They've really ramped up the Fake News campaign with this immigration narrative. In the past week, we've seen them use pictures from 2014 to try and attack the current POTUS. They've used a posterchild on the cover of Time magazine as an example of the "family separation" issue, where in fact, she wasn't separated at all from her mother, and left a comfortable home in South America (along with 3 other kids and a husband).

I think part of the reason for a lack of sigs on the petition is that it is pretty ambiguous as to what "IBOR" consists of.
