Judicial Watch Uncovers Dozens of Records of Illegal Molecular Research Conducted in America in Violation of NIH Guidelines

 

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch on Friday announced it received more than 2,000 pages of records revealing numerous cases where illegal molecular research was conducted in America in violation of National Institute of Health (NIH) guidelines.

 

The dangerous research was conducted in America without proper approval.

 

One email uncovered from Judicial Watch from February 2020: Biosafety Officer for the University of Nebraska – Lincoln Dr. Matt Anderson reports an incident that began in March 2018 wherein Dr. Shi-Hua Xiang created an HIV pseudo virus containing Marburg glycoprotein M78 in a university Biosafety Level 2 laboratory, for which he did not have authorization.

 

Dr. Xiang was told to cease any further work, Judicial Watch reported.

 

“During the investigation, it was determined that Xiang was assisted by student researchers and that the experiment had continued until enough virions were created to complete the experiments that were testing novel peptide inhibitors of viral entry. The report states that Xiang completed NIH Guidelines training in 2012, 2018 and 2019 on responsibilities of obtaining approval prior to engaging in these types of experiments.”

 

Judicial Watch reported:

 

Judicial Watch announced today that it received 2369 pages of records from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) revealing over two dozen cases where research involving recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid (r/sNA) molecules was conducted in America without proper approval and in violation of NIH guidelines.

 

Recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid (r/sNA) molecules are constructed outside of living cells. The molecules are made by joining DNA or RNA segments (natural or synthetic) to DNA or RNA molecules that can replicate within a living cell. They may also result from replication of previously constructed recombinant molecules.

 

NIH guidelines detail safety practices and containment procedures for basic and clinical research involving recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules – including the creation and use of organisms and viruses containing recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules. These guidelines require that any significant problems, violations, or any significant research-related accidents and illnesses be reported to NIH within 30 days.

 

The documents further showed that the research, which occurred at Biosafety Level 1/2/3 laboratories, led to dozens of dangerous mishaps, accidents, and spills.

Supreme Court: Biden Owns the Border

 

In a somewhat disappointing but ultimately clarifying decision, the Court said Biden could end Trump’s highly effective “Remain in Mexico” policy.

 

At a quick glance of the headlines, it might appear that this Supreme Court’s winning streak of good, solid, constructionist decisions ended in deeply disappointing fashion Thursday with its 5-4 ruling that the Biden administration could end Donald Trump’s highly successful “Remain in Mexico” policy.

 

On its surface, yeah, a win for Joe Biden. But there’s more to it.

 

That Trump policy, which required authorities to either place Central American asylum seekers in jail or deny them entry into the U.S. until their cases are resolved, was effective. No doubt about it. As The Wall Street Journal notes, “Monthly border crossings fell by about 75% in the six months following their peak in May 2019, when the program was expanded border-wide.” Thus, we’d greatly prefer it to remain in place. But, as The Washington Free Beacon reports: “The justices … overturned a federal appeals court decision requiring Biden to restart Trump’s ‘remain in Mexico’ policy after the Republican-led states of Texas and Missouri sued to maintain the program. The ruling is a victory for Biden, who appealed the lower court’s decision, and his plan to implement a more ‘humane’ approach at the southern border.”

 

“Humane”? Naturally, Biden denies that his “humane” policies recently enticed over 50 migrants to cook to death at the hands of human smugglers in an abandoned trailer that may have reached 150 degrees.

 

The High Court found the Biden administration had acted within its discretion by ending the program. And we either respect Rule of Law, or we don’t. So here we are, with a border even more porous than it was yesterday. How could this be, though, if we have a “conservative” Supreme Court?

 

We think the answer lies in something Chief Justice John Roberts said a decade ago, when he infamously saved the legislative abomination known as ObamaCare by ruling a penalty to be a tax. It was a squishy, cowardly, Beltway-driven, desperate-to-be-liked decision. But within his opinion, Roberts wrote something that rang true:

 

Members of this court are vested with the authority to interpret the law; we possess neither the expertise nor the prerogative to make policy judgments. Those decisions are entrusted to our nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them.

 

And here’s the kicker — which we can consider a cop-out or an admonition or both:

 

It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.

 

Boom. Elections have consequences.

 

He’s right, to a point, but not absolutely. For example, if a Congress passes and a president signs into law a piece of legislation that is unconstitutional on the merits, as ObamaCare clearly was, it is most definitely the Supreme Court’s job to protect the people from their elected representatives. Otherwise, why would we give them those lifetime jobs and those nifty robes and that killer pension?

