1-1 on Vs. isn't even when shit gets real in the arcade port. At least go by 4-1 when a Paratroopa and pit is placed where your muscle memory spot to land from a running jump lays. I did get a kick out of watching someone stream the game, the streamer only recalling the game as a kid. I laughed at every "gotcha" moment that he landed

It's not wrong. The DX port has some nice additions and tweaks. If only the screen crunch didn't effect so much of the jumps, especially the Lost Levels' portion (which lost some of its added appeal in the port with the lack of wind and 9~D)
