I've been on 4chan and /b/ for most of my adult life and know how fake shit works.

 

Has he just compiled previously released but verified shit? IE Clinton emails are each posted with POP keys so each person reading them can verify that each and every email is authentic for themselves. What has he done in regards to verification? Recently-discovered emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop have revived concerns about how his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, may have abused his office to enrich members of his family. Some also suspect the money found its way back to Biden.

 

In the recent book, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite, Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer documented how Biden’s friends and relatives traded on his name to make money β€” often overseas.

 

Schweizer noted:

 

The Biden family partners are often foreign governments, where the deals occur in the dark corners of international finance like Kazakhstan, China, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Ukraine, and Russia. Some deals have even involved U.S. taxpayer money. The cast of characters includes sketchy companies, violent convicted felons, foreign oligarchs, and other people who typically expect favors in return.

The Biden family’s apparent self-enrichment depends on Joe Biden’s political influence and involves no less than five family members: Joe’s son Hunter, daughter Ashley, brothers James and Frank, and sister Valerie.

The Bidens leverage political power not only for generating deals, but also for the opportunities to quietly develop the financial resources of wealthy friends for the benefit of the family. Friends that help the Bidens can count on Joe to grant them governmental favors.

 

In 2014, Hunter Biden took a lucrative board position with Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company widely viewed as corrupt.

 

Journalists asked the Obama White House and the State Department about the curious arrangement, which posed an obvious conflict of interest, as then-Vice President Biden was leading President Barack Obama’s diplomatic efforts toward Ukraine.

 

The Obama administration stonewalled: β€œI would refer you to the Vice President’s office,” press secretary Jay Carney said.

 

But inside the administration, career civil servants raised the alarm. One State Department official, George Kent, told the House Intelligence Committee last year that he had brought up Burisma with the Vice President’s office. Nothing was done.

 

β€œThere has been no indication of conflict of interest in Ukraine or anywhere else, period,” Biden told reporters last year.

 

But that was untrue. A Senate investigation found that Biden was specifically warned about Hunter Biden and Burisma in 2015.

 

Biden did nothing to resolve the conflict of interest.

 

Instead, he continued leading U.S. foreign policy in Ukraine.

 

In 2018, Biden infamously boasted that he had forced Ukraine to fire its chief prosecutor by threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees β€” which the country, being invaded by Russia, desperately needed.

 

Democrats argue that the prosecutor was corrupt. He might well have been, but he also had jurisdiction over investigations into Burisma β€” a clear conflict for Biden.

 

When he was asked last summer about β€œallegations that his younger brother James and his son Hunter have sought to use his political connections to enrich themselves,” Biden declared: β€œI have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”

 

But the recent Hunter Biden emails suggest otherwise.

 

One email, from Burisma adviser Vadim Pozharskyi, told Hunter Biden and his business partners that he expected them to provide β€œdeliverables,” and that the β€œlist of deliverables” included β€œthe ultimate purpose” of stopping β€œcases/pursuits.”

 

In another email. Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for a meeting in April 2015 with Vice President Joe Biden himself.

 

Breitbart News also uncovered emails showing that Hunter Biden and his associates β€œused their access to the Obama-Biden administration to arrange private meetings for potential foreign clients and investors at the highest levels in the White House.” These foreign clients included senior Chinese executives and members of the Chinese Communist Party. And a photo has emerged showing Joe and Hunter Biden meeting an oligarch from Kazakhstan whom Hunter Biden was advising.

 

The New York Post also published an email revealing that Hunter Biden pursued business deals in China, such as one with China’s largest private energy company that he said would be β€œinteresting for me and my family.” In the email, Hunter Biden proposed dividing up shares in the new version, including 10% to be β€œheld by H for the big guy,” who was unnamed.

 

The question of how much Hunter Biden earned for linking foreign clients with Vice President Joe Biden is unknown. It is also unknown whether Joe Biden benefited financially from his son’s business ventures. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has alleged that Biden received β€œhalf” of what his family earned from opportunities that he helped arrange.

 

What is clear is that Joe Biden lied about knowing there was a conflict of interest; lied about never discussing his business interests with Hunter Biden and other relatives; and has failed to deny any of the allegations emerging from the emails.

