Prince Andrew pays settlement in Virginia Giuffre sex assault case

 

The Duke of York is paying the financial settlement to his accuser Virginia Giuffre and formally ending a civil case brought against him in the US, according to court documents.

"Stipulation of dismissal" papers have been filed which will bring an end to the sex assault case.

The amount agreed to be paid by Prince Andrew in the settlement last month has not been revealed.

But the court documents say each side will "bear her/his own costs and fees".

There has been speculation about how Prince Andrew might afford the settlement, which could cost millions of dollars.

There have been suggestions he could use funds from selling a ski chalet in Switzerland - but the sale has so far not been completed, according to

A statement from the Treasury, in response to a Freedom of Information request, has ruled out any public money being used to pay the settlement or legal fees.

There have been suggestions that the Queen could help to pay, using her private funds, but Buckingham Palace had declined to comment.

The latest court papers show the case can now be dismissed, in keeping with the terms reached between Prince Andrew and Ms Giuffre in February, which stopped the prospect of a courtroom battle in New York.

When the US district court judge Lewis Kaplan signs the order this high-profile legal claim will be completely ended.

The out-of-court settlement accepted no liability and Prince Andrew has always strongly rejected claims of wrongdoing.

But the prince agreed to pay an unspecified amount to Ms Giuffre and to her charity for victims' rights.

He also said he "never intended to malign Ms Giuffre's character" and he recognised she had "suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks".

The duke also pledged to "demonstrate his regret for his association" with the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In the wake of the claims, Prince Andrew lost his military titles and royal patronages as well as the use of the title His Royal Highness.

I wrote an important piece last week. Here is a response from one of the trucker supporters married to a banker.

 

"If the best run and most financed bank in the world has a bank run, they close the doors. Well, the entire banking system in Canada froze and the real reason Trudeau and Freeland did a 180 degree turn overnight was because they were told by the banks that unless Trudeau wanted to kill the entire economy of Canada, they had to cut out the stupid shit."

 

Yup. I was there in the trenchs and my sweet Beryl, teller at the CIBC, was shell shocked. She'd never seen that much money go out the door. I live in a very upper middle class/rich neighbourhood and people were walking in and demanding 20K or 50K and their USD. It was awesome and it scared the shit out of the banks. Accounts were being closed, investment accounts moved, RSPs transferred.

 

The truckers lit the fire, the bank run turned it into an inferno.

 

I wrote Bill back and asked if I could repost what he said.

 

Absolutely.

 

To add a bit of flavour. I wanted to pull USD from my USD account. The branch had to order the cash. Fair ball. But poor Beryl had to go four days with "Well, things are slow at the cash place." "Covid, they are short staffed."

 

I love Beryl. I had to tell her I would be "annoyed" if the cash did not get in next business day. It did. So I was able to tell Beryl I was delighted and would not have to parade in front of the bank with my sign, "Where's my money?"

 

She was relieved.

 

A lot of Canadians drained their accounts or closed them altogether. It was quiet but it was very, very, effective.

 

You can think you have all the power in the world but when you are wrong it can get expensive. Trudeau and Freeland didnโ€™t have the power they thought they had.

 

Wait until the world wakes up to the stupidity of the US and EU loading Russia up with sanctions. They just blew up the entire paper money system. It will destroy the Euro first, then the bond market and then the dollar. When you fire any weapon there is always blowback.

Mainstream Media working overtime to blame anything but the Covid-19 Vaccines on increase in Heart Attacks & Strokes

 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) quietly admitted back in October 2021 that the Covid-19 vaccines cause heart inflammation, heart attack and stroke.

 

Specifically, the CDC admitted that the vaccines cause myocarditis and myopericarditis. The former occurs when the heart muscle โ€“ also known as the myocardium โ€“ becomes inflamed. The latter occurs when both the heart muscle and the sac that surrounds the heart โ€“ known as the pericardium โ€“ become inflamed.

 

Myocarditis can weaken the heartโ€™s ability to pump blood and cause arrhythmias. Severe cases of myocarditis could weaken the heart so much that it becomes unable to pump enough blood to the entire body. This can also lead to clots forming in the heart, which can cause either strokes or heart attacks.

