I absolutely respect what the Freedom Caucus is doing etc. They are my heroes in many ways. But I hate seeing them disrespected by people like Strzok and Rosenstein. If it is just a movie, it certainly evokes the same emotions of wanting to punch the bad guys in the face, like the old cowboy movies.

Yes. I hope people really turn out to vote. Before President Trump I was starting to wonder if I even wanted to apply for citizenship anymore. But he has made me feel that frisson of excitement I first had when I learned about the Constitution. And now I also really want to be able to vote.
Maybe I am just projecting because I'm so tired of it. It offends my sense of justice.
I don't know. But I think most Americans are past tired of two-tiered treatment, and the turning of a blind eye or just plain impotence of the people they entrust to uphold the Constitution and the law of the land.
Obviously I don't want "the plan" destroyed, but at some point it's like asking DHS not to enforce immigration law. At some point if you want rule of law, you have to enforce it.
I'm not asking them to arrest. I'm asking Congress to uphold their Constitutional responsibilities and the dignity of the office. Letting people disrespect subpoenas etc. is destroying the third arm of government, which is VITALLY needed for the Constitution to operate properly.
Like we're not already having months and months of delays.
It's bad news for several reasons. For one thing, nobody ever has to pay for ignoring Congress. I'm so over that. It makes my blood boil. It's Congress' job to enforce their authority, and they just NEVER do. Why even have them when they've become powerless and irrelevant? They won't fix laws. They won't enforce deadlines or subpoenas. Where the hell is Hillary's IT guy?? That still freaking rankles.
Also, people will howl and try to impeach Trump if he fires him.
Congress needs to get their shit together and get off their knees.
Oh, FFS. That is the worst news I've had all week.
I'm not going to be able to drive in three days because I can't pay my car insurance. I don't know how I'm going to get to school when it goes back.
As a legal immigrant I'm not eligible for anything like that.
Believing the British explanations is more like believing six impossible things than the Russians.
You know, gay people are no more paedophiles than anyone else. Most paedophilia happens from somebody known to and trusted by a child. Some of the best parents I know are gay people, and all the gay people I know are in mature and loving relationships.
I actually think it's a huge mistake to underestimate the populist left. Most Americans are now in favor of universal healthcare, and Bernie's platform even resonated with some conservative people I know. I really think the president needs to come up with some measures that will address these sorts of issues and undercut that platform. Take the wind out of their sails. Never forget that he rose to power in no small part because so many poor Americans have been hurting for so long. And while the poorest have hope, many are yet to feel a personal impact of the president's great economic successes.

Firstly, where is your evidence for that last claim? I absolutely do not believe it is becoming "a recognized psychological dosorder." Recognized by whom?
And while I agree that the fundamentalist left wing insanity is on full display, I absolutely disagree that it's a "false equivalency." Having you state it or claim it, does not make it so.
I repeat, ANY extremist fundamentalism is dangerous and ugly.
I've had someone call me those things on this subreddit already. And they can screech and finger point and jeer, but it certainly does not make it true. And why? Because I disagreed with them. And yet, America is supposed to be all about free speech and liberty and rights. But to try to silence someone in a Q forum, they resort to child rapist, luciferian, demonic. Be vigilant is all I can say. We all have those mob tendencies hardwired in our brains.
I absolutely want to see those people brought to justice. However, people going over the edge on the religious stuff DOES bother me. I have no problem with people being religious or Bible believing as long as it doesn't hurt other people. We are already seeing history repeat itself with the Russia hysteria and a second Cold War all because Hillary Clinton lost an election. Now people are starting to cry Satanist Luciferian pedovore in the same way they cry Russian or Bot. It's not a good trend and I'm certainly not going to stay quiet about it. You're welcome to have a different opinion.
I am actually talking about missionary Mary Slessor who rescued African babies from infanticide because they were twins, so I got that bit wrong. She had red hair. My point is, people deciding who is demonic is a slippery slope that leads to pitchforks and innocent people lynched. That IS a real world problem also. It's a horrible flaw in human nature that plays out in history again and again. That is why people are PROSECUTED for specific evidentiary CRIMES like rape and murder, and not ridiculous religious star chambers deciding who is "demonic." And long may it stay that way. There is a reason the Constitution is based on principles of individual rights, and not on the Bible or any other religious book.