 

Instead, Biden has cited the fact that social media companies have censored the story as evidence that it is false. Biden himself cited Obama-era intelligence officials who said they believed the emails were part of a β€œRussian disinformation” campaign β€” though they also said the emails could be β€œgenuine” and that they had no β€œevidence” that Russia was involved.

 

In 2016, the Obama administration launched an investigation of then-candidate Donald Trump on the bases of the phony Russia dossier. They justified it by saying they needed to know if a potential president was compromised by a foreign power. Biden himself was briefed on the investigation.

 

In 2020, there is solid evidence that Joe Biden’s relatives have troubling foreign business interests that he facilitated. By his own standard, Biden would be disqualified from holding the highest office.

U.S. imposes new Iran sanctions that may spook European banks

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States on Thursday slapped fresh sanctions on Iran’s financial sector, targeting 18 banks in an effort to further choke off Iranian revenues as Washington ramps up pressure on Tehran weeks ahead of the U.S. election.

 

The move freezes any U.S. assets of those blacklisted and generally bars Americans from dealing with them, while extending secondary sanctions to those who do business with them. This means foreign banks risk losing access to the U.S. market and financial system.

 

The Treasury Department said in a statement the prohibitions did not apply to transactions to sell agricultural commodities, food, medicine or medical devices to Iran, saying it understood the need for humanitarian goods.

 

However, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif accused the United States of targeting Iran’s ability to pay for basic necessities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

β€œU.S. regime wants to blow up our remaining channels to pay for food & medicine,” Zarif said on Twitter. β€œConspiring to starve a population is a crime against humanity.”

 

Iranian Central Bank governor Abdolnaser Hemmati dismissed the sanctions as political propaganda and played down their practical impact.

 

β€œRather than having any economic effect, the American move is for U.S. domestic propaganda and political purposes, and shows the falsity of the human rights and humanitarian claims of U.S. leaders,” Hemmati said in a statement.

 

Analysts said the secondary sanctions may further deter European and other foreign banks from working with Iran, even for permitted humanitarian transactions.

 

β€œIt’s like a punch in the face to the Europeans, who have gone out of their way to indicate to the Americans that they view it as being extremely threatening to humanitarian assistance or humanitarian trade going to Iran,” said Elizabeth Rosenberg of the Center for a New American Security think tank.

 

β€œThey also want … to make it very difficult for any future president to be able to unwind these measures and engage in nuclear diplomacy,” Rosenberg added, alluding to the possibility that Democratic candidate Joe Biden could defeat Republican President Donald Trump in the Nov. 3 U.S. election.

 

Biden, who was vice president when the Obama administration negotiated the nuclear accord, has said he would rejoin the deal if Iran first resumed compliance with it.

 

Tensions between Washington and Tehran have soared since Trump unilaterally withdrew in 2018 from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal struck by his predecessor and began re-imposing U.S. sanctions that had been eased under the accord.

 

The sanctions Trump has reinstated target everything from oil sales to shipping and financial activities. While they exempt food, medicine and other humanitarian supplies, many foreign banks are already deterred from doing business with the Islamic Republic - including for humanitarian deals.

 

Washington’s latest move targeted what the Treasury described as 18 major Iranian banks, which were designated under authorities including U.S. Executive Order 13902, which allows the Treasury Department to target entire sectors of the Iranian economy.

Report: Senate Democrats To Boycott Amy Coney Barrett Committee Vote

 

Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee will reportedly boycott Thursday’s committee vote on Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.

 

Democrats will fill their seats in the committee with life-sized posters of people who could be hurt if the Affordable Care Act were to be repealed, according to HuffPost. Democrats have been saying if Barrett is confirmed, she will be the one to give the deciding vote on repealing the Affordable Care Act.

 

Instead of sitting in the committee room during voting, Democrats will reportedly be giving two speeches. One speech will reportedly be given on the steps of the Supreme Court and another will be given on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

 

In early October, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Democrats will not β€œsupply quorum” for votes in the Senate as a way to try and block the confirmation of Barrett before the election.

 

A quorum is the minimum number of members present either in a committee or the entire Senate to hold votes, Fox News reported. The quorum in the Senate is 51 members. There are 22 members on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is in charge of the confirmation process, and nine members are required for a quorum in the committee, including at least two from the minority party, according to Fox News.

