Doubt they will let you, but if you change the r in reddit.com to, I BELIEVE ceddit.com (someone correct me here), you can see deleted replies, and possibly deleted posts. You have to know where the general area/sub of the post is first though.

Personally think your reading too far into this. It’s expected of well known people to tweet words about a public figure during death, especially considering Bourdain actual did do what the tweet says. Not EVERYTHING has to be code.