Just for the record, you can just buy a regular train ticket into Kyiv, either online or at the station.

Trains are running as normal.

Filming around Kyiv train station was near impossible.

Talking/texting on the phone was ok.

I walk the street and see no evidence of this as of yet.

The words "war" and "invasion" are apparently too politically incorrect for the United Nations, which has instructed staff to avoid using those terms in reference to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

 

Instead, the U.N. communications department would like staff to use terms such as "conflict" or "military offensive" to describe the nearly universally condemned war of aggression waged by Russian President Vladimir Putin against his country's smaller neighbor. Employees were also asked to refrain from describing the conflict as a war and from adding the Ukrainian flag to their personal or official social media accounts or websites.

10,000 Uncounted Ballots Found in Texas County: Officials

 

Officials in Texas said they discovered about 10,000 uncounted ballots in last weekโ€™s primary election, which led to a delay in the results.

 

The Harris County Elections Office said that some 6,000 Democratic votes and 4,000 Republican votes werenโ€™t counted and will be added to final tallies.

 

โ€œWhile the votes were scanned into our tabulation computer, they were not transferred and counted as a part of the unofficial final results as they should have been,โ€ the Harris County Elections Office stated over the past weekend. They blamed an โ€œoversightโ€ for why the votes werenโ€™t counted in the county, which is home to Houston.

Gas prices hit a record high on Tuesday shortly before news surfaced that [Former Senator] Joe Biden plans to cut off Russian oil, natural gas, and coal imports into the U.S.

 

After one year of torpedoing American energy independence, the Biden [regime] is attempting to take more serious action against Russia after its sanctions against Vladimir Putinโ€™s [administration] were criticized for being too little and too late.

 

Bidenโ€™s embargo on Russian oil, however, is only going to exacerbate the crisis he created by refusing to ramp up domestic oil production.

 

Even before the Russo-Ukraine conflict, Americans were struggling to keep up with rising gas prices under the Biden [regime]โ€™s policies, which relinquished American energy independence, and the corporate media predictably lied about it.

 

After Biden wrecked domestic production by suspending oil and gas leases, axed projects such as the Keystone Pipeline, canceled Arctic drilling leases, and pushed a cascade of taxes and regulation on the industry all in his first year in office, domestic gas prices rose dramatically and quickly became a sore spot for Americans, many of whom have indicated theyโ€™re looking for a change in the November midterms.

 

As the White House prepares to roll out its ban on Russia, the worldโ€™s largest exporter of oil, to hold the nation โ€œaccountable for its unprovoked and unjustified war on Ukraine,โ€ itโ€™s also gearing up to possibly strike a deal with foreign enemies and Russian allies Venezuela and Iran to supplement the oil supply hole left by nixing Russian imports into the U.S., which doubled last year.

 

Already, the White House sent a delegation to Trump-sanctioned Venezuela to discuss pumping the nationโ€™s state oil into the U.S., and as President Nicolรกs Maduro said, โ€œfor the stability of the world.โ€ Venezuela produces 500 percent more methane than U.S. producers, but Biden, who justified his war on U.S. oil by claiming he wanted to prioritize green energy, seems to have turned a blind eye to that fact and appears to be willing to strike a deal anyway. The White House also seems unbothered that just a couple of years ago, the United States tried to overthrow the Maduro regime but is now hoping it will sell Americans oil.

 

While most of the West was quick to denounce Putinโ€™s actions in Ukraine, Venezuela and Iran both have boosted their relationships and support for the disgraced nation in the last couple of weeks. Through 2020, public health experts and the mainstream media warned against the use of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Trucker Protest Slowing Gasoline Deliveries Here

DETROIT, Feb. 1โ€”The spreading fuel protest by independent truckers was seriously disrupting the shipment of fruit, produce, meat and steel today, forcing some distributors and plants to close and threatening others with shutdowns next week.

 

One spokesman for the truckers said that the protest was now โ€œextremely effectiveโ€ in 28 states.

