A federal judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss Special Counsel John Durham’s case against former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann for allegedly lying to the FBI while hawking a later debunked theory linking Donald Trump to Russia.

 

US District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled that Sussmann must make his case to a jury — declining to toss the single false statements charge against him on technical grounds.

 

Sussmann met with then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in September 2016 and allegedly told him he wasn’t sharing internet data about Trump on behalf of a client, when in fact he was working for the Clinton campaign and Rodney Joffe, a tech executive accused of seeking to impress senior Democrats into offering him a top cybersecurity job if Clinton was elected president.

 

Sussmann’s tip involved apparent digital links between the Trump Organization and Moscow’s Alfa Bank. Further review by experts indicated the supposed smoking-gun data was likely just the result of junk email.

 

Sussmann’s legal team urged the judge to dismiss the case by arguing that his alleged lie was immaterial to any government action.

 

But Cooper wrote, “As the Special Counsel argues, it is at least possible that statements made to law enforcement prior to an investigation could materially influence the later trajectory of the investigation. Sussmann offers no legal authority to the contrary.”

 

Cooper added that “while Sussmann is correct that certain statements might be so peripheral or unimportant to a relevant agency decision or function to be immaterial … the Court is unable to make that determination as to this alleged statement before hearing the government’s evidence. Any such decision must therefore wait until trial.”

 

The charge against Sussmann carries a statutory maximum of 5 years in prison.

 

As part of Durham’s review of the FBI’s Russia investigation, former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty in 2020 to falsifying records submitted to the federal surveillance court by doctoring an email to secure an extension of a 2016 surveillance warrant targeting Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Clinesmith was sentenced to probation.

 

In November, Durham charged Igor Danchenko with lying to the FBI about his contributions to the Steele dossier — a compilation of anti-Trump opposition research and salacious rumors financed by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The dossier was used to support surveillance of Page and heavily influenced public perception of Trump’s relationship with Russia.

 

FBI official Peter Strzok launched the initial federal investigation of possible Trump links to Russia in July 2016 after Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos allegedly told an Australian diplomat that Russia had damaging information on Clinton. Strzok, it later emerged, swapped anti-Trump messages with his mistress, then-FBI attorney Lisa Page.

Another Dem mistake! Threatened price controls won’t curb Biden-flation

 

Joe Biden is the opposite of Harry Truman. “Give ’Em Hell, Harry” had a famous sign on his desk in the Oval Office: “The Buck Stops Here.” That meant that when things went wrong, he shouldered the blame — as any good chief executive of a company or a country should do.

 

What Biden is best at when things go wrong is pointing his finger at someone else. He passes the buck. The Afghanistan debacle? The Pentagon brass told me to do it. The disaster at the border? Blame Congress for not authorizing enough money.

 

High gas prices? Blame Russian President Vladimir Putin. Runaway inflation? Price gouging by American companies.

 

The obvious solution to $5-a-gallon gas, surging prices at the grocery store and higher drug and hospital costs is to stop the multitrillions of dollars of debt-spending in Washington that is dumping cheap money into the economy.

 

When President Donald Trump left office 15 months ago, inflation was less than 2%. It is now somewhere between 7% and 10%, depending on the measure. And Biden-flation isn’t “transitory.” If anything, the up escalator on prices is getting worse.

 

Now the Biden administration complains that producers are taking advantage of product shortages and supply-chain constraints by jacking up their prices. He wants to penalize the meat packers for the high beef prices, the poultry industry for the rising expense of a chicken dinner, the drug companies for the high cost of pharmaceuticals and the oil and gas industry for recording record profits while gas prices soar.

 

He wants the Federal Trade Commission and other regulatory agencies to impose price ceilings to be monitored by an army of federal price-control police.

 

This is economic amnesia. We tried all these government manipulations in the 1960s and 1970s. The ruinous price regulations on industry made inflation worse. Back then we had Soviet-style central planners imposing price limits on everything: long-distance phone calls, oil and gas, airlines, rail service, trucking and banking services.

 

This was supposed to protect consumers, but by making it illegal for prices to rise, we got hit with empty shelves, shortages and gas lines.

 

The price ceilings became de facto price floors. Inflation shot up from 5% to 8% to 10% by 1980.

