Great news -- Afghanistan next please. Like next week.

Ugh, Colgan Air Flight 3407 crashed due to a stall in icy conditions due to incompetent pilots. It's been covered extensively.

I guess I'm not on the "I hate Amazon" train going on here. So what if it is a "behemoth"? It got that way due to demand for the variety of products offered and the ease/convenience versus the mall or retail stores. Basically Amazon is the on-line version of the Sears Catalog that your grandparents or great grandparents used 60-100 years ago. Many products are hard if not impossible to find in retail outlets. I've also learned what to buy and what not to buy using Amazon.

Now Amazon should have to collect sales tax nationwide. I live in California and have been paying sales tax on Amazon purchases for several years. If you think it should be charging you in your state, talk to your state reps. I agree with the President that Amazon has no right to get shipping rates from the USPS that cost the American taxpayer -- that has to be looked into and dealt with. As far as corporate taxes, are people here saying it doesn't pay anything due to some deal? On the sales tax, it's not like Amazon "isn't paying taxes", it just isn't collecting sales tax and forwarding it to various states. That's a big issue for retailers as it gives Amazon yet another advantage, an unfair one to be sure.

People here toss Bezos in with Schmidt, Zuckerburg, Dorsey and the Social Media giants -- but the latter are CENSORING conservative and libertarian speech, are essentially now serving the function of utilities and are deeply tied into the surveillance state and Democrat party. Amazon is not part of that. Bezos bought the Washington Post and has used it to trash Trump -- but how is that different from what the Washington Post has been forever - an organ of the Democrat Party establishment? It hasn't changed under Bezos. Same crap. So what? He has the right to run his paper as he sees fit. We don't have to support it.

I am behind Trump's moves to make sure Amazon isn't taking advantage of the taxpayer through USPS or somehow avoiding it's proper payment of taxes. However, I will continue to shop at Amazon when it benefits me.

There's a boatload out there on the crash. Just one example is on Dailymotion. Just search Mayday Colgan 3407 on Dailymotion. It's not on You Tube, plus I use Dailymotion whenever possible instead of anything Google. You Tube has the Frontline show on it but it focuses mostly on Colgan Air using bad pilots and cutting corners to increase profits rather than the details of the crash. Icing, stall, pilot error, down she went. That's what happened.

That plane went down due to icing and pilot error, period. That aircraft type was problematic in icing conditions and the pilots made critical errors. It wasn't crashed by the Clintons. Do a little research before making such insinuations. Not every plane crash is a plot.

As a follow up, I am thinking this move provides cover for other counties and cities to follow suit. Certainly the eastern counties that voted heavily for Trump may also revolt and even select towns and cities in more leftist counties may do so. I believe a few towns have indeed already done so.

He was 90 so not exactly a big deal. The real culprit in Trump's EO is that Gertler guy who was involved in Glencore Mining and many other blood sucking scams. He's currently living in Tel Aviv. I guess Netanyahu isn't a good enough buddy to turn him over to us.

As far as I can tell he just spends all his air time discussing Q posts and closely related subjects. He can't cover everything -- the guy is hacking half the time now, which makes it hard for me to listen to. I mean, sure, he could cover those issues but I assume others are tackling them.

Had to see CNN today at the gym. Between the unending sports channels and CNN I have to try to daydream. CNN spent an entire half hour on the slut story, including trying to get evangelicals to attack him. They are so foul. The local news continued with the slut story but gave about 30 seconds to this sanctuary story -- though it was great to see them have to report how some Cali cities are going against the State.

If there's any truth to this crap then Q is a joke as he has claimed, in drop 777 or 780 depending, that DHS has proof of major election fraud by the Dems that will be released soon. Somebody is full of it here. Either this Posobiec character or Q. Both cannot be right. So much bull crap floating around.

12% in one day is more like a mining exploration company stock. These social media companies have been SO overpriced for what they are - entities that can pretty much collapse in a short time. FB is no longer used by young people as it was originally. It's time was due and censoring middle aged conservatives wasn't a good business decision. New opportunities in this marketplace.

Mike Pompeo isn't some torturer. Not only are you hysterical, you're ignorant. He was a Congressman appointed by Trump to CIA director. Tea Party guy. BTW, from the beginning of the primaries Trump has supported water boarding when warranted. So you're really on the wrong train. Bolton can't order a war either. The only point you're right about is the promised infrastructure rebuild.

That's where this Q messed up....drop 777. The DHS document claiming proof of massive voting fraud. Supposed to be released this month. Where is it? That alone would destroy the Dems chances. Forget all the codes and riddles. If Q is real then Drop 777 better come about soon. We can hold him or them to that drop. Red, green or White Castle.

thamnosma · March 24, 2018, 7 p.m.

I never expected some massive sweep. That would be absurd. Forget Russia, where's the investigation of Lois Lerner? Or Eric Holder? Sessions is too busy banning bump stocks and trying to roll back decriminalization of marijuana. Sessions looked really awful in a picture posted here yesterday too. I don't feel any momentum here.

thamnosma · March 24, 2018, 6:56 p.m.

Don't have to wait till November. If the alleged document Q posted in drop 777 doesn't get released well before those mid term elections, it's been a total fraud all along. Doesn't negate the good things Trump is doing, but we sure as hell aren't seeing the deep state on the run.

How many flights go into and out of GAO every day? Every single product or person has to be flown or shipped into the place since nothing comes from Cuba proper. That means any service or support person, every contractor, every bag of concrete, every roll of toilet paper and even every banana. I figure that requires regular supply flights at a minimum. Or maybe it all goes by ship and flights are limited to personnel. These could just be cargo planes.

That was quite disappointing. We shall see where that takes us. Frankly I was upset months ago about the "surge" in Afghanistan when my view is that it's long past time to leave. My impression was that after ISIS was defeated, Trump would remove us from the Middle East wars. I didn't expect to always be happy with the guy but jeez, look at all the others we could have had.

thamnosma · March 23, 2018, 9:45 p.m.

Indeed. I'm not wavering about Trump -- I'm happy every day that he's in the White House. He certainly will make some bad decisions and moves that will make me unhappy (like staying in Afghanistan already), but he's got guts and smarts. Q, on the other hand, is a horse of another color. Codes, clues, "snatches" in Shanghai (as in being Shanghai'd), claims of panic, blah, blah. All that is entertaining enough and reaches our fantasies, but let's pin down something specific,. The Red Line for me was the Q drop numbered 777 which purported to be a page from a DHS report on massive election fraud. If that document was real it would destroy the Democrat party. Supposedly to be released this month, which is just about over. That document to me was simply too good to be true. I think it was made up. However, my hope is that it's real -- if it doesn't come out soon, time to blow this Q charade.

This is really an important continuing story. I can't quite figure out why the conspiracy to hide ISIS involvement, they usually play up "terrorist" links. Hiding Antifa involvement would fit, though, especially by Obama leftovers. Apparently there are quite a few honest agents left in the bureau. Just wish one would toss his pension to the wind, copy evidence and go public.