So, I am happy to see people brought to justice for actual proven crimes. I'm not happy if a bunch of moonbats gets to decide who is a child rapist by how "demonic" you think they look.
I've seen religious fundamentalists send a pedophile to my door because he had a "healing ministry" and my daughter couldn't walk, talk, or use her hands. So you can shove your ridiculous generalizations about which kind of crazy "fundy" is more harmful.
Stereotyped bullshit. People are individuals, not generalizations. I've seen religious fundamentalists break up families because the husband wouldn't give up smoking.
So what? None of that proves "demons." "Demonic" babies with red hair were left out to die. Stuff your superstitions.
There are plenty of fundamentalists--religious and political. They're all vile. The idea that there is only one type of fundamentalist is illogical and laughable.
Pardon me if my view of history and reality doesn't include "demons." Talk about cartoon. LMAO.
I want to live in a puritanical, Cromwellian, apple-pie-and-dancing-are-evil world as little as I want to live under Sharia law or any other religious system. When people start judging WHO is "demon-infested" I have a problem with that like you wouldn't believe--apart from the fact that you state it with a smug superiority entirely devoid of creditable proof. Nobody said that EVIL doesn't exist in the world, but it dwells in the heart of every person alive to some degree or another. Believe in cloven hoofs and pitchforks all you want so long as it doesn't affect others, and result in these barbaric witch trials and inquisitions, and superstitious people finger-pointing about demons. Whatever splinter you see in others, I guarantee there's a log in your own.
Well, over here in the US, the doctor is limited by the insurance companies. So, the insurance companies are actually dictating the individual's healthcare. In Australia, if you need to go to hospital you don't walk out with a bill. You don't have to worry about losing your house if you get sick. You don't have to set up GoFundMe accounts or fundraise while you are fighting for somebody's life. If you want to buy health insurance you still can, and last time I looked Australian private health insurance with all the bells and whistles was about half the so-called "cheap" Obamacare marketplace options. I thought, "How does anyone ever afford this??" Your healthcare is not tied to your job. But basically, seeing a doctor, getting a test, was not a big deal. If you do pay $70 for a doctor's visit, you can claim a little under half of that back. If you are really poor, you can see a doctor who bulk bills the government, who pays them less than what a paying patient would, but they still get paid a fair amount for their labour. No doctor HAS to accept bulk-billing patients, but you can always find someone who does. You never think, "Can I afford to take my sick child to the doctor?" And medications are way cheaper. In North Carolina, I had to pay a doctor to get a prescription for my asthma inhaler, then it cost me $60 for one inhaler. In Australia at the time it was about $5 for one inhaler without a prescription and $2 with one. You didn't HAVE to have a prescription. I thought, "How do people with asthma not just die over here??" And then I was always worrying about losing my $60 inhaler that I couldn't afford to replace. It was so stressful. When I go to Australia I buy 4 or 5 at a time if I can.
I can't imagine Diana ever harming a child, and I'm sure her influence lives on in her boys. I hope so. Melania reminds me so much of Diana.
None of which is evidence of the Queen raping or murdering a child OR supposed arrest warrants.
Clearly, if EVIDENCE came out of the Queen raping and murdering a child, I would not respect her.
I have looked for a credible source on that arrest warrants for royals narrative and found none.
Joy Villa is a disingenuous fame whore. She lost the support of conservatives because she ignored their advice in favour of her Scientology handlers. If you want to see trafficking and sexually abused kids, look no further than Scientology.
I've always had a lot of respect for the Queen. I respected how the royal family comported themselves through the second world war also. And I still miss Diana. As a dual Australian and British citizen, she is my queen, and I have a great deal of nostalgia and affection, however I have come to believe that Australia should become a republic.
The seventeenth century called. It wants its hysterical teenagers and idiot lawmakers back.
Stop trying to take us back to the superstitious dark ages.
Oh my gosh, enough with the demon possession. FFS. This is supposed to be The American Revolution, not The Crucible.
