Nolte: Disappointed NY Times Admits There Was No ‘Roe v. Wade Bounce’ in Tuesday Elections

The far-left New York Times was forced to admit that there was no abortion bounce for Democrats in Tuesday night’s primary elections.

The sad trombone headline reads: “A Roe v. Wade bounce in primary turnout does not appear to be materializing.”

And the sad story goes like this:

The Supreme Court decision ending the constitutional right to abortion was expected to motivate voters. Turnout in several states hosting primaries on Tuesday, however, appeared to be typically sluggish — at least so far.

All of those states have various forms of early voting, meaning that many ballots may have been cast before the court struck down the landmark Roe v. Wade case on Friday.

Turnout in the Democratic and Republican primaries was anemic across New York City during the first full-fledged gubernatorial primary since the rollout of early voting, according to stats from the Board of Elections.

Of note in that quote is the New York Times’ ludicrous claim that maybe too many people had voted early — meaning pre-Friday when Roe was overturned — for it to have an effect on same-day turnout.

Okay, but the news of the impending decision to overturn Roe was leaked weeks and weeks ago, nearly two months ago… Wouldn’t that have reflected in the early vote.

So, where’s the outrage the media have promised us for 50 years? Where’s the energy and activism and death of the GOP the media have promised for 50 years if Roe is overturned?

And you would think that coming just days after the Supreme Court overturned the legal and moral atrocity that was Roe — especially being the very first election after Roe — that same-day voting would have brought out throngs and throngs of outraged women who usually don’t vote but Damn well will now that they’ve lost the right to butcher their child!

And this isn’t the first sign that 50 years of media and Democrat party threats about abortion being a third rail that will lead to another Civil War was all a bluster and hoax.

The polls bear this out—even media polls.

But what really exposed that lie is the lack of Taking It To The Streets!

The throngs and throngs we were promised all stayed home over the weekend, even though the decision came on a Friday, just before a very nice weekend weather-wise.

You couldn’t ask for better conditions that would allow the promised throngs to flood the streets, and they just didn’t. A few thousand showed up, sure, but the crowds were so small and insane, it was more like an asylum had opened its doors than the Revolucion! the media promised.

Don’t you see…? It was all a bluff, a hollow threat from a Democrat party and a fake media who knew Roe v. Wade could not stand legal scrutiny, who knew more people were opposed to Roe than their rigged polls let on. And now that their sad little bluff has been called and the public has responded with a Bi Shrug, Democrats and the media are again exposed as extremists and liars woefully out of touch with reality.

We Need More Trump Republicans Who Will Fight Like Hell & Get the Answers America Deserves

When Republicans retake the majority this fall, some Washington Republicans will no doubt insist we forget the damage done to our country over the last two years and move on. That would be unacceptable. As Missouri’s next U.S. Senator, I’ll take the same fighting spirit I’ve had as attorney general and be a disrupter, a Trump Republican willing to take on the tough fights and hold the Democrats accountable.

Instead of focusing on real scandals and government malpractice, the Democrat-controlled Congress, their Leftist allies and their enablers in the mainstream media would rather hold joke hearings about January 6 to cover up Joe Biden’s failings.

A new conservative majority in Congress in 2023 should use its power to get answers and hold those responsible accountable on a wide range of issues vital to our great country. As a U.S. Senator, I will work to bring about hearings reminiscent of Iran-Contra to get Americans the answers they deserve.

We have to get to the bottom of what happened in the 2020 election. Republicans should lead the fight to examine all election fraud and irregularities. Americans must once again have faith in the outcome of our elections.

As attorney general, I’ve issued subpoenas on the Zuckerbucks scandal involving the $420 million from Mark Zuckerberg that went to roughly 2,500 election departments in 2020. Zuckerberg and others responsible for this scandal should be brought before Congress for a full accounting of how this money was used to influence election outcomes. Amazingly, even many Republicans want to avoid this topic – that is a mistake.

