The officer witnessed no violent behavior, no agitated mental state* and heard no suicidal comments. ALL that was true was that Brad was consuming alcohol ON HIS OWN PROPERTY. He was not in possession of a firearm at the time (although that would have been legal as well).

*It would be strange indeed for a man to have an argument with his wife and also maintain his composure. Bradley was attempting to give his version of events when tackled FOR NO APPARENT REASON. As Brad stated he had "done nothing". The officer had called him to the edge of his property under the guise of speaking with him and Brad was attempting to hold a civil conversation when he was attacked. The officers know damned well that he had NO OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLY with their commands and had not even been able to determine who was speaking.

This is pretty fucked up.
