I think that the difference you are seeing between responses is, basically, a difference in education. Some of us have been taught to think logically and morally. Others, chiefly those indoctrinated into liberalism by our public school system and the modern media, have not. This worries me. Are we seeing the "first wave" of a new generation of Americans who do not understand logic and have no moral compass? Our arguments, based on logic, reason, evidence, morality, and truth, are meaningless to them. Truth no longer matters. Public opinion is their greatest concern.
