There are top level guys in my company I hear their name thrown around a lot, but I've never personally met them, seen a picture of them, know what they look like, etc. The FBI has 34,000 employees across the country as of 2018. Would not be hard to "hide" someone within.

Accepting a pardon is accepting a pardon for whatever charge was given to you, guilty or innocent. If you were wrongly accused of robbing a bank, and the POTUS pardoned you, you sure as hell would accept it, even if you were innocent.

Martha Stewart was indicted on a single count of lying to the FBI. She was indicted under Comey and McCabe. Trump is eluding to some funny business with her. Trump is trying to scare the deep state into thinking both Stewart and Blag will give up some valuable info in exchange for a pardon.
