1) Don't buy a house that you can't afford. Buy something small. Mortgage debt is how they get people.

2) If you have a credit card, always pay it off, never pay interest on credit cards.

3) If you have kids in public school, take them out. Find an alternative.

So many things are out of our control. So we need to have control over the things that are within our grasp.

When my son was 3, I had him in a daycare that was run by the college that I was attending. I trusted it because I thought, hey, it's run by the college, it must be ok.

Then I met the director of the daycare and realized that she was a kook.

Pulled my kid out right away and brought him to grandma's house instead while I was in class.

Had a similar experience at a party last weekend, only it was a barrage of FOX News talking points, mostly around the topic of education and covid, blah, blah, blah. I just kept my mouth shut.

I've come to the conclusion that most people are sheep. They just need better leaders. The leaders we have now are wolves. We need sheep dogs to guide people in the right direction.
