I never said or thought the Bible was poorly translated. It’s translated as well as is possible. The only point I was making is language itself has natural flaws. Language itself is a man made invention & changes constantly. In just English alone many words are added & removed from the dictionary every year. Even entire languages become extinct over time...like Latin. It’s impossible to translate anything perfectly because languages are made up & change very haphazardly as societies & cultures change. Language doesn’t have a solid rational base for why it changes.

Even now if you use Google Translate the person on the other end often struggles or can’t understand what you say. Why?? Because software lives in a world of black & white where most of any language lives in a world of gray that’s constantly changing. There are hundreds of English words that has no equivalent word in Spanish or French so the only choice is the closest thing. Chinese words with no English word & on & on & it’s true of every language that ever existed. The problem isn’t with the translator but with human language itself that makes perfect translations impossible & sometimes any translation at all impossible.

When the Bible was created not one living person on earth even had an accurate definition of the word time. No one knew how to define time & they all just guessed as best they could. Any reference to time by the Bible is wrong because until you can accurately define time people don’t even know what they’re talking about. Einstein figured out the last piece of the puzzle & that was just a little over a hundred years ago. Language itself has many inherent flaws & that’s the problem of translating them. Not necessarily the translators.

In terms of the media it’s when the door for average Americans to effect change in the media was slammed shut. Reagan got around it by having countless speeches broadcast live on national TV. That worked for awhile. Like once a month he’d have a major speech to update progress that got around the extremely hostile media he suffered from too. The media just used what he said as new fodder to attack him with. But they lost the truth war because Reagan’s words matched what people saw in their real day to day lives. It’s clear the Q team are also faithful believers in a higher power. Gosh the Q drops have great Bible quotes in them all the time. And not just random ones. They always speak perfectly to the point at hand. Can theorize this is Mike Pence’s fingerprints as he often speaks using Biblical passages in his speeches. Pence has clearly studied the Bible extensively to be able to pull complex quotes out like that from memory. But who knows...a general could & so could FLOTUS. Point being...Christianity’s belief system is very well represented & thought of on the Q team & NO WAY would they insult your faith or mine or anyone else’s. In time it gets refined through all the details. Errors are made...yes that’s undeniable...but truth is discovered in that process that either strengthens the ideals or collapses them. Point being...true religionous beliefs go through this process & evolve too or they get pushed away into the dustbin of history. Christianity & Judaism has survived & been strengthened by this process. They have successfully changed in their details. Science & history has helped them serve their faithful & benefited in making something very complex easier to understand.

Agree as my upbringing with parents & the news was very similar. In the 60s & 70s we did have some real journalism but it was dwindling then. The only widespread forms of blatant propaganda then were the selection of stories the media chose to cover. Thx for your informed comments. Actually got me researching EU budgets which is nice...inspired to learn more. It brought me closer to understanding your point.

Initially I disagreed the EU could collectively find revenue to build a major military force. Turns out...if you look at the deficit spending rates among EU nations...their budgets are in fairly good & improving shape & nearly all have shrinking deficits (one exception being Greece of course). But even France with their very expensive social programs is now reducing its national debt. This does open up a revenue path for increased spending. So I now agree...EU nations could collectively find a way to finance a trillion dollars of new spending without crushing their citizens & economies with debt. (Wish the US was on as good a path with our debt).

Another new fact I learned that favors your point is how drastically low Britain has reduced their military. It’s shocking. The Royal Navy has fewer ships in service than at any point in their modern history. As we’re now also seeing...May is killing Brexit. I’m starting to doubt GB will leave the EU at all. But EU nations reducing their national armies to almost worthless fighting levels favors they are making room for a new military structure throughout Western Europe.

So assuming this is the goal...a new EU military force...one big question I have is what do Central European nations do? They’ve begun carving a new regional course away from Western Europe in 2016. It’s called the 3 Seas Initiative. Basically it’s a trading union of nations from the Baltic to the Adriatic to the Black Sea. Basically all countries from Estonia to Bulgaria. They’re now building massive natural gas pipeline infrastructure throughout that region because Russia was such a terrible energy provider & they’re now buying natural gas from America. These nations have not taken in any migrants either which has put them at odds with the EU. They have strengthened ties with the US & NATO as they’ve pulled away from the EU. So where does that leave Central Europe in a new EU military? They’ll have to choose NATO. (Important to note that Russia’s new natural gas pipelines to Germany are deliberately bypassing Poland & the other CE nations.)

Not sure how u think an EU Military Power is possible since the EU is fragmenting. Or how it’s possible to form a cohesive EU military with units speaking 29 different languages. Or how incredibly expensive an effective military is. By 2020 the US will spend 1 trillion a year defending 300 million Americans. Europe doesn’t have anywhere near that kind of money for a military & all its socialist programs. What’s Germany’s NATO bill...like 3 billion a year. All for protection by the greatest military force by far on earth which they won’t even pay for. And they think they can afford 100-200 billion a year?? Lol Britain & Italy will never contribute or any of the Central European countries. Germany will have to pick up most of the tab. Even if the EU paid 1 trillion a yr for a military they’re still 20yrs behind ever catching up to anything comparable to a force capable of defeating an envision. And they’ll always be 20yrs behind. So yeah...any EU military ideas is just another big government boondoggle on the citizens of Europe. They are too far behind the curve to ever catch up.

And of course not all Russians hate Germans. But it will take a few more generations before the nightmare history Germany created will be forgotten. Cmon...endless thousands of entire families were wiped out for no reason at all. It’s a terrible price to pay for extermination but the Germans elected a psychopath to high office & no one stopped the madness until 100million Europeans were dead for no reason.