 

Even Democrats Jimmy Carter and Ted Kennedy realized that things were going haywire. They took the lead in ushering in an era of decontrol of prices. And when President Ronald Reagan was elected, his first executive order was to end oil and gas price controls.

 

What was the result? A famous study by the Brookings Institution found that the airline prices collapsed by one-third (ushering in an era of everyday Americans being able to afford to fly here, there and everywhere) and banking charges fell by half, as did trucking and rail costs. The price of oil briefly rose when the price controls were lifted, but then as energy supplies were unleashed, prices fell by more than 60%.

 

Brookings found “in every industry” in which price controls were lifted, “prices fell and service quality improved.”

 

Why is this history lesson so hard for the modern Democrats to learn?

 

Just this week, Bernie Sanders called for a backdoor form of price controls with his proposal of a 95% windfall-profits tax on such firms as oil companies, pharmaceuticals and meat producers. No one told the senator that when you tax something, you get less of it. This will only make supply-chain problems worse and fuel even higher prices.

 

Businesses aren’t charities. And it’s not “greed” or price gouging to make a profit. Adam Smith taught us in 1776 that it’s profit, not “benevolence,” that induces companies to produce more of the things we want at prices we can afford. That eventually brings prices down.

 

How depressing that here we are 250 years later and our politicians in Washington still don’t understand that enduring economic lesson.

The Ukrainian government and its Western allies have been warning that an increasingly desperate Russian military might resort to chemical warfare for weeks.

That threat appeared to materialize on Monday, after Ukraine announced it was investigating “unverified” information that Russian troops used chemical weapons in the besieged southern city of Mariupol.

Unlike other reports of Russian atrocities in places like Bucha, which were quickly corroborated by Ukrainian and international authorities, the reports of chemical warfare in Mariupol have been treated with caution and skepticism.

That’s partly due to the source of the allegations: the far-right, ‘ultra-nationalist’ Azov militia group.

Azov leader Andriy Biletsky told the Kyiv Independent newspaper that three people in Mariupol displayed “clear signs of chemical poisoning” on April 11 — although Biletsky said there were no “disastrous consequences” for their health.

The unverified accusation set off alarm that Russia, already accused of an illegal invasion, massacring civilians and torture, had crossed another line in its increasingly bloody war.

But to understand why Azov’s claims are met with greater skepticism, you need to know about the regiment’s history – and it’s role in the information warfare being waged alongside Russia’s invasion.

Who is the Azov battalion?

Azov was formed in May 2014 as a “volunteer police battalion” according to Anton Shekhovstov, the director of Austria’s Centre for Democratic Integrity and a researcher on far-right groups in Europe. Their formation was directly influenced by Russia’s annexation of the Crimean peninsula.

“The original battalion consisted mostly of football hooligans and members of the Ukrainian far-right, and it was the far-right organization ‘Patriot of Ukraine’ that was in charge of the original battalion,” Shekhovstov wrote.

“Several key people who were directly involved in the formation of the Azov battalion had an extremely dubious history of cooperating not only with pro-Russian forces in Ukraine but also with Russian political spin-doctors.

“Moreover, neither Azov nor other battalions did proper screening of volunteers, some of whom came from Russia. All that created a huge security risk of Russian operatives seizing control of Azov and turning into an anti-Ukrainian force.”

Shekhovstov wrote that some of the far-right elements in Azov departed to attempt to capitalize on the regiment’s military success, particularly in liberating Mariupol. But the far-right political parties in Ukraine failed to gain an electoral foothold — according to Shekhovstov, the far-right ticket received less than 2.2 per cent of the popular vote.

But Azov continues to be a force, both in a military sense and in the propaganda war. Russia’s “special military operation” has the “de-nazification” of Ukraine as one of its stated goals. The fact that Azov’s detractors refer to them as extremists with neo-Nazi roots assists in that propaganda campaign.

“But if we look at the actual facts, then in the last parliamentary elections in Ukraine, then the extreme right forces got less than three per cent (of the popular vote), which meant that they didn’t even get represented in parliament and instead by an overwhelming majority, a Jewish president was elected,” said Andres Kasekamp, a professor with the Munk School of Global Affairs at University of Toronto.

“And if you think of that three per cent, if you look around at most of the West, specifically Europe, then most European countries have extreme right groups which are in parliament with much more than three per cent.”