 

Complex court rulings — and this one was very complex — are often betrayed by the strange bedfellows they invite. In this case, Biden v. Texas, the five in the majority were Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Brett Kavanaugh. So Roberts convinced one conservative, Kavanaugh, to join him. We wonder: What convinced Kavanaugh to take a position opposite his conservative colleagues?

 

Justice Samuel Alito, who authored the majority opinion last week knocking down Roe v. Wade, wrote the dissent, which was joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch. (Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined the other three in a separate dissent about procedural objections.) Said Alito: “In fiscal year 2021, the Border Patrol reported more than 1.7 million encounters with aliens along the Mexican border.”

To anyone upset right now, let me reassure you that these hearings are a sign of desperation and absolutely the best thing that can happen. They know they're going to get absolutely slaughtered during the midterm elections, by such massive margins that it will be literally impossible to cover it up. In reaction to your image, "You've never seen people fleeing from capitalism to seek a better future in a socialist state" – well, the reality is complicated. I fled from a hyper-financialized capitalist community with no public health care to a slightly less financial community that focuses on industrial production of real goods, but also provides health care. To my mind, real capitalism is what happens in the factories and farms on Main Street, whereas financial trickery is what happens on Wall Street. So I have a better life now, and you can say it's because of capitalism funding the public health care that I need. Okay, fine, so if the USA is so capitalist, why isn't the USA producing more Henry Fords and Thomas Edisons?

 

I like what capitalism is supposed to be about – a fair day's pay for a fair day's work, individual initiative, constructive use of our talents to create real value. I just get suspicious of people who tell me that rich people are capitalists. Is Elon Musk really a capitalist, or is he a guy born into a family of emerald miners who is clever at surviving among the sharks of modern finance? I like capitalism if it truly does give the poor man a chance to better his condition and raise himself up by honest labor. That part sounds good. I'm just not sure that we really have capitalism. Maybe we are operating under crony capitalism that just resembles capitalism superficially.

This is where many people choke. They get preoccupied with trying to prevent their opponent from making the moves they are in position to make and will make.

How do you make your opponent move as you design?

 

20 years ago, how many people were talking about the federal reserve? 20 years ago, how many people were talking about establishing and enforcing gun rights? 20 years ago - how many people were paying attention to the structure of their government and the consequences of its actions?

 

How many people thought it was all just a game? Kind of like a horse race - will the red side or the blue side win? And oh wasn't that a fun and dramatic show?

 

For example, when I saw comments in video sections where people were calling a "blue Texas" something "beautiful" - why did they think this? How many were seeing it as a simple sport of little consequence?

 

What is the victory condition?

To merely put Trump back in office?

To merely punish a few DC criminals?

Will either of those result in the stated victory condition of returning the control of government to the people?

 

The plan is obvious. It is the fundamental virtues embraced by those who seek political power at any expense that prevents them from accepting that it will work or that the result is inevitable.

The only thing to plan is how to structure their failure such that it causes the least conflict among the disoriented and deluded.

These 'eco fuel protesters' probably get financial backing from those Soros funded NGOs to cause as much disruption as possible to further their agenda. If they get into trouble they get bailed out.

Christina Lomasney, a tech veteran and physicist who is now director of commercialization at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Wash., has married James Mattis, the retired Marine Corps general who served as the 26th U.S. secretary of defense.

 

The couple wed recently in a ceremony on the banks of the Columbia River and again on Saturday in Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator officiating, according to a report from Politico. A reception was held at The Palazzo at Rosina, located in The Ventian resort.

 

Politico, which reported that the couple first met in a bar, shared links to images from both ceremonies, here and here.

 

Mattis is a native of Richland who enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve at the age of 18. He graduated from Central Washington University in 1971 and went on to serve 44 years in the Marine Corps, commanding forces at all levels and retiring as a four-star general. He served as secretary of defense from January 2017 to January 2019 under President Trump.

 

Lomasney is a University of Washington-trained physicist and longtime entrepreneur. She was a onetime project manager at Boeing and co-founded Isotron in 2001, working with government agencies on environmental remediation tech.

 

In 2007, she founded Modumental, a Seattle startup that developed an innovative metal manufacturing process as a way to offer better performance at a cheaper price than conventional steel. As CEO she helped form key early partnerships with corporate partners such as Chevron and BP.

 

She joined PNNL, a government-backed research center based in Eastern Washington, as director of technology deployment and outreach last November. He role is to help take PNNL’s research out of the lab and into the real world, commercializing the intellectual property developed by world-leading scientists and engineers at the $1.2 billion organization.

 

Mattis’ first love was always for the Corps and he was well known for remaining a bachelor. A 2017 New Yorker profile, which said he once came close to marrying a woman who insisted he leave the Marines, described Mattis’ bachelorhood as allowing “a single-minded focus on his career and a passionate engagement with the military’s traditions and history.”

