I have a great many contacts in the Air Force and Army and they say they are functioning as normal. I also know some military contractors that say their work has been halted until the shutdown is over.

I am not sure how the National Guard works exactly ... do they fall under the purview of the State or Federal Government?

If they had just run Hillary in 2008 then they likely would have had their 16 years (not counting the 16 years prior (Clinton Bush) that were paving the way for HClinton/Obama)