Claims of Chemical Weapons

According to the Kyiv Independent, Azov claimed that a “poisonous substance” had been “distributed by a drone.” Victims reported a shortness of breath and “vestibullocerebellar ataxia,” a neurological disorder, the regiment said.

The Ukrainian government has not confirmed the use of chemical weapons, and U.S. and U.K. intelligence agencies — who have been releasing intelligence reports before and throughout the Russian invasion — have said they’re aware of the allegations but have not confirmed them.

“There is a theory that these could be phosphorous munitions,” said Hanna Malyar, Ukraine’s deputy defence minister, on Tuesday.

“Official information will come later.”

U.S. officials said last week that it had delivered equipment to guard Ukrainian soldiers against chemical and biological weaponry.

Western skepticism

Russia has denied the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine, and has accused the Ukrainian government — without evidence — of preparing to use chemical weapons themselves. The Kremlin and its proxies on the internet have also been active in spreading conspiracy theories about U.S. biolabs in Ukraine — a pretext, some observers have argued, for the use of chemical weapons by Russian forces.

But Western intelligence agencies — including in the U.S. and U.K. — have been hesitant to confirm Azov’s reporting, despite a general willingness to share sensitive intelligence about the Russian invasion.

Confirmation would put even more pressure on Western governments to assist Ukraine in their struggle. But if Azov’s claims are disproven or discredited, the Kremlin will have another arrow in its quiver to discredit Ukrainian claims of atrocities.

As gas prices rise and Vladimir Putin escalates his war on Ukraine, Democrats’ political fortunes fall. That’s why President Joe Biden announced last week he’ll increase domestic production to combat what he calls “Putin’s price hike” at the pump by imposing “fees” (read taxes) on US energy companies for unproductive wells leased on public lands.

 

This political gamesmanship will stop neither soaring gas prices nor the Russian president, however, and may well accelerate Democrats’ death spiral heading into the midterms. Because Biden isn’t at war with Putin, he’s at war with domestic energy production — and has been since Day One of his administration, when he canceled the Keystone pipeline to bring Canadian oil to the United States.

 

Keystone’s fate sent a chilling message to anyone contemplating a costly infrastructure project: This administration prioritizes a radical green agenda over American energy independence.

 

But Keystone was only the first Biden action that significantly undermined investments that would have increased both domestic supply and exports abroad. Right now, millions of gallons of natural gas could be streaming out of the central Pennsylvania town of Wyalusing, then shipped out of a new export facility in Gibbstown, NJ. Instead, environmental extremists emboldened by the administration’s heavy-handed regulation spent the last year and a half shutting down this critical project.

 

Wyalusing is a case study in everything that has gone wrong with US energy policy under Biden. In 2018, New Fortress Energy applied to build a $800 million natural-gas processing plant there to purify and liquefy millions of gallons of gas from the Marcellus Shale, which would then move by rail and truck to the export facility in New Jersey. The target operation date was the first half of 2022.

 

In other words, Wyalusing should be coming online right now and, through Gibbstown, helping increase US exports to Europe — just when they’re needed most to counter Putin’s iron grip on natural-gas supplies to our NATO allies.

 

Instead, New Fortress Energy announced last month it will suspend the long-delayed project indefinitely after fanatical environmental groups — including PennFuture, the Clean Air Council and the Sierra Club — obstructed it through repeated legal action against both Wyalusing and Gibbstown. New Fortress decided to cut its losses after a long fight: It was easier to placate these organizations by allowing the necessary permits to expire than risk the ongoing expense and reputational damage they threatened.

Biden policies designed to make getting natural gas to market more difficult also influenced this decision. A key sticking point for the green groups was the proposal to move most of the liquified natural gas from Wyalusing to Gibbstown by rail — necessary thanks to obstructions and legal hurdles that routinely target any pipeline project.

 

President Donald Trump issued an executive order directing the Department of Transportation to begin the process of allowing natural-gas transport by rail. But Biden rescinded it via his own executive order, putting all LNG-by-rail regulations under review. That considerably complicated the Wyalusing project and gave more legal ammunition to green groups. It’s also depressed demand for the necessary specialized rail cars, which are therefore in short supply.

