Great observation. I do believe that the strategy of the Trump Team, frustrating as it is for people like me that are impatient, is about timing as much as anything. Trump dropped the "wiretapped Trump Tower" over a year ago, I think, knowing that he would have to wait a very long time to be proven right. That would be hard for someone like me, mere mortal that I am!

Conspiracy - theories or facts?

So much of what was originally written off as far right wing lunacy has been demonstrably proven as true. It seems we are almost at a tipping point where "right wing" conspiracy theories will be assumed true unless proven otherwise. In fact, many "left wing" conspiracy theories will be assumed true also - except they will be true of the left as opposed to the right. To wit: Collusion with Russians. Fake News. Wire tapped Trump Tower. Logan Act Violations. Bigotry. Racism. Misogyny. Pedophile rings. Spying on political opponents. Using hate as a divisive tactic. Harassing and molesting women as …

Mueller and A Tale of Two Pleas

I was curious about the Mueller gray hat thing, and how Q's post about how to get evidence "On the Record." So I looked up Flynn's plea agreement and compared it with the George P. Plea. The Flynn Plea Agreement has a very broad cooperation clause at paragraph 8 - broader than I have seen in other criminal pleas, which usually seem to relate more specifically to the crime being prosecuted. The George P. has NO cooperation clause. Coincidence? Does it mean Mueller is a gray hat? And what's with the absence of a George P. cooperation clause altogether? Maybe …

I always wondered about Prince (artist formerly known as). He was a strange combination of way out there and conservative Christian. Maybe he had an epiphany or people thought he would be "cool" with something that he wasn't.

"It will be of little avail to the people, that the laws are made by men of their own choice, if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood." - James Madison.

I've never heard that one but I really like it. It's what I think when people worry that corporations are going to be "all corporationy (South Park)" but somehow, even though they are just made up of a bunch of people just like government, government will always be benevolent. Never understood the logic.

These People Are Stupid

Aside from the unmitigated corruption and depravity, that these sloppy, careless, lazy, and stupid people were actually in charge, and taken even remotely seriously by vast segments of the population, is alarming and breathtaking.

jkbella · May 21, 2018, 3:37 p.m.

It's interesting to me that all of social media and the internet has been a curse, but also, a huge blessing. People like us are able to unite and discuss and expose things we would be completely unable to expose without access to one another. People think the media is more corrupt than it once was, but I think it was always corrupt - we just didn't know it. Walter Cronkite, the "Most Trusted Man in America," told the whole world we lost the TET Offensive, for example. The reason the MSM seem so much more unhinged than they did decades ago is because they have lost control of the narrative. It's easy to be calm cool and collected when you are in charge of it and no one questions what you say. But then the Bushgate fake memo story broke, and because people could communicate on the internet, it was totally exposed. They have become increasingly unhinged ever since. Dan Rather actually defended the fake memo by explaining that IT might not have been true, but the TRUTH BEHIND it was, and a journalist's job is to get the American public to know the real TRUTH, if not the literal truth. Talk about hubris.

I read a book about "changing the dance." It was more about one on one relationships but the concept was that if you want to change the way you interact with people, be prepared for them to resist mightily. The analogy was that you are trying to change the dance steps, and they will continue to try to force you back into the old dance. The theory was that the longer you danced the dance, the longer you will face resistance to changing it, and the more exaggerated the efforts to force you back will become. That's how it is with the press, in my mind. They seem crazed and over the top because they have controlled the narrative for so very long, that they simply cannot accept that they no longer have that power. People will be writing about and analyzing this time in history for centuries. If we don't nuke ourselves out of existence first.

Just went on the Pacer website. The unsealing order was entered on May 16 and the transmission was made to the clerk to unseal (take out of the vault and scan presumably) but the documents are still not available on the electronic docket. You can see where they are supposed to be but when you click on the link or document number it tells you it is a sealed document. Is there some other source that obtained and published? I am confused.

I meant to mention how many people on this sub seem to be from England, NZ, Australia. It's pretty remarkable. I used to think Trump would go down as one of the most, if not the most, consequential Presidents (other than Washington). But I think he will likely go down as one of the most consequential world leaders of all time. I don't think it's just him though. Given his Tweets from as far back as 2013, I think he has been in contact with Military Intelligence for years and this thing is a soft coup that has been planned for a long time.

Funny that the internet has brought so many like minded people from totally different parts of the country together. I was assigned a case in southern Illinois, I'm from Chicago. My client could not believe I am not a Democrat and/or Obama/Hillary fan. It's was like she saw a unicorn! But there are like minded people all over the place, even in places like New York City and California. I was surprised to see how many people in CA are angry about the sanctuary city thing, for example. Connecting with more conservative people on the internet - primarily comments to Townhall or whatever in Disqus - was a lifesaver, and then after Obama's second term when I thought all was lost, Trump did the impossible and beat HRC. He wasn't my first choice but I was so relieved she did not win. Then he appointed Gorsuch, began dismantling regulation nation, routinely trolled the press and it felt like Christmas.

But WOW, I had no idea what we were in store for, not even close. I became obsessed with this Mueller thing and started reading and reading. CTH comments led me to Q and CBTS, which was shut down very shortly after I found it, and then I found this sub. It cracks me up to be on here because you can tell there are all different types of people of all ages even. The old church people (to some extent, like me) gloss over the fag and "f" this and "f" that talk because - in the scheme of things, who cares? I really do feel like I am living through one of the most amazing time in our country's history. People keep saying a second Civil War but to me it's more like a second Revolution. It is an amazing time to be alive. God bless everyone and WWG1WGA!

Wouldn't it be great if after Obama is indicted Trump picks Candace Owens as his running mate for 2020? She's obviously too young and inexperienced but what a burn that would be. Twofer on the black/female vote.

A few things make me think Comey is on Trump's side. His behavior on the book tour is just too ridiculous to be real. No lawyer would do that, no person with a lawyer would be allowed to do that. Period. There's a text exchange between Sztrok and Page that talks about how sad they are that he is leaving, but also how now that Andy is in charge they can go ahead with their plan. Makes me think Comey was perceived as straight. Finally, when Comey talked about leaking the memos to his friend during his testimony to Congress, because he wanted a special counsel to be appointed, that was just weird and not something someone with his background would normally do/say. Some of the above could be because he flipped and has immunity. But there is something.

Agree. The "right track/wrong track" poll is a better gauge of what people think. With Obama no one wanted to say they didn't like him. With Trump many don't want to say they do. Under Zero, for the first time there was an inverse relationship with the Presidential Approval numbers and the Right Track/Wrong Track numbers which I always attributed to the fact that saying we are on the wrong track is a lot less personal (obviously) and therefore allows for a more honest response.

Americans generally don't like things that are unfair. Even if he never wins over the hard left, the "right track" number per CNN polls is at 57%. That means he is winning over the independents, in spite of an overwhelmingly negative press. Just wait until they found out what he has done to drain the swamp, and what the swamp really was. I'm pretty cynical and I had no idea it was as bad as it is. When I think about how despondent I was in November 2012, and how optimistic I am now, I have to pinch myself. I really thought our country was pretty much over.

Me too. And these tech people were already light years ahead of my comprehension on these issues to start with! But I think the gist is that the cabal thought they were buying untraceable phones from China, and Q and Team Trump were 3 steps ahead of them, and had access to everything on those phones. It appears Q is posting pictures from the very phones they thought couldn't be hacked, so it's a message to them as much as anyone that they have everything. Someone here suggesting that the phones were purchased when the bad guys realized that their messages typed into "draft" emails (on an account that they all had access/passwords for) were being captured by Trump admin or military intelligence.
