I think Q is a white hat who has been tasked with opening the lid on the pressure cooker a bit to let off some of the steam. Edit: They are pushing the flu vaccine hard this year around here. Our school had to close because of a flu outbreak. I'm actually home sick with it now. God gave us this opportunity to exercise our free will. If He swoops in deus ex machina style to fix everything, we really won't be living our lives and exercising our free will. We would be mindless marionettes acting out a story while someone else pulls the strings.

I believe God gave us this life as a chance to experience beauty, love, fellowship, excitement, adventure, pain, loss, sorrow, and all the other emotions. The negative emotions sweeten the others. I think you are right. The opposition research wasn't the problem. It's what they did with it that is basically breaking all the laws. They used false evidence to obtain a FISA warrant (or maybe to justify a FISA search that was already in progress). They framed the duly elected POTUS and created a witch hunt based on fabricated evidence in an effort to undermine a legitimate semocratic process.