Under the program, randomly selected families from a vetted group of low-income residents will receive at least a few hundred dollars on a recurring basis along with tools helping to advise them on their finances. Department of Justice Releases Report on its Efforts to Disrupt, Dismantle, and Destroy MS-13

Department Has Prosecuted More than 700 MS-13 Gang Members Over the Last Four Years; Approximately 74 Percent of these Defendants Were Unlawfully Present in the United States

Today, the Department of Justice released β€œFull Scale Response: A Report on the Department’s Efforts to Combat MS-13 from 2016-2020.” This report describes the Department’s work to dismantle La Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) in the United States and abroad. The data show that since 2016, the Department has prosecuted approximately 749 MS-13 gang members. So far, more than 500 of these MS-13 gang members have been convicted, including 37 who received life sentences. Department prosecutors are using more than 20 federal criminal statutes to prosecute MS-13 members, including, for the first time, filing terrorism charges against MS-13’s leadership. The data also show that for decades MS-13 has exploited weaknesses in border enforcement policies, as approximately 74 percent of the defendants prosecuted were unlawfully present in the United States. The report also describes the Department’s efforts to combat MS-13 internationally through increased partnerships with law enforcement in Mexico and Central America. Through international cooperation, hundreds of MS-13 members have been arrested abroad and more than 50 MS-13 members have been extradited to the United States.

Steele Dossier Source Comes Out Of Hiding, Says He Stands By Trump β€˜Pee Tape’ Allegation

 

Igor Danchenko has given his first interviews since being identified in July as the primary source for the Steele dossier.

Danchenko, a Russian analyst, said in one interview that he stands by his work on the dossier. He is also denying allegations that he was a Russian spy.

The interviews do not address several clear errors in the dossier, which the FBI used to obtain warrants to surveil Carter Page.

Danchenko’s associates have set up a fundraising campaign touting him as a β€œTrump-Russia whistleblower.”

 

Igor Danchenko, a Russian analyst who served as the primary source for former British spy Christopher Steele, has come out of hiding to discuss his work on the controversial document.

 

Though key claims in the dossier have been debunked, Danchenko defended his dirt-digging effort in interviews with The Guardian and The New York Times published Wednesday. He has also set up a fundraising campaign in which he touts himself as a β€œTrump-Russia whistleblower.”

 

β€œI stand by it,” Danchenko told the Guardian of the work he did for Steele.

 

He also said he stands behind the dossier’s most salacious claim β€” that the Russian government recorded Donald Trump with prostitutes urinating on each other in a hotel room in Moscow in 2013.

 

β€œI got it right,” he told the Guardian of the so-called β€œpee tape” allegation.

 

Danchenko did acknowledge in his interview with The Times that information he fed to Steele could have been inaccurate.

 

β€œEven raw intelligence from credible sources, I take it with a grain of salt,” he told the newspaper.

Gov. Doug Ducey signed an order in October 2016 that seeks to limit painkiller prescriptions to seven days in a bid to restrict access to highly addictive drugs.

 

Last month Gov. Doug Ducey declared a public health emergency to address Arizona’s opioid epidemic. Ducey has teamed up with Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery and Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk in paying lip service to this real crisis.

 

The phrase β€œlip service” is the most generous term that can be used considering that Ducey, Montgomery and Polk accepted money from opioid maker Insys Therapeutics.

 

Insys Therapeutics is a Chandler-based pharmaceutical company whose sole current source of revenue is from the sale of opioids.

Six of Insys Therapeutics executives and managers have been indicted, including CEO Michael Babich, on accusations of illegal kickback payment schemes to doctors who improperly wrote prescriptions for opioids.

Polk was 'proud' to get Insys's $500k

Dr. Steve Fanta, a Scottsdale doctor who took lucrative payments from Insys, a Chandler drug company, has agreed to an interim order that prevents him from practicing medicine.

 

Last year, Insys Therapeutics gave $500,000 to the anti-marijuana legalization campaign headed by Polk, supported by Montgomery and fund-raised by Ducey. Here is what County Attorney Polk had to say about the money her campaign received from Insys:

 

β€œOur campaign has received a generous donation from a company in Arizona that produces prescription painkillers. I’m proud to receive that money.”

 

So far, Insys’s investment may be paying off. Insys executives seem to be getting arrested and criminally charged everywhere other than their home state β€” Arizona.