 

In Pennsylvania, Gov. Milton J. Shapp activated elements of two National Guard battalions to insure the free movement of trucks after stones and other heavy objects were thrown from overpasses at trucks whose drivers were not joining the stoppage.

 

Gov. John J. Gilligan authorized the Ohio National Guard to use helicopters to search for snipers and stone throwers, and Gov. Reubin Askew of Florida offered Guard trucks to deliver fuel to police, fire and ambulance units on the fuelstarved southwest coast.

 

George Rynn, president of the Council of Independent, Truckers, one of the major groups organizing the protest, made the estimate that the protest was โ€œextremely effectiveโ€ in 28 states, but he said it was weak in some of the Western and Southern states.

 

He said that there was no contact today with the office of W. J. Usery Jr., special assistant to President Nixon, who has been trying to resolve the dispute.

 

Consumers have not been affected so far, except in a few areas, but shortages were predicted by next week if the protest continued.

 

The greatest impact was felt by citrus and produce growers in Florida, the steel industry in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Illinois, and meat producers in the Middle West.

 

The truckers, mostly owneroperators, began yesterday to pull their rigs off the road to protest shortages of fuel, high fuel costs and lowered speed limits.

 

M. M. Griffith, sales manager of Sealed Sweet, Inc., in Tampa, the largest shipper of, citrus fruit in Florida, said, โ€œAS of this morning we're shut down. There's no equipment to load. Our houses are closed.โ€

Major shippers said that the lack of movement northward would decrease supplies and drive up prices in the North.

Steel plants have already begun laying off small numbers of men, and spokesmen predicted that by next week there could be largeโ€scale closings.

 

The Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation, the sixthโ€largest steel producer in the nation, said that, if the protest lasted a few more days, it would have to order โ€œa substantial curtailment of operations and layoffs.โ€

 

Spokesmen for the WheelingPittsburgh Steel Corporation said that only 2 per cent of the company's trucks were operating and that 60 men had been laid off at one mill.

 

Eugene Januzzi, board chairman of the Moltrup Steel Products Company in Beaver Falls, Pa., said, โ€œIt's very severe. We can't receive. We can't ship. Our revenues are shut off 100 per cent.โ€

 

The company's steel fabricating plant, employing 200 people, has been put on a fourโ€day week.

 

Steel plants in Youngstown, Ohio; Gary, Ind., and South Chicago, Ill., also reported that little of their products was being moved.

In the livestock market near Chicago, delivery of cattle and hogs was down by 60 to 70 per cent. At the Peoria Union Stock. Yards, Foster Embry, the president of the yard, said that about 1,400 hogs were delivered this morning against the normal 3,500.

The leaders of the independent owners, who number about 100,000, were concentrating today on closing down'1,000 truck stops around the country that sell food and fuel to the drivers.

 

Drivers in Southern California blockaded many major truck stops. At the Los Angeles truck terminal, more than 50 trucks jammed the parking areas and closed the fuel pumps.

 

Cathy Lurch, the owner, arrived at 4 A.M., looked at the blockade and said, โ€œI wasn't going to fight them. I'm in sympathy with them, Today's the first day in two weeks that I had any diesel fuel to sell. What's one more day?โ€

 

Gene Vaulkner, a trucker for 30 years who was coordinating the protest in Southern California from the terminal, estimated that about 90 per cent of independent drivers were not working in California.

Well, what doesn't make sense, is Putin made it clear if the US got involved, he would consider nukes.

 

So, VERY obviously attacking them by proxy through Poland and others, is not going to end well.

 

Personally, I don't give a shit anymore. If we were attacked, it may open up an opportunity for me to recscue my children. And frankly, there appears to be more hope in holding out for that, than holding out for Q.

First time seeing that one. Recently rewatched "Zeitgeist", and got to the part about the towers. The voice recording of the man on the phone with 911 talking about getting stuck between floors, and at about the time this recording depicts that, the man screaming helplessly and the recording cuts. Cried. The people that did this (and the many other crimes) need to meet justice. That's about the only way I can word it.
