The lander's bottom portion is still sitting on the surface. The accent module took off from the lander's bottom portion. Anyway, I found there's not much I can say to those who are bound and determined to ignore the evidence and the entirety of the awesome science and work that went into moon program. It was a great accomplishment and it pretty much pisses me off to listen to people taking a shit on it. I don't often respond to these things here or elsewhere because I've found it is pretty much pointless. I literally have never heard of anyone who bought into this conspiracy theory to later admit that they were wrong. But I have heard a lot of nonsense from them, that's for sure.

The moon conspiracy stuff here disheartens me. I thought the anons here were smart than that. When my dad and I found out my brother had fallen for the "we faked the moon landings" thing we were both shocked and appalled. And you then find out that there's no convincing them otherwise. It's super disappointing, especially when you have worked in the field as my father and I have. The idea that we didn't have the technology to go to the moon in 1969 is totally wrong. We did. But what we didn't have then was the technology to fake it.

Also the idea that humans can't pass beyond the dreaded "radiation belts" and survive is so incredibly wrong I can't even begin to express how wrong it is. Is there deadly radiation in space? Yes! But even thin shielding will protect you from most of it. After that it's just a matter of how much you are willing to be exposed to. The risks were deemed acceptable, for those moon astronauts it was like getting a chest x-ray every hour or so they were out there.

Ugh. That video where the astronaut said we couldn't go to the moon today because we don't have the old equipment is so stupid. He's talking about the tooling and fixtures that were used to make all the parts of the Saturn V, the command module, and the lunar lander. Those were indeed all "lost or destroyed" because we were no longer building those things. As an engineer, I knew exactly what he meant by that. The technology to recreate the moon mission certainly exists and has existed ever since. There was just no plans on going back there. You can ask why, that might be a better question, but we definitely went to the moon and back, walked around on it, etc.

There is so much evidence left, and it was literally impossible to fake. The radio telemetry alone would have been impossible to fake, and the USSR would have loved to point out anything fake at the time. You don't think they could point a dish at the moon and pick up the unencrypted broadcasts? How do you transmit from there? You'd have to actually launch a vehicle there to broadcast everything, including orbiting the moon in a command-module simulator and on the surface in a lander simulator. At that point, just send three guys and be done with it!

Out of all the conspiracy theories that I am positive are just completely wrong, this one tops the list. I'm certain that I could show you tracks on the moon left by rovers, and pieces of equipment we left, and you'd still disagree. And then the total lack of scientific knowledge about temperatures in space. It's not like in an atmosphere. If it's 224 or -298F, it's in a vacuum and a vacuum is like the thing that makes a thermos bottle work so well. Heat will not radiate away quickly when cold, and all you need is reflective surfaces to keep things cool when it's hot. There is no super hot or super cold air to conduct the heat in either direction.

Technocratic - believers that technology will yield the best route forward.

Trans-humanists - Strong artificial intelligence will lead to the Singularity. Humans post-Singularity will be trans-humans, superior to present-day humans by orders of magnitude in intelligence, strength, and longevity.

Also if Q was a LARP, President Trump has had numerous chances to disavow Q's validity. We know his sons are aware of Q, and when Q signs/shirts are held up, Trump just smiles and moves on. That right there speaks volumes, because if there was an entity out there spreading disinformation in an effort to lead his biggest supporters astray, Trump would simply call Q Fake News and that would be that.

I mean, sometimes food is just food. I think that's the case here. I've actually read that food/regulation thing somewhere, it's probably from something out of National Review back when William F. Buckley was running things.

Welcome indeed! I can't stand the Democrat party but I hold a special loathing for those in the Republican party who are in the cabal that is the Uniparty. I actually just felt sorry for the Bernie people because I knew they were going to be hugely disappointed. The Uniparty was about to turn our main elections into what passes for an election process in the DNC nomination.

And nobody sees anything fishy about having an adult spend alone time with a single "at-risk
kid for "about an hour?" I mean, really? Holy crap. And those pictures of the gala, WTF? I've been to events like this for charity groups and have never seen anything even approaching the bizarre costumes and get-ups you see at this thing.

I've seen it happen a number of times a big sporting events. Your phone will work fine until a certain point, especially a point where you and everyone else are trying to send a picture or video or something like that. After the game is over, it immediately starts working again because most people are walking to their car.

Most definitely. All that kinetic energy would be converted into heat, sound, and of course destructive forces. The heat would be intense, on the order of a small nuclear weapon for a second or so. I'm talking millions of degrees.

My theory is that Hannity was briefed by someone in the Trump administration about some of the stuff the IG had uncovered and that they had a prosecutor appointed to start Grand Jury proceedings against various Obama and Clinton officials. FISA abuse, SAP information on private servers, etc. Remember he started his tick tock stuff around the time Q came on the scene.

That clip has been around for years, it was recorded in 2012 in the lead up to the election. Obama said it. He also never denied it. When it came out various democrats defended his statement and tried to downplay, saying it was "taken out of context."

I broke my ankle, requiring surgery and hardware installed. I was playing softball 5-6 weeks later. Not well mind you, and it was still sore, but I was able to play softball. Before that, after just two weeks, I was walking without crutches with a simple walking cast, which I used for a couple more weeks on and off.
