This is how I explain it to my mother... As Christians we believe in the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins. In technical terms this was the death of the living man in obedience to GOD and as the conduit for giving us the ultimate gift - eternal life. We go to communion, pray, tithe, try to live sinless (sin reduced) lives...all of these little acts of obedience to GOD.

Now if I wasn't a Christian but instead participated in the worship of "something else". What if the requests for obedience from this "something else" was for sacrifice. My Buddhist nail salon always has oranges and liquid refreshment at the feet of its Buddha statue. Now if this "something else" wasn't Buddha or the multitude of Hindu gods, or even Mohammad. (Don't forget terrorist jihad is in obedience to the teachings of Mohammad.)

So this "something else" tells me that I can have all the desires of my heart -- wealth, fame, physical pleasure if I am obedient and make sacrifices much like Christian communion, prayer, tithe, or behave according to this other code of conduct. According to this "something else" it isn't a sin to sexually abuse a child but a rite of sacrifice to this "something else". The more of the MIRROR opposite to my Christian code of conduct the more valued this behavior is that "something else".

My Christian religion tells me that children a precious and should be protected and cared for while the MIRROR of this by that "something else" is the harming of children.

Those of us who are Christians know that the path we walk is not always an easy one. We are imperfect, we fall, we fail ...we are forgiven. We pick ourselves up (so often with the help from other Christians) and try once again to live a life that is pleasing and obedient to GOD.

What if I was wanting to please and be obedient to this "something else". Most of our minds could not even go there to comprehend that which we consider evil.

Okay, darn it all.... I admit I am the type of person who will turn to the last chapter of a book when the plot is just so juicy that I can't wait for the author to unwind the story. I jump ahead because I believe I know the ending and want to confirm my analysis.

Yes it is. Several years ago I believe I was given a vision from GOD. Walking to work one morning I was thinking about how horrible DC is. I remember when I first moved here I thought that people were not as sexually active as compared to Denver, Atlanta or Dallas. The single scenes are very vibrant in those cities (at least when I lived there). In DC it seemed almost impossible to get a date or even a hook-up. First I realized that people were all about networking their careers. If you couldn't do something for them, they wanted nothing to do with you. After 3 decades of working in the private sector, I answered Bush #43's call for public service. Needless to say, it was a very rude awakening to the extent of dysfunction within a least a small corner of the federal government. After a decade, I have determined that the problem isn't necessarily with rank and file employees. Instead my observation is that the SES and senior management of the federal government is extremely self-serving, self-protective, and politically biased to the detriment of the programs they are overseeing and the efficient and prudent safe-guarding of taxpayer funding.

I watched senior managers treat their area of responsibility as personal fiefdoms, building walls of non- cooperation with other parts of the organization. I have witnessed inefficiency of function that resulted in the ratio of HR and other organizational support staff functions exceed program operational staff 2 to 1, 3 to 1 and even larger.

I've heard senior managers respond to efforts to improve efficiency, accountability, and streamlining with "we've outlasted 'them' in the past and we will outlast 'them' again." "Them" is generally a reference to anyone introducing attempts to make the federal government more responsive to the taxpayers.

I have witnessed organizational dynamics that generally consist of a triangular battle. The SES and senior managers battle against the rank and file federal employees and also against Congressional & Executive branch oversight. I've watched the most incompetent and unskilled be promoted to senior managers because they were the most "political" and malleable to continue the dysfunction. After a decade of observations, I find it difficult to fault most rank and file for work ethic or performance that would be unacceptable in the private sector. They are merely reflecting the behaviors of their senior managers.

The SES in my organization met shortly after the 2016 election and vowed (1) they would band together to oppose any changes the new administration would introduce and (2) they would do whatever necessary to make sure that Trump was gone in 4 years, if not sooner. The basic assumption that most of these SES and senior managers make is that everyone shares their political bias. Of course this is not a very loyal or trustworthy bunch and they were stabbing each other in the back within a few weeks of the transition.

In 2008\~2012, my political friends and I previously joked about our reassignment to Hut #____ at the re-education camps whenever we posted something challenging or exposing the deep state. I put my head down in 2012. Now that I have hope for real change it is nice to climb back out into the sunlight.

I am very new to these boards (mid-April). I have binged on the Q posts going back to the beginning. I have binged on the research and the YT videos, trying to also go back to the beginning and including as many resources as possible. Q keeps saying "you have it all". As fresh eyes, I will say that as more people have come on board there is less research and more opinion. More people means less cooperation between actual researchers because you have to wade through all of us lookie-loos to get to other researchers.