 

So rather than having significantly increased energy supplies to boost exports in the Ukraine crisis, Pennsylvania remains limited to current capacity, which clearly won’t be enough to replace Russian supplies. A sad irony is that the same environmental groups making it harder to transport US energy are raising global emissions by forcing European consumers to rely on Russian gas exports — which emit more than 40% more pollution than the cleaner US gas exports to Europe we should be accelerating.

 

More US natural-gas production is essential to ensuring affordable and reliable fuel during the energy transition, strengthening our allies’ energy security and reducing global greenhouse-gas emissions. The path forward is clear: Biden should immediately release new energy-infrastructure guidelines to include extending permits for projects delayed by legal action, facilitating logistic projects to include both pipelines and rail and expediting export facilities.

 

In its desperation to lower domestic gas prices, the administration is reportedly considering replacing Keystone by moving the additional Canadian oil that would have come by pipeline by rail — the very means of transportation its environmentalist proxies used to target Wyalusing.

 

This is verging on the absurd. If Biden is serious about supplying Americans with plentiful, affordable energy and defeating Vladimir Putin in the energy war, he can start in Pennsylvania, where the attrition of energy projects is happening in real-time due to his policies. It’s going to take years to wean Europe off Russian natural gas, making it all the more urgent to expedite — not harass out of existence — projects like Wyalusing.

A wind energy company pleaded guilty last week to killing at least 150 eagles at its wind farms and was ordered to pay $8 million in fines and restitution, federal prosecutors said.

 

The company, ESI Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, was also sentenced to probation for five years, during which it must follow an eagle management plan, after pleading guilty on Tuesday to three counts of violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

 

ESI acknowledged that at least 150 bald and golden eagles had died at its facilities since 2012, and that 136 of those deaths were “affirmatively determined to be attributable to the eagle being struck by a wind turbine blade,” the Justice Department said in a statement.

 

The deaths occurred across 50 of the 154 wind farms that the company operates in the United States, the Justice Department said.

 

The company failed to take steps to protect the eagles or obtain the permits that are necessary when eagle deaths are documented or predicted, the Justice Department said. By not taking these steps, prosecutors said, ESI had “gained a competitive advantage.”

 

“This prosecution and the restitution it secures will protect the ecologically vital and majestic natural resources of our bald eagle and golden eagle populations,” Phillip A. Talbert, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of California, said in a statement.

 

Rebecca Kujawa, the president of NextEra, said in a statement that she disagreed with the federal government’s enforcement of the policy because “the reality is building any structure, driving any vehicle, or flying any airplane carries with it a possibility that accidental eagle and other bird collisions may occur as a result of that activity.”

 

“We have a longstanding and well-earned reputation for protecting our environment and positively coexisting with and supporting wildlife around our facilities,” Ms. Kujawa said. “And we have never sited a wind turbine knowing an eagle would fly into it, nor have we taken any action in disregard of federal law.”

 

The company agreed to spend up to $27 million on measures to “minimize additional eagle deaths and injuries,” prosecutors said. Steven Stengel, a spokesman for NextEra, said that there was so far no specific breakdown of how that money would be spent.

 

The case comes as the bald eagle, the nation’s symbol whose resurgence is considered one of the greatest conservation stories of the 21st century, faces a new threat: lead poisoning.

 

All but a few hundred bald eagles were presumed dead by the mid-20th century, killed off largely by the widespread use of the synthetic insecticide DDT. A ban on DDT in 1972 and conservation efforts helped the population to rebound. The bald eagle was removed from Endangered Species Act protection in 2007 and its estimated population grew to 316,700 by 2019.

 

But researchers found this year that of the 1,200 eagles they tested, nearly half had been exposed repeatedly to lead, which can lead to death and slow population growth. Scientists believe that the primary source of the lead is ammunition used by hunters, who shoot animals that the eagles then scavenge.

Protecting the eagles has become a “challenging situation,” especially when it comes to wind turbines, said Julia Ponder, a professor and associate dean at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota, whose research focuses on raptor medicine and surgery.

 

“I’d love it if it were black and white, but it’s not,” she said.

 

While wind turbines can harm eagles and other birds, they are also an alternative form of energy that is cleaner than fossil fuels, which are contributing to a warming of the planet, she said.

 

The tips of a wind turbine’s blades can spin at about 200 miles per hour, fast enough to immediately kill any bird, Professor Ponder said.

 

A 2013 study found that between 140,000 and 328,000 birds are killed each year in the United States at monopole turbines.

