This is why I lend at least some credence to the theory that it wasn’t Soyjack Party that took down 4Chan, but rather a government agency. They tried to control the narrative via shills, and that didn’t work, so they shut it down (for real this time).

Apparently /qa/ was occupied by soyjack posters, /qa/ was subsequently banned, they made this soyjack party chansite and had a grudge, and a person who posted their explanation there and appears to have been a user there took advantage of vulnerabilities of 4chan (because the website's infrastructure has basically been untouched since m00t left and it was spaghetti code even then), got full control, leaked a lot of admin/mod/janny details and logs and lot of the flaws of the site, to the point that unless they do some serious backend work it'll be trivial to take 4chan down again. This seems to be the current consensus anyway.
if you go on twitter, search 4chan from the date it occured, you can see tons of AI generated coherent messaging. a day or two later that same botted messaging get churned into youtube videos for mainsteam consumption. if you have been touring the migrant chans, you can also see artifical support (especially on the sharty) for this narrative. it matches the usual psyslop patterns.
picrel is an example of the artifical/botted messaging signal intended to frame the event. there were many of these with slight changes and syntax from many accounts the day after this happenend.
