VALE, Ore. (AP) โ€” An Australian company has started drilling at a southeast Oregon site that could eventually host a large lithium mine.

 

Mineral exploration company Jindalee Resources Ltd. announced this week that itโ€™s working to determine the extent of a lithium deposit in southern Malheur County, Oregon Public Broadcasting reported.

 

The company said in a news release that the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries has approved drilling of 39 holes to shore up Jindaleeโ€™s estimate of how much lithium exists there.

 

Jindalee has said the deposit west of the Oregon-Nevada border town of McDermitt is among the largest lithium deposits in the United States.

 

Bob Brinkmann with the stateโ€™s Mineral Land Regulation and Reclamation office said this appears to be the first application received to explore for lithium in Oregon.

 

A request for comment by the media outlet from Jindalee has not been returned.

 

Lithium is an extremely lightweight metal seen as key to a global transition away from fossil fuels to renewable energy. The element is a critical component of rechargeable batteries used to power electric vehicles and store power generated by things like wind and solar.

 

The Biden administration has said it wants to significantly increase the amount of lithium sourced and processed in the United States. Jindalee says the McDermitt Lithium Project has potential to do both.

 

A proposed lithium mine on the caldera in Nevada has been controversial for its potential ecological harm, desecration of a historic massacre site, and possible disruptions to ranching.

One can hope they attempt a massive nationwide steal again and it's even more obvious this time around, so obvious that even their supporters can't deny it. Virginia school district sued for forcing teachers to hide students' gender identity from parents

 

Superintendent says district "offered a collaborative approach" with the plaintiffs "throughout our correspondence with them" after January warning letter. "They refused each time. Their way or the highway."

 

Virginia's Harrisonburg City Public Schools is violating the rights of parents and teachers by forcing the latter to address students by their preferred name and gender pronouns "on pain of discipline" while hiding students' gender identities from their parents, according to a new lawsuit.

 

The nondiscrimination policy and guidance, based on a model policy issued by the state Department of Education last year, both compels and restricts the speech of teachers in violation of the Virginia and U.S. constitutions and tramples their "religious convictions about gender and honesty," the suit says.

 

It's filed on behalf of parents and teachers by the Alliance Defending Freedom, which is involved in similar disputes in Kansas and Wisconsin.

 

The religious liberty law firm blacked out the plaintiffs' names in the version of the Rockingham County Circuit Court document it posted Saturday, but the Daily News-Record identified them as teachers Deborah Figliola, Kristine Marsh and Laura Nelson, and parents Timothy Nelson, John Stephens and Nicolette Stephens.

 

The district compels staff to "mislead and deceive parents," the group said in a press release, violating parents' state constitutional and statutory rights to "direct the upbringing and education of their children." It previously warned the district in a January letter.

 

The district policy of "immediate social transition and unquestioning affirmation without parental involvement for every case of gender dysphoria in minors is harmful, not to mention contrary to science," the suit says. "Each child's situation is unique and warrants loving and tailored attention-attention that is best determined not by school officials, but by parents."

 

Counselors were told to report any teachers not using preferred names and pronouns to the administration at an August 2021 training, the suit claims.

 

"Teachers and staff cannot willfully hide kidsโ€™ mental health information from their parents, especially as some of the decisions children are making at school have potentially life-altering ramifications," Senior Counsel Ryan Bangert said.

 

Superintendent Michael Richards told Just the News the district "offered a collaborative approach" with the plaintiffs "throughout our correspondence with them. They refused each time. Their way or the highway." He said he would post the correspondence this week.

In his testimony, David Eby said that the money laundering problem in British Columbia was so notorious that it was known among international intelligence groups as โ€œthe Vancouver modelโ€.

In this model, gamblers, usually from China, who do not have cash, take money from gangsters and deposit them into a casino โ€“ these are the proceeds of gang crime, often in amounts as high as hundreds of thousands of dollars. The gambler then transfers money from his Chinese bank account to a bank account under the control of the gang. The illicit cash he took from the gangsters is taken into the casino, a FINTRAC reporting form is completed, and the gambler is free to buy chips, gamble, and then, cash out.

A series of media reports in the past few weeks suggested that there was a clear relation between shady transactions, crime proceeds and the skyrocketing housing market around Vancouver and in the Lower Mainland, in particular.

Due to the high value of luxury cars and pleasure craft, these items are excellent for storing illegal cash and reintroducing it to the legitimate economy. It turns out that multiple sectors in British Columbia have been affected by money laundering activities. International crime gangs have been targeting Vancouverโ€™s economy, flooding it with proceeds from drug sales and other criminal activity. According to Eby, this continued for many years and is probably happening right now. Whether authorities will be capable of breaking that cycle and clearing Canadaโ€™s reputation remains to be seen.

