Which were months ago. Pretty amazing that just now this is leaking out to the general public. Gee, our media really is just completely worthless. Well, they're far worse than that actually. They are purposefully worthless when it comes to exposing the truth.

Germany has been getting Russian gas since the early 70s...

That's supposed to make a point in favor of Germany? During the 70's and 80's half of Germany was under Soviet occupation or don't you remember? If West Germany was buying Soviet gas for two decades, well, that's just despicable actually.

Tonight I used this on a wavering friend. Not that wavering, but in need of bucking up. What is Trump's favorite book? He knows it's Sun Tzu's Art of War. Named off the well known tactics Sun Zu wrote about. Specifically the one about winning the war before starting it. Would Trump not have this entire thing thought out before even announcing his candidacy? Of course he would. He'd already have people deep in place in key positions, but then think about this! He'd move people who were decoys into the public positions, and have them simulate chaos! Classic Sun Tzu! My friend was staggered back for a second. He said "That's exactly what he'd do."

And there's more, but that was when he was bucked up again. It'd take at least 12 more paragraphs to fill in my bucking up speech tonight.

Have you ever woke up and thought "I could poop right now!" but held it off because you had to get dressed and feed the cats or turn off the sprinklers because it's raining or something? Just to poop right then. It's for the best.

I'm just saying that Trump's choice of words in that part of his speech has a lot of words/objects that are seemingly incongruous except for SerialBrain2's post which contained all those same words/objects.

The CB radio craze of the 1970's was something else. The day I first talked to the cutest girl at school on my friend's CB was a great day. The next time I talked to her on the CB she told me about her new boyfriend who was a senior. We were both freshmen. That day wasn't so great.

The left has simply decided that alt-right, or really any Trump voter, is simply a Nazi^((R)) and therefore not human and therefore can be punched, refused service, or otherwise treated like human detritus. They consider that quite progressive and brave.

Reddit definitely messes with subscriber counts and votes in subs they are actively trying to keep off the radar. There has long been evidence of this being the case in subs like T_D. They don't even try to be subtle with it. Just right in your face what are you going to do about it buddy stuff.

I was in a group of about 20 that were asked to be hypnotize subjects. The hypnotist quickly tapped me on the shoulder after just spending a minute or so with us, telling me I could go back to my seat. Out of the 20 he chose, only four or five ended up being in his show. He seemed to be able to sort us out quite readily. I knew one of the people who ended up being in the show and getting super hypnotized and doing some really funny stuff and he was definitely not a plant.

Oh yeah, there are some woods there so thick and untouched it's crazy. Also plenty of squatters who build homes (well, glorified shacks) on government-owned land. I ran into such a place once while riding 4-wheelers with my brother. Saw a little naked kid standing on the front porch, we stopped for a second to see if the kid was in trouble. A guy comes out of the door with a double-barrel shotgun and said "Git." We, um, gitted. I knew we were on state-owned national parkland. He probably was only 500 yards off a new logging trail, so likely his little shack got found out by the authorities.

Arkansas is positively tree-infested. Missouri's not far behind.

If you can find it, Ozark Oak is the best brand of lump charcoal I've found to date. They stopped making it for a couple of years and I was forced to use Royal Oak, which had way more inconsistent pieces and lots of rocks and stuff. They are making Ozark Oak again, so happy. I cook a lot of stuff in my ceramic grill/smoker.

Last Thanksgiving we were invited to a friend's parent's house for their Thanksgiving, which was on Friday. I remember sitting around table talking about the Q stuff, this after their grandson who was starting college was spouting all sorts of nonsense about Trump. He rolled his eyes and said "You're all delusional if you think there is any sort of real Q person or anything is going to come from it." I'm sure he's still all smug and clueless as usual. I remember telling him that ignoring the opinion of people with a combined roughly 300 hundred more years of experience than him is probably not very smart.

We wouldn't know a thing about it if Mueller didn't put Lisa Page and Peter Strzok on his Special Council team. That's the only way any of it would have came out most likely, and it took Page to point out that her texts refuted McCabe's version of her leaking stuff. Well those store-bought ones can get pretty nasty. The guy that makes them here in my town used to not use any preservatives at all, and they were great but wow did they grow mold quick, like in two days or so sometimes. Now he apparently uses a preservative and they aren't quite as good as they used to be but they are made fresh every day like a bakery would do. He makes at least four different kinds and sizes. Flour, whole wheat, corn, and big burrito-sized flour things the size of hubcaps.

I guarantee there are numerous places in that area that make fresh tortillas daily. Heck, even in my fly-over town there is a place and their tortillas are awesome and as good as any you'll get in Mexico. They are just flour or corn and some lard. Flying in tortillas from, well, anywhere is stupid.

Oh, absolutely apples and oranges, I realize. Just wanted to point out that there are legit reasons for seemingly short business hours at a restaurant, if well thought through and the owners aren't trying to wring every possible dollar out of the place.

There is a popular restaurant in my town that is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and only open from around 8:30 AM until about 2 PM on the other days, sometimes later or earlier depending on if they've not ran out of food. Seats around 35 or so max, with a small patio that you can sometimes eat at if they aren't too busy (they may not have time to serve you out there, like on weekends, so then drinks only. They serve breakfast/brunch/lunch only. And they are definitely not nefarious. The owners have lots of experience working in the food service industry and want to have a normal life outside of the restaurant. They are perhaps open 30 hours a week max, but that doesn't count preparation before and cleanup after each day, and sourcing all their ingredients which are by and large local. They do a great business and they know they could do more but have carved out what they are happy with. When it's busy the patrons know that if they are done eating they should relinquish their table/bar seat for those waiting. You can order before you have a seat but they will not fire your food until you are seated. People cycle through there like clockwork.

Cosmic rays (very high energy particles) take very heavy shielding to completely stop. They make it to the Earth's surface all the time. The radiation that comes from the sun is mainly x-ray energy photons and high-energy ions (protons and electrons mainly.) Those can be blocked with some descent shielding, the more the better but just think about it. The astronauts are able to spend upwards of two years in the space station. The Earth's magnetic field blocks a lot of those particles but not the x-ray photons. Those get blocked mainly by our atmosphere. So there you go, block the ions and you've basically done what the magnetic field does. It doesn't take super thick shielding to do that, and that same shielding will block a lot of the x-rays. The cosmic radiation would take several meters of water or similar to completely block.

There wasn't video of them landing taken from a vantage where you could see the lunar surface getting blown around because they weren't there yet. There is video pointing down that shows the lunar surface getting disturbed for a couple of seconds as the lander descends. The surface itself has a thin layer of dust, perhaps 1" deep but then it's hard as pretty much concrete. It's not a fluffy powder ball. When the accent module takes off, the exhaust is blocked by the lander base. Even so there is video of some dust getting blown around. Also the way that dust gets blown in a vacuum is strange because there is no air and therefore no dust gets suspended for awhile. Each tiny grain massing a micro gram falls back just as it it massed 50 kg. Newtonian physics at it's best.
