As mask mandate returns, delta variant now makes up 98% of state’s COVID cases

[de-facto] Gov. Jay Inslee announced a new statewide indoor mask mandate this week, set to take effect Aug. 23. While several factors played into that decision, the largest concern for health officials continues to be the highly contagious delta variant.

According to state Secretary of Health Dr. Umair Shah, an estimated 98% of Washington’s recent COVID-19 infections can be traced back to the variant strain, having doubled in prevalence every seven to 10 days since it first appeared.

“This is a game changer,” Dr. Shah cautioned during Wednesday’s press conference announcing the new mask directive. “Delta variant is here and we need to do whatever we can to slow things down.”

That’s seen Washington’s seven-day rolling average for COVID cases reach similar levels to what the state saw during the peak of last winter’s surge, currently sitting around an estimated 2,700 new cases per day. Hospitalizations have trended up in kind — at the peak of the winter surge, the state’s rolling daily average topped out around 115 per day. As of early August, Washington had reached 107 and has continued to climb since.

The hope is that by bringing back indoor masking rules, the state can slow this trend in time for more people to get vaccinated, which he points out is still “the long term solution.”

Judicial Watch announced today that it received an additional 2,440 pages of records related to the death of U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick which show major media representatives pressuring the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) of the District of Columbia over its conclusion that Officer Sicknick had died of natural causes.

On April 20, one day after Officer Sicknick’s autopsy results were released, CNN reporter Jen Christensen emailed the medical examiner’s office, asking “how someone could die of natural causes after a traumatic event.”

In an April 20 email to the medical examiner’s office, reporter Sarah Mimms of BuzzFeed News presses for “clarity” on the death determination: “I’m really pressing on clarity here not only because of the importance of this case but also because USCP and the Justice Department initially said that Officer Sicknick died due to injuries he sustained at the Capitol. [Emphasis in original] We want to be accurate, which may mean updating those original stories about how he died, if the ME [medical examiner] can clarify this key point.”

Judicial Watch obtained the documents in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the medical examiner’s office denied a February 16, 2021, FOIA request (Judicial Watch v. District of Columbia (No. 2021 CA 000875 B)).

“Every now and then, there are shifts in the world. These are moments that without hyperbole can be called game-changers. What we have been watching this last week in Afghanistan is most certainly one of these game-changing moments. Not since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union have we witnessed this big an alteration in the geopolitical landscape. These past seven days have seen the end of America as the world’s number one superpower and have left us in what now can be considered a Post-American Era.

I am not saying these words for shock power, nor am I in any way gloating. I am an Israeli with a deep love for the United States. There is no greater friend that my country has had in our 73 years of existence than the US, and there are many in America that I consider to be as close to me as family. That is why it is with great pain and sorrow that I write these words. But it needs to be said, and maybe it takes someone from the outside who can look at the situation objectively and who has access to news and media that isn’t driven by a party agenda.

What has taken place this last week in Afghanistan has shown the world that America under this present administration is, as one Chinese TV host put it, a “paper tiger”. It may look big and scary on the outside, but when an Islamist terrorist army came marching to Kabul, rather than standing up against it, the US military continued its pull out, abandoning its friends and allies and breaking its promises. Please understand that this is not a knock on the United States military. If US forces were allowed to give full vent to their power and skill, the Taliban would be reduced to smoldering ash heaps in hours. It is the finest, strongest military in the world. But even a small child can throw rocks at a great bear if the great bear is penned up in a cage.

What led to this situation? Not surprisingly, many fingers in Washington and in the press are pointing at the previous US president. But that is based on either ignorance or a willful distortion of the facts. It is true that the previous president did plan to pull troops out of Afghanistan, but it was going to be a measured withdrawal based on a deal that he had established between President Ashraf Ghani and the Taliban. Under the deal, Ghani would release 5000 prisoners to the Taliban. In return, the Taliban would not attack the Afghani forces or the US military. CDC Director Walensky: There is an “Increased Risk of Severe Disease Among Those Vaccinated Early”

The Biden Administration is now working overtime to get a THIRD Covid shot into the arms of Americans.

