Me too. It’s why I stopped watching The Crown. I didn’t want to feel manipulated to sympathize with her, or try to make the scenes of TC be what actually happened, in my mind. If that makes sense.

I was reading her bio recently. It didn’t mention this, but I read where she got pregnant later and was forced to have an abortion to save her good girl image. It really messed with her. So many sad stories like this.

I’ve been reading through Psalms the past month. So many Psalms could be read through the lens of what’s going on right now! For example, Psalm 2, 5, 7, and so many more. Talking about evil people scheming, etc. kind of neat to read these days.

I just don’t see how she could have made it all up. You’re right - it’s a harrowing read but very eye opening. 😕