Three Texas families sued the state Wednesday, seeking to halt child abuse probes regarding gender-confirming medical treatments for their transgender children.

 

The lawsuit requests a Texas judge to block the state from opening any similar probes against any Texas members of the LGBTQ advocacy group PFLAG Inc.

 

One mother, using the pseudonym Mirabel Voe, announced that her teenage son, who is now transitioning, tried to take his own life on the same day Texas Governor Greg Abbott filed a directive declaring that gender-affirming treatment for minors is child abuse.

 

In the February 2022 directive, Abbott called on “licensed professionals” and “members of the general public” to report cases of people aiding minors in transitioning.

 

Her lawsuit reads: “Antonio said that the political environment, including Abbot’s Letter, and being misgendered in school, led him to take these actions.”

 

After his suicide attempt, Antonio was referred to a psychiatric hospital, where he was treated as an outpatient.

 

It was at the facility that staff informed Antonio and his mom that their family could be subject to an investigation by child protective services as he had been prescribed hormone therapy.

 

At the time of writing, the family is still being investigated.

 

Since the investigation started, Antonio can no longer attend in-person school due to mental health problems and is forced to stay at home.

Palestinian prisoners are hunger-striking to protest the Israeli occupation's administrative detention, the longest of which being 111 days by prisoner Khalil Awawdeh and 76 days by Raed Rayan.

 

The prisoners are in critical health conditions while the Israeli occupation's prisons authorities are refusing to respond to their demands for liberation.

 

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said Awawdeh's case should clear up by June 26, which is the date his current administrative detention ends. However, it would not be out of the ordinary if the Israeli occupation chooses to arbitrarily extend his sentence.

 

The PPC later reported that prisoner Awawdeh suspended his hunger strike on the 111th day after the Israeli occupation pledged to end his arbitrary detention.

 

Prisoner Rayan, on the other hand, is still on hunger strike, starting his 76th day today. He is still detained in the Ramlah prison clinic after the occupation transferred him there from Ofer prison on May 23. Nothing is clear about his case so far.

 

The PPC underlined that the Israeli occupation was neglecting the prisoners' demands on purpose in a bid to have them reach a highly critical health condition with grave repercussions in the long run.

 

The head of the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-prisoners Affairs Commission, Qadri Abu Bakr, revealed on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation threatened prisoners to deny them any access to medical treatment if they do not end their open-ended hunger strike.

 

Palestinian prisoners Khalil Awawdeh, 40, from the town of Idna in Al-Khalil, and Raed Rayan, 27, from the village of Beit Duqu north of Al-Quds, have been hunger-striking for months, demanding their freedom robbed by the Israeli occupation.

 

Rayan has been suffering from headaches and joint, flank, and knee pain, as well as difficulty in walking. He has not been examined by a doctor and has not undergone any medical examinations since the beginning of his hunger strike, while Awawdeh is suffering from severe joint pain, headaches, vertigo, and blurred vision. He is also unable to move and is wheelchair-bound.

 

Palestinian prisoner Zakaria Al-Zubaidi, one of the prisoners behind Operation Freedom Tunnel, which saw six brave prisoners liberating themselves from the unjust prisons of the Israeli occupation, is on the 17th day of his hunger strike launched in solidarity with the hunger-striking prisoners.

 

This comes as 640 administrative detainees are still boycotting the Israeli occupation courts in protest of the policy of administrative detention.

 

There are 682 administrative detainees in the Israeli occupation's prisons out of some 4,600 prisoners. Reports show that there have been more than 54,000 administrative detention orders since 1967.

 

Among the administrative detainees are two female prisoners and a child, most of whom are in the prisons of Ofer (233), Al-Naqab (259), and Megiddo (89).

A French peer-reviewed study concluded that for both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, the risk of myocarditis skyrockets a week after vaccination.

The risk of myocarditis after mRNA vaccination was 8 times and 30 times greater than unvaccinated control groups for BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna), respectively.

The largest association for myocarditis following the Moderna jab was 44 times higher risk for persons aged 18 to 24 years.

As for the Pfizer shot, in relation to the same age group, the risk was 13 times higher.

Infection with the Chinese Communist Party virus yielded, by comparison, a 9 times greater risk of the same condition.

Myocarditis refers to the inflammation of the heart muscle—a life-threatening condition. There are many established causes for this heart condition. The leading cause—according to modern science’s most recent discoveries—is viruses; but during the pandemic, COVID mRNA vaccines have earned a place as a top suspect for myocarditis.

The new study’s goal was to provide an assessment of association with vaccines across sex and age groups.