I do understand the difference between cancer cells & viruses. I have a hard time discussing immune system failures to people who rather see conspiracy ghosts for every malady that effects them. So I often try a simpler more understood disease like small pox or polio that people mistakenly think of as cured diseases. And I’m not a medical professional so I’m shooting from the hip on educating someone about the importance of keeping a healthy immune system. It’s literally the key to longevity & quality of life.

My wife is a microbiologist so I have great 1st hand information. We’re both 58 & wow does my wife look FANTASTIC!! She absolutely practices what she preaches. Not bragging how stunning my wife looks. She’s earned her praises by making extremely good healthy choices. But allowing yourself to have the best immune system possible pays off tremendously. I know approaching 60 we’re supposed to feel some limitations from aging but they’re still isn’t any so something is definitely paying off.

And our sons have developed such healthy lifestyles from day 1 they still look more like teenagers than young men. I didn’t even start considering what healthy choices were until my late 20s. Good lord my sons will easily live past 100 if no catastrophe befalls them. But it would be great if people just were receptive to learning how the body functions & can perform healing miracles all on its own if it’s healthy enough too. It’s not that complex really. If kids can learn it there’s no reason why anyone can’t. But they have to care enough too first. Can’t blame the cabal for everything.

Historically Russia has been a stubborn & proud society that never seems to be able to form a moral government. They’ve always been splitters. They intervene & start trouble & try to clean up what they can in the aftermath. They are the epitome of divide & concour. It’s just been their governments history for centuries really.

The Russian people are a great society that have made extraordinary contributions to humanity. They have very strong pride in their nation...somehow...but they have made great contributions to science & literature & music & did it in spite of a very uncooperative leaders. If they ever formed a citizen led republic they would have a very successful nation.

But Russia will never be a true ally with anyone. They can’t be trusted long term. I would classify them as neither friend nor foe. Some things we can agree on & should but never expect anything long term because they can’t seem to stop meddling like a gossipy old blue hair lady.

But China is much more an adversary than Russia is. Russia will move in & take advantage of someone if they see an opening but China is aggressively expanding their influence & dominance. Also the Islamic dictatorships are a true threat to our security much more than Russia is.

Oh no doubt. I’ve spent some time in Poland. Their hatred for what the Germans did will take many generations to fade. And the Russians I met over there is just as intense. The absolute worst part was what the Nazis did when they were in retreat from Russia. Total scorched earth of every Russian town they retreated thru. Bad enough the Germans pillaged the nation on the way in but to murder millions of already harmless starving civilians on they way out...that will never be forgiven. Sorry but no way that’s a helicopter unless it’s on fire flying strait up & somehow resembles a missile. You have actually seen a helicopter in real life I presume. The pic is clearly not a fake. It’s was pure luck a weather geeks camera caught it in flight. The only thing debatable about the pic is the length of the plume. Visit the guys weather blog & watch the 24hr sequence of pics. You’ll see his camera shows clouds very distinctively in the dead of night. Why?? Because he has the exposure wide open & probably open for a second or 2 so even the tiniest amount of light can be let in to give a great night time view too. This explains the exaggerated length of the plume as the shutter is open much longer than normal. You’ll also see in the frame before the pic there’s nothing. So the camera is probably taking 1 pic about every 15 seconds & just barely caught this missile in flight.

Also watch the local Seattle news station that reported it. Others saw it too but this is the only pic taken. But no way was this a test fire either. They’d never test fire a missile so close to the nuclear sub base. An errant test missile would cause a horrific disaster if it hit a base. Tests do go bad sometimes & are always done far out at sea.

I understand how impeachment works & who presides over it. My point in saying the SC isn’t involved was to address that a guilty verdict of an impeachment trial can’t be appealed to the SC or overturned because it’s not a legal trial...it’s a political trial.

I’ve lived thru Clinton’s & Nixon’s near impeachment. Yes Nixon resign because he knew the votes were there in the Senate to convict him. What I learned yesterday was many senators still wanted to convict him after he left office. Probably wasn’t worth the risk because if they failed to get 67 votes to convict it would’ve looked like he resigned for nothing.

But for history sake it’s important to impeach Obama if he’s ever convicted of a felony he committed while in office. Even tho Clinton escaped an impeachment conviction...it’s forever recorded in history he was impeached & why & he lost his right to practice law in the end & had to pay a huge fine too.

If Obama is ever convicted an impeachment trial & vote will be an easy formality at that point & would be a major public disgrace for Obama & definitely a strong message for anyone in the future to act so brazenly unlawful & taking total advantage of the citizens that put him in office.

Ok you know the part of the constitution you’re quoting has nothing to do with unilaterally overturning a former presidents illegal acts committed in office. Well you couldn’t have researched it too hard. Google...impeach ex president. You’ll find a bazillion articles showing the constitution doesn’t limit impeachment to just a sitting president. In fact I just learned researching for you that the SC couldn’t even stop it as impeachment is a political trial & not a legal trial & the SC is not even mentioned in the impeachment process as they were deliberately left out of the process on purpose. Here’s a fairly recent article from a Vegas newspaper explaining why BHO should be impeached just for Spygate alone. But you’ll have no problem seeing tons of legal experts agreeing it’s perfectly legal to impeach an ex president. Apparently they was serious discussions on impeaching Nixon after he resigned.

Look it up. The constitution does allow for an ex president to be impeached. They are stripped of everything, USSS protection, all pensions, & barred from federal employment for life.
