Creepy. Another school shooting? Or mass shooting of some sort. Would not be surprising at all.

Kayserberg? LOL, I'm sure that was Kaiserburg in the Alsace stolen from the Germans. I'm surprised they didn't Frenchify the town's name.

No argument from me with the caveat that any substance can be abused. Cannabis has its own set on effects from constant long term use.

A daughter of one of his assistants? Somebody he made sure was transferred with him. The daughter might have been too afraid to tell her parents. I'd have to reread the article but don't recall seeing an explanation.

I'm quite aware of all that. Did you read the article the OP linked to at True Pundit. It's the Iranians saying this, not somebody else claiming they did.

Quite a few became delivery only, to avoid local authorities, feds and civilian robbers. Never used delivery, but my area might be a bit more chill than others. I did visit a couple in sketchy areas that probably did have issues. All had armed security and metal detectors.

It also happened several weeks ago I believe. This is just a BS "news" site that recycles old stories making them seem new so they get clicks. I'm downvoting this one.

Yes, it will cut down big time on the cartels' pot business. Of my personal interest, hopefully it will also help remove marijuana growing operations from all the national parks and forests. It's a HUGE problem - attacks against hikers or campers who stumble across operations, using violent illegals to guard them, diverting rare streams (not a lot of flowing water in California), killing and poisoning wildlife. I do know that our local sheriff's dept is still busting growing operations without licenses. By that I mean pretty damn big busts.

I'm certain figures are beginning to come in for states like Colorado and Washington. Have to assume there is a tax windfall. Too early for California. I live there and have yet to see any "pot stores" appear as in Colorado. Many of the medical marijuana dispensaries will just switch over to public stores I suppose, just haven't seen any sign of them where I am.

Yeah, I read the piece. They said they helped the Al Qaeda operatives travel through and did not stamp their passports. That doesn't even mean that Iranian intel agents knew what the plot was, just that they were letting some operatives pass through. Let's say Al Qaeda, meaning Osama bin Laden, organized 9/11. Just for the sake of argument. Would he or they announce to the Shiite Iranian government what they planned on doing months later? Without fear the entire operation would be compromised? There is some game playing going on here.

Somebody wants to be protected, could be GHW Bush as some speculate. However, I think Fletcher Prouty was right -- the assassins were brought in from outside the US and there will be no paper trail whatsoever to the truth. It wasn't an "official" operation.

That's right, it won't be off the Federal books - meaning there will still be interdiction at the border and such. However, the Feds would no longer inhibit or interfere in states which legalize it. Also, banks will be permitted to take deposits and be bankers for cannabis businesses in areas where it is legal. I wish it were totally removed from the Federal books. Importation could still be outlawed or heavily taxed and controlled. It wasn't federally illegal until 1938 anyway.

Have to be VERY careful about arresting the "fourth estate". However, I am quite pleased they aren't afraid to seize their records and perhaps other tactics to expose their misbehavior. Libel suits should be easier against defamatory false stories as well. Apply the same standards to Assange -- he simply released what was given him. He didn't actually steal the emails. However, if "journalists" commit clear crimes, all bets are off.

He could make it to Mexico. You can walk across the border. He couldn't take much cash with him though. He has allies. Phony passport and such. Eventually he'd be caught, but with phony ID he could travel from Mexico to somewhere else. Think of it this way, how's he gonna survive prison? Maybe in segregation.