A six-year cold-case investigation into the betrayal of Anne Frank has identified a surprising suspect in the mystery of how the Nazis found the hiding place of the famous diarist in 1944.

 

Anne and seven other Jews were discovered by the Nazis on August 4 of that year, after they had hid for nearly two years in a secret annex above a canal-side warehouse in Amsterdam. All were deported, and Anne died in the Bergen Belsen concentration camp at age 15.

 

A team that included retired US FBI agent Vincent Pankoke and some 20 historians, criminologists and data specialists identified a relatively unknown figure, Jewish notary Arnold van den Bergh, as a leading suspect in revealing the hideout.

 

Other experts emphasized that the evidence against him was not conclusive.

 

Investigating team member Pieter van Twisk said the crucial piece of new evidence was an unsigned note to Anneโ€™s father, Otto, found in an old postwar investigation dossier, specifically naming Van den Bergh and alleging he passed on the information.

Today, as ourtreasured National Health Service(kek) marks its 74th anniversary, weโ€™re taking a look back on its extensive history and the substantial role Manchester played in its creation.

Life before the NHS was a bleak one; before 1900, healthcare was typically provided by charities, poor law (the local welfare committees who operated workhouses) and a criminally unregulated private sector.

Others, including many in the lower middle class, struggled to afford treatment, relying on hospital casualty departments, kind-hearted doctors or dubious folk remedies โ€“ as a result of these archaic conditions, women frequently died during childbirth and the life expectancy for men was just forty-eight.

 

But in 1911, that was all set to change.

The National Insurance Act of 1911, something that many regard as the original groundworks for the NHS, was introduced and, for the first time, provided access to general practitioners for manual labourers and lower paid non-manual workers earning under a certain income.

 

However, this groundbreaking new system wasnโ€™t without its flaws โ€“ fees for GPs were increasing for the middle class and wealthy who were outside the system, and the wives and children of National Insurance members were excluded, as was hospital treatment, meaning that many had to pay further fees or rely on older workersโ€™ society insurance schemes or free, less reliable clinics for mothers and children.

 

Something needed to change.

Nearly two decades later, the Local Government Act 1929 gave authorities the power to transform Poor Law institutions and develop them into the modern hospitals we know today. And, fast forwarding another two decades and another world war, Aneurin Bevan was appointed as the minister of health and thus, the wheels for the UKโ€™s first National Health Service were set in motion.

 

On July 5th 1948, after years of hard work from various medical and political figures who felt the current healthcare system was insufficient and needed to be revolutionised, the first NHS hospital offering free healthcare for all, regardless of class, was launched at Park Hospital Manchester โ€“ known today as Trafford General Hospital.

 

On that historic day, Bevan arrived to inaugurate the NHS by symbolically receiving the keys from Lancashire County Council. Nurses formed a โ€˜guard of honourโ€™ outside the hospital to meet him and, from that day forward, the healthcare of the nation changed forever.

 

In the early days, there were of course some teething problems โ€“ not long after its launch, expenditure was already exceeding previous expectations and charges were considered for prescriptions to meet the rising costs. However, by the time the 1960s rolled around, these early adjustments were altered and it was considered to be a strong period of growth for the NHS, characterised by new developments in the availability of drugs.

 

Since its birth here in Manchester, our NHS has gone through many changes, improvements, updates and modernisation processes, with no one back in 1948 ever fathoming the way in which the service has developed, pioneered and expanded from Manchester across the entire country.

 

However, thereโ€™s still room for improvement.

Today, the NHS continues to face a national crisis โ€“ the Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the impact that years of underfunding has had upon our health care service and the long-serving staff members and medical professionals that continue to hold it together.

 

In October 2020, it was revealed by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) that as many NHS nurses died from Covid than were killed during the entirety of the First World War.

But regardless of the hurdles thrown in its path, the NHS continues to valiantly serve the British public โ€“ the idea of a National Health Service once upon a time would have been unheard of, yet today we cannot imagine a life without it.

Russian laser scientist dies two days after arrest for state treason

LONDON, July 3 (Reuters) - A Russian scientist who was arrested in Siberia last week on suspicion of state treason and flown to Moscow despite suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer has died, lawyers and a family member said on Sunday.

