The graphs contradict each other. In one, the W. Texas boom was bigger. In the other, the Beirut boom dwarfs it.
More than that, the stocks of AN in Beirut were claimed to be 6 years old. AN is hygroscopic and loses about half its potency in the first six months. After 6 years, it would just be a jelly mess on the floor. SOMETHING went big-bada-boom there, but it wasn't 6 year old AN stored in a port warehouse.
Either that AN was FRESH (we've been told that it was not), or it wasn't AN that went off at all.