On Wednesday, the Biden Admin unveiled a plan for vaccine boosters starting in September.

Beginning September 20, Americans who received two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be eligible for a booster shot eight months after their last dose.

The idea of a booster shot is not sitting well with many people so like clockwork, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky used fear to convince people to get the third Covid shot.

Walensky on Wednesday said that people who received the Covid vaccine early on are at an increased risk for severe disease.

So all the do-gooders and rule followers who blindly lined up to get the experimental jab right away are now being told they have no protection so they MUST get the booster.

“We are seeing concerning evidence of waning vaccine effectiveness over time and against the Delta variant,” Walensky said.

Arrests of Convicted Sex Offender Migrants by Border Patrol Jump 171 Percent in 2021

Arrests of migrants with previous convictions for sexual offenses jumped 171 percent during the first 10 months of Fiscal Year 2021, according to a report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Agents apprehended 423 criminal aliens with convictions for sexual offenses as of July 31.

An Arrests of Individuals with Criminal Convictions report published by U.S. Customs and Border Protection reveals that Border Patrol agents arrested 423 migrants with previous convictions for sexual offenses. This is the highest year recorded during the six years included in the report.

The arrest of 423 migrants in 10 months represents an increase of 171 percent over the Fiscal Year 2020 entire year’s report of 156 arrests. And, the 2020 arrests are up from only 58 during Fiscal Year 2019.

CBP officials told Breitbart Texas on Thursday that the report includes migrants with convictions of sexual offenses both in the United States and in other countries. Many of these migrants were convicted of sexual offense crimes in the United States and were subsequently deported following the completion of court-ordered sentences. The report also does not distinguish between sexual offenses committed against adults or children.

Breitbart Texas reports extensively on the arrest of migrants with criminal histories that include sexual offenses. These reports also include the arrests of previously deported child sex offenders.

On August 18, Border Patrol agents in the Laredo Sector arrested multiple previously deported sex offenders, Breitbart reported. Those included two men arrested in the Laredo Sector with previous convictions for indecency with a child–sexual contact and sexual assault.

US to automatically wipe out over $5.8B in student loan debt

The Biden administration announced Thursday it will automatically erase student loan debt for more than 300,000 Americans with severe disabilities that leave them unable to earn significant incomes.

The move will wipe out more than $5.8 billion in debt, according to the Education Department, and it marks the start of a broader overhaul of a program that has been criticized for having overly burdensome rules.

“We’ve heard loud and clear from borrowers with disabilities and advocates about the need for this change and we are excited to follow through on it,” Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said in a statement.

The federal government offers student debt relief for people who are “totally and permanently disabled” and have limited incomes. But the current rules require them to submit documentation of their disability and undergo a three-year monitoring period to prove they’re earning little pay.

Tens of thousands of people have been dropped from the program and had their loans reinstated simply because they failed to submit proof of their earnings, however, and critics say the complex rules deter some from applying.

Advocates have pressed the Education Department to eliminate the monitoring period entirely and to provide automatic debt relief to people who the Social Security Administration already identifies as permanently disabled.

Under the new action, both demands will be met. Starting in September, the Education Department will start erasing student debt for 323,000 Americans identified in Social Security records as being permanently disabled.

Borrowers will be notified once they have been approved for relief. All of the loans are expected to be discharged by the end of the year.

The department also plans to eliminate the program’s three-year monitoring period, which was previously suspended during the pandemic. That change is expected to be cemented during a federal rulemaking process set to start in October, the agency said.

“This is going to be a smooth process for our borrowers,” Cardona said in a call with reporters. “They’re not going to have to be applying for it or getting bogged down by paperwork.”

While the mainstream media has largely ignored Trump’s Executive Order, the alternative media has been paying close attention. Many have noted the Executive Order is far more significant than what it appears to be on the surface. Rather than just freezing the financial resources of foreign citizens linked to the Russian sphere of influence, as it superficially appears to do, it is really targeted at members of the “Deep State” (aka Cabal or Illuminati) that have been involved in human trafficking, pedophilia and systemic corruption all over the planet.