 

Roberto Albertani, a professor of mechanical engineering at Oregon State University, said in 2017 that he and his team had devised a system that sought to make wind turbines safer for eagles.

 

It called for using cameras to determine if the birds were approaching the blades, triggering on-the-ground inflatable tubes, or “wind dancer” figures, like those often seen at car dealerships, to scare the birds away, Professor Albertani said in a presentation last year.

 

Eagles appear to be “annoyed by anthropomorphic figures,” he said.

 

Professor Ponder said some researchers were looking into using audio signals to keep the birds away from turbines. Others are working on detection systems that would shut off a turbine when eagles approach — a measure that could be effective, but costly, for power companies.

 

“These are really complex questions,” she said. “And we have to work to find the right questions to ask, and the answers to them.”

Joseph Gatt denied the allegations on Wednesday.

 

“I obviously want to address the absolutely horrifying and completely untrue allegations recently leveled against me,” the actor said. “They are 100% categorically wrong and reckless. I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today’s press release.”

San Diego Attorney Admits to Conspiring to Commit $500,000 of Tax Fraud with Former Chabad of Poway Rabbi Goldstein

SAN DIEGO – Elliot Adler, an attorney and founding partner of a boutique San Diego law firm, pleaded guilty in federal court today to conspiring with former Chabad of Poway Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein to commit tax fraud.

According to his plea agreement, Adler admitted that beginning at least as early as 2010 and continuing through October 2018, he participated in a so-called “90/10” tax scheme with Rabbi Goldstein. Specifically, Adler gave money to Rabbi Goldstein that purported to be a donation to Chabad of Poway. Goldstein then secretly funneled ninety percent of the funds back to Adler, keeping ten percent of the funds as his fee. None of the donated funds was actually given to the Chabad as a charitable donation.

Adler then falsely claimed that the fraudulent donations were tax-deductible on his tax returns, allowing him to reduce his personal income tax liability by approximately $500,000 (cumulatively) for tax years 2011 through 2017.

To accomplish the scheme, Adler and Goldstein communicated using coded language. Goldstein would refer to cash as “challah,” the source of the cash as “the baker,” and would invite co-conspirators to “wrap tefillin” when he proposed meeting to receive checks or deliver cash. For example, on Thursday, January 7, 2016, Goldstein texted Adler, “Good morning I got the challah[.] What time?” That same day, Adler replied via text message, “Monday morning 8am at shul or today before 12pm if you can come to my office.” Goldstein then replied, “Monday @8 is fine.” On Monday, January 11, 2016, Goldstein deposited a check from Adler for $30,000 payable to Chabad of Poway.

On or about December 29, 2017, Goldstein deposited two sequentially numbered checks from Adler, one for $180,000 and the other for $980,000. On Friday, January 5, 2018, Goldstein sent Adler a coded text message proposing that they “get together and wrap teffilin.” A few days later, on January 10, 2018, Goldstein wired approximately $1million to a wholesale and retail jeweler to purchase 246 Suisse Fortuna 1 oz. rectangular gold ingots, 246 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz. gold coins, and 246 American Eagle 1 oz. gold coins. On January 17, 2018, Goldstein sent another coded message to Adler asking him, “[w]hen can you come [i]n for a teffilin wrap? I’m ready for you.” Goldstein delivered the gold to Adler the next day. Adler nonetheless claimed on his 2017 tax returns that he had donated over $1 million to charity, fraudulently reducing his 2017 tax liability by approximately $447,000.

Adler and Goldstein took additional steps to conceal their scheme from authorities. On or about October 18, 2018, Goldstein told Adler that he was under investigation by the IRS and that he had been the subject of an undercover operation relating to tax evasion. Goldstein asked for Adler’s help to prove, falsely, that Goldstein, and not Adler, was in possession of the gold coins purchased with Adler’s purported donation. In the early hours of October 19, 2018, Adler arrived at Goldstein’s residence and returned the gold coins.

In July 2020, Rabbi Goldstein pleaded guilty to fraud charges, admitting that he participated in a complex, years-long, multi-million-dollar tax-evasion scheme and other financial deceptions involving theft of public money. Rabbi Goldstein’s plea agreement outlined the fraud scheme with Adler.

Adler is the eleventh individual to plead guilty to crimes discovered in this investigation. Two additional individuals agreed to deferred prosecution agreements as a result of the investigation.

