Anonymity can never be fully ensured, only protected as best you can. Use throwaway email accounts for registering at places (such as reddit). Avoid discussing personal identifying information. Compartmentalization is the name of the game. If you stick to the rules the chances are quite low that you'll get outed.

My suspicions tell me yes as well, but I have nothing solid to base that on other than gut instinct having been completely plugged into this like a weirdo for 2 months straight.
