The delta variant was caused by "antibody-dependent enhancement" (ADE)
The simplest explanation for why the delta variant has become the most dominant variant is due to "antibody-dependent enhancement" (ADE), which was caused by encouraging universal vaccination as opposed to targeted vaccination of high-risk groups in the middle of a pandemic.
In fact, several expert virologists raised red flags predicting this very outcome months ago. ADE occurs when non-neutralizing or poorly neutralizing antibodies (in response to a vaccine) increases the subsequent viral entry into cells thereby intensifying the infection. ADE was first reported in the 1980s in feline infectious peritonitis virus (FIPV), an alphacoronavirus highly prevalent among wild and domestic cats. It was reported that non-neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) or diluted neutralizing mAbs against FIPV spike (S) protein showed enhancement of virus infection. Considering that antibodies against S protein of coronaviruses have been previously shown to play a role in the development of ADE, its disingenuous for the CDC and Fauci to act like this COVID vaccine failure is some sorta mystery.
In the words of Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche (July 26, 2021) who accurately predicted the rise of the current “delta” variant: “
"Continued mass vaccination will only lead to a further increase in morbidity and hospitalization rates, which will subsequently culminate in a huge case fatality wave when expansion of more infectious, vaccine-resistant variants will explode. A rapid and substantial decrease in viral infectivity rates could be achieved by a short-term course of large-scale antiviral chemoprophylaxis (suitable candidates have already been identified) and adequate infection prevention measures while early treatment of symptomatically infected subjects and implementation of a healthy eating (including certain dietary supplements) and lifestyle (including exercise!) plan would further contribute to building herd immunity."
Its is clear to me that whether one is vaccinated or not, people should begin taking safe and effective chemoprophylaxis in anticipation of even more dangerous COVID variants.