“Elliot Adler conspired to commit a $500,000 tax fraud through phony religious donations,” said U.S. Attorney Randy S. Grossman. “Tax fraud is a serious crime that directly impacts our communities, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office is committed to working with the IRS, FBI and our other law enforcement partners to bring those responsible to justice.” Grossman thanked the prosecution team and agents for their hard work on this case.

“This defendant was part of an elaborate, years-long financial scheme to fraudulently claim charitable contributions in an effort to avoid paying taxes,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge Stacey Moy. “The FBI and our federal partners will continue to vigorously pursue those who abuse tax laws for their own financial gain - which also diminishes the public’s trust in charitable giving and hurts the organizations who rely on such donations.”

“For years, Mr. Adler shirked his duty to pay his fair share and then he doubled-down in a failed attempt to cover up his million-dollar tax fraud with Rabbi Goldstein,” said Special Agent in Charge Ryan L. 41 members of Bloods-affiliated Sex Money Murder gang arrested in Florida

 

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Thirteen gang leaders who officials say are part of the Bloods-affiliated Sex Money Murder gang have been arrested in Florida. These gang leaders were arrested during an operation that officials say resulted in the arrest of 41 gang members total.

eliminated the main leadership of a violent, nationwide gang operating in Florida.

 

“You might ask, well how violent are they Grady? Well, think about this. They went into one home invasion and pistol whipped an 8-year-old child," said Sheriff Grady Judd.

 

Attorney General Ashley Moody, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement say the suspects face a wide array of charges stemming from gang activity that included a complex scheme to deal drugs in state prisons. Charges include racketeering, directing the activities of a criminal gang, witness tampering and conspiracy to commit murder.

 

According to a multiagency investigation, leadership of the gang organized a scheme to smuggle synthetic cannabinoids into at least three state prisons. Evidence secured during the investigation revealed that members of the gang sprayed the drugs onto pages of the Bible, Qur'an and greetings cards and then mailed them to gang members in the prisons.

 

During searches at the homes of gang leaders in three counties, police found firearms as well as large quantities of crack, cocaine and cannabis. Several members face charges associated with home invasions. During the investigation, authorities say gang leadership also ordered murder-hits on two former gang members and face charges associated with those crimes.

Trevor Karney told Nicholas Veniamin he met the Gettys and didn't know who they were at the time but he ended up working for them. He was at Mrs. Getty’s home one day and she asked Trevor if he wanted to see John's house and he said yes.

 

When he arrived at John Getty's house (on Wonderland Avenue), it looked more like a warehouse. John gave him a tour of the house and he described what he saw.

 

There was black and white tiles on the hallway floor and there were 2 or 3 rooms with children's beds. At the bottom of the hallway there was a massive hot tub for 10-15 people made with what appeared to be crystal. John told Trevor the people who owned the place before them shot porn there.

 

There was a huge room that looked like a sound stage with artwork hanging from the roof. John asked him if he wanted to know what the room was and Trevor said he did. John explained it was “Lookout Mountain Laboratory” where the moon landing was filmed and that it was an ex-Air Force Base and this is where the moon landing was filmed, apart from some desert scenes. He also said it was MK-Ultra headquarters for Los Angeles back in the day.

 

John stepped out of the room and Trevor saw what he describes as a human holding cell with a police door. He asked John about it and John said they stored the film there. Trevor didn’t believe someone would built this huge warehouse to store film in a small secure cell. He left that day fairly shook up. He knew there was more to it. He went away and started researching the place, trying to get information on what was there before.

 

He was asked to go back to John’s house again, but the day he showed up, John held him at the door and behind John he saw a “South American teenager,” but never saw the teen again.

 

Trevor ends up meeting Mrs. Getty's Personal Assistant who told him she had written a movie which she was going to star in and she sent him a link to it.

 

Later, when he saw "Fall of the Cabal" he recognized the art he had seen in John’s warehouse as the art from Anderson Cooper’s swimming pool.

 

THIS IS WHERE A DIG IS NEEDED. The Personal Assistant/writer of the movie was Rodleen Getsic and the name of the movie is "The Bunny Game."

Ammunition stockpiles aboard a Russian ship that was famously defied by Ukrainian troops early in the war have detonated, according to a statement from the Russian defence ministry.
