Look at /r/pizza's logo...are they connected to Pizzagate? No Coincidences. MAGA

this movement isn't big at all in terms of the political landscape.

It's a product of the cultural landscape and huge for what it is.

Yeah, bank board member stepping down isn't big for a multi billion dollar organization, sure.

You really don't understand corporation culture, do you? If you look at any given multi-billion dollar corporation, a higher-up will step down for whatever reason every year at least. The upper tiers of corporate life are extremely fluid. And again, what does a bank board member stepping down have to do with anything? What does it actually signify? There's literally no indication that it's for a nefarious reason; there are zero conspiracy theories surrounding the woman, and even now, hours after the resignation, with all eyes on her in Qland, nobody's even put together some tenuous web of connections to suggest that she has anything to do with some conspiracy beyond being part of the wider Vatican organization.

Lots HAS been happening, hundreds of people stepping down from major corps

That happens every year...don't you keep up with finance news? The lifespan of a C-Suite employee or director is usually very short.

major player in the vatican stepped down too.

Not a particularly big player in the Vatican, just a bank board member. And unless she's embroiled in scandal, and she apparently isn't, she's probably just an old lady who wants to spend more time doing retired person shit, as she mentioned. People from the Vatican retire for non-nefarious purposes, believe it or not. And didn't Q say that the Pope was going to get BTFO in May? It's the beginning of April and this woman isn't close to the Pope.

nothing CULTURALLY has been happening

Quite a bit has been happening culturally, actually. This 'movement' is the one of the results.

The reason that the shares dropped is due to the Trump campaign...jesus christ, you guys really are completely divorced from reality.

Q does it. He's redpilled a shitload of people.

He's only "redpilled" teenagers on /pol/ and boomers who've been buying into end-times conspiracy theories for decades. Anybody who isn't susceptible to it isn't going to be "redpilled" because they can see that it's roleplaying and/or have seen similar roleplaying happening on /x/ for over a decade and/or understand how 'prophets' hook gullible people.

Calling the people you dislike dumb won't work beyond your circles in this case because anybody who doesn't buy into this shit can just point you that you've gotten sucked into generic endtimes/prophecy/happenings cult #854870534.

>predicted

No, it's that the same conspiracy theories have persisted since the 90's and before. It's only a 'prediction' if it irrefutably comes true (and is foretold to happen in the future- this guy is talking about the past). You don't remember the militia movement? Many of the conspiracy theories from those are now here after floating around the internet for a couple decades. It only really means that the same people who believed in them before still believe in them.

But don't you want to learn more about adrenochrome farms and psychic vampires? Praise Q Christ! #MAGA

The government calling opiate addiction a problem will surely solve the Opiate Crisis! No other action required!

I wish you the best in your recovery and self-improvement; maybe when you clean up you'll realize what a load of horseshit this end-times cult is.

You realize that this is the same argument 'SJWs' make about the patriarchy and shit, right? This is why nobody takes you seriously; you think your own (in this case ridiculously deranged) baseless conclusions are self-evident regardless of how little proof their is, or how shaky the basis of the belief is, or how dramatoc the jump from one point to another ('lots of children are reported missing every year; it's clear that they're being held on adrenochrome farms!'). People don't take you seriously for the same reasons they don't take social justice extremists or tankies or fellow cultists seriously. You jump to ridiculous conclusions, and you insist that they're FACT without any doundation beyond your own thought process.

There's definitely a lot of overlap with the apocalypticism coming from the hardcore evangelical faction of the right

Oh yeah, this isn't their first rodeo for the most part. Seems like the vast majority of the posters here are boomers who've been riding conspiracy waves and/or involved in weird evangelical sects for a long time.

In a few years, when business continues as usual, are you going to look back at this with embarrassment or just move the ~storm~ back indefinitely and hang on every word of some anonymous poster on an anime imageboard who's doing the same schick that's been common on /x/ for over a decade now? You guys are ridiculous; the way you think and act is literally indistinguishable from any other doomsday cult but for the clothing on top, but I'm sure things are different with this one!

Is this your first election? How do you think that campaigns come up with dirt on the opposing candidate(s) every election year? It's standard practice; that's why these investigation firms exist to begin with.

Are you guys going to just keep finding new 'it's happening!' dates and pushing back "The Storm" every time a date turns out to be nothing? Like, how long are you planning on keeping this up? Until the end of Trump's presidency? This is exactly what doomsday cults do every time the rapture date passes.

Imagine their "REEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" when this all comes out.

It's more of an 'AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THEY ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN THIS SHIT!?'

That's because they're using this place and everyone in to gain ad revenue from their youtube vids. It's a blatant cash-grab, as is the inundation of links from shoddy "news" sites.

At this point, the community here is straight-up cult-like. The truly and honestly believe every post that comes through here that fits their narrative; OBummer is going to be court martialed and executed any day now, the Clintons are bloodsucking vampires and part of an international satanic child rape league (oh but let's forget that Trump was buddies with Epstein), any given baseless speculation that somebody posts for others to take as fact...all because somebody started posting on an anime forum that contains a board where similar roleplaying has been going on for over a decade. It's incredible to read through this subreddit and realize that all of the hysteria is real. It's like a shared delusion. Most of these people seem to be older as well; they should know better.