We need to know who was responsible for the SCOTUS leak, and hold individuals and DOJ accountable for not cracking down on illegal intimidation of Justices and uncover the role Democrats played in it.

Joe Biden and his administration have turned a blind eye to our southern border as illegal immigrants and drugs pour into our country. We owe it to all Americans to get more answers on these disastrous policies sanctioned by Joe Biden.

We need to investigate how Joe Biden and the National School Board Association’s weaponized the Department of Justice to investigate parents, labeling them as “domestic terrorists,” for simply showing up at local school board meetings and voicing their concern about the Leftist propaganda being forced on our kids. Those responsible should be hauled before Congress for a full accounting.

Republicans should support a special prosecutor to investigate Hunter Biden’s laptop and his questionable dealings with foreign entities like China to enrich himself and his family. We need to know if the Biden administration is pressuring U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to slow-walk this explosive investigation into the Biden family, or trying to make this case go away and seal all documents shielding the truth about Hunter’s work to curry favor with the Bank of China.

Congress should investigate the origins of COVID-19 and the gain of function research funded by Anthony Fauci when he was director of the NIAID. We need to investigate Big Tech for their role in colluding with public officials like Fauci to suppress the truth about COVID-19’s origins in a Chinese lab. Fauci, for one, should be repeatedly brought before Congress to face the tough questions he has avoided for years. And COVID tyrannists at every level of government should be held accountable for their role in destroying lives, businesses and the U.S. economy.

We need to investigate the creation of the Disinformation Governance Board, otherwise known as the Ministry of Truth, and any activities they engaged in, together with the government colluding with Big Tech to censor speech disfavored by the Left.

These are only a handful of issues we should be focused on when the calendar page turns to 2023. If those responsible for undermining America are not held accountable, it’s an open invitation for them to abuse power again and again whenever they see an opportunity.

In short, we need more Trump Republicans to fight like hell to save our country.

Here Are The Predictions Trump Got Right About Biden

Trump accurately warned voters that Biden’s policies would attack free speech and the Second Amendment, cause illegal immigrants to flood the southern border, and consumers would suffer high gas prices and a failing economy.

Biden’s Attacks On The Second Amendment

Trump warned that Biden’s administration would implement a “radical left agenda,” including attacks on the First and Second amendments.

“He’s following the radical left agenda: take away your guns, destroy your Second Amendment, no religion no anything, hurt the Bible, hurt God, he’s against God, he’s against guns, he’s against energy, our kind of energy,” Trump said in August 2020.

“If Joe Biden gets in, your Second Amendment is gone. It’s gone — either obliterated to a point of being gone or gone itself,” Trump told supporters on Sep. 8, 2020, in Florida. (RELATED: The Gun Control Legislation Will Strip You Of Rights — Then ‘Bankrupt’ You To Get Them Back)

The Trump campaign also released an ad that warned Biden “openly admitted his plan to violate our Second Amendment rights.”

“To gun owners out there who say, well, a Biden administration means they’re going to come for my guns. Bingo. You’re right,” Biden said in a clip from CNN the Trump campaign used in the ad.

FactCheck.org claimed Trump’s ad was nothing more than “an out-of-context video clip” of Biden.

Biden’s remarks at Cross Hall on gun violence reignited his calls for Congress to begin restricting the Second Amendment. He also claimed the Constitution does not give Second Amendment “absolute” protection.

“The Second Amendment, like all other rights, is not absolute. It was Justice Scalia who wrote … the rights granted by the Second Amendment are ‘not unlimited.’ Not unlimited. It never has been,” Biden said.

“We need to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. And if we can’t ban assault weapons, then we should raise the age to purchase them from 18 to 21. Strengthen background checks. Enact safe storage laws and red-flag laws. Repeal the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from liability,” Biden continued.

Biden signed the first new gun control legislation in 28 years with the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law on June 25.