“Both SARS-CoV2 infection and COVID mRNA vaccines have been associated with myocarditis. Knowing the spike protein’s affinity to ACE2 receptors in the heart and spike protein’s injury to cardiomyocytes (cells of the heart), the association of myocarditis with SARS-CoV2 virus or spike protein-based mRNA vaccination was not entirely unexpected,” Dr. Sanjay Verma, a cardiologist, told The Epoch Times via email.

Verma also thinks the CDC’s analysis “erroneously suggests” that risk of myocarditis after SARS-CoV2 infection is greater than after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.

“For the cases of myocarditis after SARS-CoV2, CDC uses officially confirmed PCR+ ‘cases,’ even though their own seroprevalence data demonstrates that far more people have been infected than officially conformed PCR+ ‘cases.’ For example, seroprevalence data as of Feb 21, 2022, reveals 75 percent (about 54 million) of all children have been infected compared to 12 million officially confirmed PCR+ ‘cases’ (i.e., the actual number of kids infected is 4.5 times greater than PCR+ ‘cases’). Therefore, calculating the risk of myocarditis after SARS-CoV2 infection, the rate noted by CDC would therefore need to be reduced by 4.5 times. Thus far, CDC has not adjusted its COVID-19 morbidity and mortality data accordingly,” said the cardiologist, who practices in Coachella Valley, California.

The study analyzed 1,612 cases of myocarditis and 1,613 cases of pericarditis in France from May 12, 2021, to Oct. 31, 2021, involving 32 million people aged 12 to 50 years who received 46 million doses of mRNA vaccines.

It is limited by using solely hospital discharge diagnoses. Therefore, it does not include those who may have died before being hospitalized or those whose symptoms were not severe enough to be hospitalized.

“There have been reports (pdf) of autopsy-proven myocarditis after vaccination and anecdotal evidence of patients being dismissed by ER and never being hospitalized. Adjusting for these excluded subsets may yield even higher risk than reported in this study. Follow-up of the patients in this study was limited to one month after discharge. However, a previous cardiac MRI study found about 75 percent of patients with vaccine-associated myocarditis can have persistent MRI abnormalities 3–8 months after initial diagnosis,” Verma said.

The authors of the study didn’t analyze the effect of booster vaccination since it is not yet recommended for young adults in France.

In the United States, however, booster injections are mandated by colleges and universities, employers, and even some state public health departments irrespective of age or prior infection.

“In a preprint follow-up to their peer-reviewed study of myocarditis after vaccination, analysis found continued incremental risk of myocarditis after booster vaccination. In fact, while many countries have refrained from recommending COVID vaccination in very young children because the risks do not justify the benefits, the U.S. stands alone in recommending it in the youngest of kids,” Verma said.

A research paper published on May 18 studied the pandemic control measures—which included vaccine and mask mandates, as well as isolation and contact tracing—of Cornell University, which was almost completely vaccinated, and found these policies were “not a match” for the Omicron variant and its rapid spread.

The UK is on the brink of a bottled beer shortage as stocks of glassware plummet and production costs soar, a leading Scottish wholesaler has warned.

Canadian actor Ryan Grantham, who has appeared on “Riverdale” and the 2010 film version of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” pleaded guilty to killing his mother in March — but now comes word he also allegedly plotted to kill Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as well.

 

That revelation came during the sentencing hearing for the 24-year-old Grantham, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder earlier this year.

 

According to the CBC, Grantham shot 64-year-old Barbara Waite in the back of the head in March 2020 while she was playing the piano.

 

During a hearing on Monday, the court heard how the actor rehearsed the killing beforehand and filmed a video afterwards where he confessed to the murder and showed his mother’s corpse on camera.

 

The day after the murder, officials said Grantham packed a car with guns, ammunition, 12 Molotov cocktails and camping supplies and hit the road with the intention of killing the prime minister.

 

His reason for doing so wasn’t made clear at the hearing.

 

However, when he got to Hope, B.C., he turned around, drove to Vancouver police headquarters and told police, “I killed my mum,” according to Complex.

 

Grantham also mentioned his plan to kill Trudeau in a statement to police and in an excerpt from his private journal that was read in court.

 

Two psychiatric reports presented at the hearing showed that Grantham was suffering clinical depression in the months leading up to the murder and had experienced urges to commit violence and kill himself, escalating feelings of self-hatred and guilt over his mother possibly learning he had stopped attending classes at college, according to the CBC.

 

The reports also said he had a cannabis use disorder.

 

If convicted, Grantham faces an automatic life sentence, but Canadian prosecutors are asking for 17 to 18 years of parole ineligibility. In Canada, people convicted of second-degree murder are typically eligible for parole in anywhere from 10 to 25 years.
