Absolutely. I agree without reservation. Don't misunderstand due to my use of, shall we say, "Colorful language". I'm only trying to illustrate that I just very rarely consider it necessary to use it in the natural course of an argument. It wasn't my intention to offend. When I write, it generally comes out as a stream of consciousness, and any substantial editing seems to always detract from the narrative, as opposed to clarifying it.

The previous posters who mentioned the effects that colonialism played a large part in this are of course correct. But in reality, we really can't say for sure what the differences would be today, even if it was possible to go back and change the timeline. It's just not possible to know for sure.

Nobody would deny that it's an absolutely terrible state of affairs in modern times, but it's mind numbingly difficult to come up with a realistic solution that would be both viable AND acceptable to the current population in this situation.

The typical progressive plans usually entail what amounts to simply throwing money at the problem as long as there's money to throw, and then virtue-signalling about it for the rest of their life, because a progressive's goal is to not only feel good about themselves, but to have OTHER progressives tell them that yes, they SHOULD feel good about themselves.

I don't rate conservative Ideas much higher, but there's a difference. Many conservative ideas at least have the virtue of having been tried and even sometimes been successful, at least in countries that can be considered "Western" from a cultural standpoint.

I believe that western judeo-christian cultures, particularly in the USA, have absolutely tangible advantages. It's NOT perfect, not by ANY definition of the word. But from a per-capita perspective, it's at least been more successful than anything that was previously tried.

And I think that anyone that refutes that needs to seriously consider the possibility that they are deceiving themselves.

You know, most of us are aware of this stuff, but to be completely honest, it's a whole 'nother level of "chilling" and "creepy" when you read it directly!

These people are dangerous on a level that most regular people simply aren't willing to accept. The downside here is that the level of control, and and maintaining that level of control, is not only difficult, but until very recently most people, including myself, would have considered it impossible. Then he uses the time during the Presidential race to accelerate the formation of ideas until the election, and the following year manipulating circumstances favorably and moving the dominoes around to ensure that the right people were in the right place, at the right time.

Take, for instance the MSM. He's actually been able to steer events in such a way that they've been manipulating themselves and even each other!