The bill includes millions of dollars in incentives for states that pass red-flag laws, expands federal background checks, increases waiting period before a sale can be approved and redefines who can register as a Federal Firearms Licensee.

Biden said the bill doesn’t go as far as his administration wanted, but “does include actions I’ve long called for that will save lives.”

Biden’s Open Border Policy:

Trump told supporters that Biden’s border policies would effectively leave the southern border wide open to illegal immigrants.

During his 2020 campaign Trump said:

“Think of that: Abolish immigration enforcement. They’re going to abolish immigration enforcement.”

“Abolish immigration detention. No more detention. You come in here illegally, no more detention.”

“Stop all deportation. So if we get a MS-13 gang member, which we’ve taken out of our country by the thousands — brought them back to Honduras, Guatemala — can’t do that anymore — El Salvador. Can’t do that anymore. Stop all deportations. So in other words, we’ll take all of these people — many of whom are in prison for rape, murder, lots of other things.”

“Expand asylum for all new illegal aliens. How about that one? All new illegal aliens, expand asylum.”

“Incentivize illegal-alien child smuggling. Give it an incentive. Because if you look at what they’re saying, that’s exactly what they do: Incentivize illegal-alien child smuggling.”

The Associated Press rated these Trump predictions as “false in almost every detail.” Still, a recent report by Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives (House GOP) shows Trump was right and the fact-checkers were wildly inaccurate.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) data shows that its agency has apprehended over 2.9 million illegal immigrants crossing the border since Biden took office, including 239,416 migrant encounters in May 2022 alone, according to the House GOP report. At least 50 illegal border crossers since Oct. 2021 were identified as suspects on the terrorist watchlist, reported the House GOP.

“This is the highest in CBP’s 22-year record for monthly crossings and the second month in a row for this record high. That is up 32% from May 2021. That is a 930% increase from 2020,” the House GOP report stated.

May 2022 became the 15th straight month for CBP to apprehend over 150,000 illegal immigrants at the southern border, the House GOP reported. CBP seized over 1 million pounds of illegal drugs in 2022 and over 700,000 illegal border crossers, “gotaways,” evaded CBP apprehension since Biden took office, the report stated.

Biden’s Anti-Fossil Fuel Policies And High Gas Prices:

Gas prices in Gorda, California, hit $7.59 a gallon on March 6, making Trump’s prediction that gas prices would skyrocket under Biden correct.

The current average price of a gallon of gas in California is $6.29, with the national average at $4.86 a gallon, according to AAA.

The Biden campaign frequently addressed comments he made indicating the president wanted “get rid of fossil fuels.” But when confronted by protesters displeased with the campaign switch to being pro-oil and gas, Biden admitted he agreed with the protesters’ anti-fossil fuel agenda.

“We are going to get rid of fossil fuels,” Biden said. “They want to do the same thing that I want to do, they want to phase out fossil fuels, and we’re going to phase out fossil fuels.”

Trump’s prediction that Biden would be against American energy was substantiated when Biden signed Executive Order 13990 on his first day. The order immediately attacked the oil and gas industry by canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline and blocking drilling in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).

A U.S. regulatory authority published the North American Electric Reliability Corporation’s (NERC) May report that at least 28 U.S. states face an energy crisis through the summer months due to a decline in energy capacity causing insufficient resources to “maintain system reliability.”

The 15-state region covered by Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) is at the highest risk of energy blackouts, and The Western Interconnection, Texas, Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is listed as being at an “elevated risk” of energy capacity issues, the report states.

The composite manufacturing index from Fifth District manufacturing firms “fell from -9 in May to -11 in June, as two of its three component indexes dropped further into negative territory,” the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond reported.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas reported factory activity in Texas fell from 18.8 in May to 2.3 in June, and the “new orders” index and the “future production index,” which gauge market demand to plan for future manufacturing needs, dropped for the first time in two years from 19.9 to 4.0.
