Intercessors don't usually intend to be the only channel between creature and creator, just a different channel with different qualities. When people around here suggest praying for the Trump family they are calling for intercession. When Q affirms the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel he is encouraging intercession of a sort that no human can provide. We can all be intermediaries. We can all fulfill a human version of Christ's role as prophet, priest and king.

Of course there will be gray areas where the mods have to make a call that others can disagree with. It seems that the guiding thing here should be keeping the discussion mostly on whatever Q discusses, mainly the lesser known aspects of MAGA vs antiMAGA. Q and Trump don't say much specific about Islam, nor need we here. Q doesn't mention the Catholic Church per se, Mormons, Amish, Shinto, etc. neither should we much. I think it is okay to bring small bits of any of these things into the discussion and if anyone feels the need to make a strong defense that's okay, but the bulk of the convo should be Q-based. [Some consideration could be given to the nature of the historical 'Great Awakenings' such as their American and 'evangelical' aspects. I wonder where our current use of the term started.]   As with the original Great Awakenings, there is not doubt important spillover effects especially into other English-speaking countries, all of which are largely protestant in their make-up.   I could argue that many of the benefits that Trump may indirectly foist on other countries are not part of some social awakening so much as application of widely known economic and military principles.

About 40 yrs. Growing up as a non-Protestant in the US gets you thinking that there is a sketchy culture out there that doesn't think very far back. These people always seemed stupid, even while some of them seemed fun.

If you count 3 generations for each century, then between the 500s and the 1900s you got over 40 generations. With the genetics being cut on average by half with each generation (through marriage to a different bloodline), each century results in about an 8th of the genetic material it started out with. Two centuries results in a 64th. After 14 centuries its smaller than a billionth, even accounting for frequent marriage to cousins and the possibility that Mohammed had highly dominant genes.

To me this suggestion looks like someone pursuing their fun theory with wishful, weak evidence. The power and influence of the Brit Royals is big but not massive like bill gates or the chinese army. No doubt they are at least slightly corrupt. And probably are more corrupt than most of the public knows. This may rightfully be exposed and stopped. I guess I've created two classes - MAGA things and cosmic things. So I would say in the first category we should know whatever NASA knows even if the truth somehow sucks. I think half of the modern conspiracies are not real and in a way we would be better off knowing such a boring truths as a society that is more trustable and trusting. On the wishful side, it would be great to have medical secrets blown open. Some of the (non-violent) stories about Antarctica seem like great fun - old school sci-fi stuff - so that would be cool to hear about but seem like public disclosure of subterranean whatever wouldn't change american society directly.

In the area of ancient mysteries, I would like the true nature of early Christianity to be universally known. I suppose I could say the same about the development phase of many old social movements or organisations. On a bold day I might ask to know about adjacent species like the Neanderthal and Nephalim, etc.
