Well for an article that may well be printed, I like the 8.5x11" size best and Georgia font is the closest I have to abcu's font. This one was 536 words with another 200 words in the endnotes. Didn't try printing it, but the font size looks readable.
Many of the articles submitted are considerably longer, 7000-10,000 words.
I'd like graphicanon's opinions. They have excellent graphical sense.
Tried 2 columns (yeah I know, it's unbalanced, to match the unbalanced endnotes). Opinions on readability compared with 1 column?

Use of imagery recommended within articles.
For print, normal letter size recommended, but playing around is also good, might find a new better way.
For website, articles can be chronicled as pdfs/jpgs/etc for easier online sharing, but lengthy articles are less likely to be read on a typical SM share.

Those who click on article link (abcu website) are more likely to read thru entire article than an article image on SM

Sure. What do you suggest? I did it in gimp, with a bit of manual fussing. Didn't bother to put the endnotes into the same font as the body but smaller, but that would be the recommended procedure. Too many fonts = bad. Just the right fonts = good.
There are newsletter and desktop publishing apps that are good at this kind of stuff but i haven't tried them. Kind of have a love/hate relationship with regular word processors that don't handle precise flexible spacing the way we like.

Got some strong reactions to posting the text on QR this morning. A few thought it was too emotional(?) showed pic of woman. One anon (one of ours I think) got tears in NB.
I can't help it. Sometimes I wake up knowing I'm going to write something. Like we say here, don't procrastinate. I follow those promptings of intuition. Sometimes they're bad, sometimes good.
I agree, long texts not being reader friendly within SM, less likely to be read. Memes best for sharing+fast info. Felt these could be used for print, amongst others
This is a newletter I can produce weekly or monthly containing. All the works from that period.
This can be emailed to users or just available for download or viewing.
The images are just template images. The text content will move to work around any images (automatically) used in the newsletter.
The content will auto overflow to the next section. This can be set up like a news paper. Where Story continues on page X.
All I have to do is copy and past the text in and then add the images.
150-200 words seems awfully short for a meaningful article. Would be fine for announcing a community BBQ or HS swim meet. Have to see what happens when a longer article is inserted.
If that format is selected, we can also solicit short pieces from writers.
Editors can also trim down longer articles into excerpts or abstracts.

For the future: news reports rely on sources of information. One of the best resources a reporter/writer can have is 1st hand source (person, point of contact), ie whistleblowers, leads, etc.

Yes, Part of our END goal is to be able to produce our own sources. We just need a few more anons here.

These yt banner sizes are diff sizes, 1546x423 , and 1700x450.
Should experiment with diff banner sizing to see what is best fit.
See 1st image. If we do it by these guidelines, these graphics should do the trick. As in parts of the graphic and text wont be cut off if the medium changes, such as mobile to tv. (This is why these banners have a logo tiny in the middle of a large white background). Let me know if it fits. It's still in 2560x1440px, but the images in center are much smaller so that it suits the recommended guidelines for yt banner.

No other sauce. I'm reading that some materials that are public domain in the US might not be so in foreign countries. This is most likely why it got copystriked, either it is falsely copystriked or the company is claiming rights bec they are in a foreign country with the copyrights still to it.

This is who is copy striking, most likely because such organizations try to copy strike and make money off of some1 elses videos ad revenues.
We can either take the video down and place a diff music in background (easiest method) or fight it and see if they can provide proof of ownership to music rights in foreign countries. Because within the US this song is deemed for public domain use no copyrights.

I believe youtube has their own copyright free music available to youtube creators. You can upload the video with muted background music and then place a free song provided from YouTube?
What this shows is that even if a song is deemed public domain it may still be copyright striked from foreing entities. I don't know how it works exactly but am learning.