 

Physicist Dmitry Kolker, 54, had been taken from his hospital bed, where he was being fed through a tube, and bundled onto a flight of more than four hours to Moscow, where the lawyers said he was taken to Lefortovo prison and later died in a nearby hospital.

His cousin Anton Dianov told Reuters from the United States that the accusation against the laser specialist - that he had betrayed state secrets to China - was preposterous.

 

"He was a scientist, he loved his country, he was working in his country despite many invitations from leading universities and labs to go work abroad. He wanted to work in Russia, he wanted to teach students there," he said.

 

"These charges are absolutely ridiculous and extremely cruel and unusual to be levied on such a sick man. They knew that he was on his deathbed and they chose to arrest him."

The family and lawyers said Kolker was detained, and his house searched, by the FSB security service. They said the treason charges - which carry a sentence of up to 20 years - were based on lectures Kolker had delivered in China, even though the content had been approved by the FSB.

 

Reuters did not receive a reply to an emailed request for comment from the FSB.

 

Lawyer Alexander Fedulov told Reuters he had attempted to contact the authorities on behalf of Kolker but been turned away from the FSB investigative department and from the prison.

He said he would file a legal complaint on Monday over the circumstances of Kolker's detention.

 

On Saturday, state news agency TASS said Russia had detained a second scientist in Novosibirsk on suspicion of state treason. It was not clear if the two cases were connected. read more

 

A number of Russian scientists have been arrested and charged with treason in recent years for allegedly passing sensitive material to foreigners. Critics of the Kremlin say the arrests often stem from unfounded paranoia.

 

Dianov, the cousin, said Kolker was also a highly accomplished concert pianist and organist who performed in both Russia and Europe.

 

"To me, somebody who was producing such beautiful things could not have done what they accuse him of. And that's for ever how I'm going to remember him," he said, fighting back tears. "That's who Dima is to me and the rest of the family."

So if we assume that the white hats have gone after the elite, cutting off their money making, like drugs, children, blood/organs, etc they will reach a point where they are spending more than they are making with the elaborate lifestyle. Hence the selling off of the big mansions etc. They are scrambling for money to support themselves.

Each day they lose more than they make because the well has dried up.

What do they do? They start charging more for what they do have. Big corporations jacked up prices and blamed it on inflation. I think they are gouging to the public, not because of supply chain issues or shortages, but because they can charge more if the public 'thinks' there are shortages.

They are dying and they are trying to make as much money as possible as their sources of fast cash dry up. Eventually it will and they will be selling everything they own just to support themselves.

SHANGHAI, June 14 (Reuters) - A protest planned by hundreds of bank depositors in central China seeking access to their frozen funds has been thwarted because the authorities have turned their health code apps red, several depositors told Reuters.

 

The depositors were planning to travel to the central province of Henan this week from across China to protest against an almost two-month block on accessing at least $178 million of deposits, which has left companies unable to pay workers and individuals unable to access savings. read more

 

Rights groups have warned China could use its vast COVID surveillance infrastructure to stifle dissent. Without a green code on their smartphone app, citizens lose access to public transport and spaces such as restaurants and malls, as well as the right to travel across the country.

 

"They are putting digital handcuffs on us," said a depositor from Sichuan province surnamed Chen, who declined to use his full name for fear of government retribution.

 

The Henan provincial government, the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Public Security did not respond to requests for comment.

 

After recent COVID outbreaks, some regions in China have asked travellers to register their plans online.

 

A man surnamed Liu, who lives in Hubei province, found that his health code turned red on the morning of June 12 after he registered the day before to travel to Henan.

 

Liu had planned to travel to a protest planned for Monday in the Henan provincial capital Zhengzhou, where he had hoped to get his money back. The protest would have been the latest among numerous such demonstrations in Henan in recent months.

 

More than 200 depositors were similarly blocked when their health codes turned red, according to members of a WeChat group.

 

It could not be ascertained if the change in code was intended to block the protesters or for another reason, but three depositors told Reuters they knew people who had registered to travel to Henan, who were not connected to the frozen funds, whose codes did not turn red.

 

Yu Zhou Xin Min Sheng Village Bank, Shangcai Huimin Country Bank and Zhecheng Huanghuai Community Bank froze deposits on April 18, with all three telling customers they were upgrading internal systems. read more

 

Liu, who declined to give his full name for fear of government repercussions, said his child may not be able to go to school if his code does not soon revert to green.

 

"I can't do anything, I can't go anywhere. You're treated as though you're a criminal. It infringes on my human rights," said Liu.

 

Wang Qiong, who lives in the central city of Wuhan, found her health code had turned red after she registered to travel to Henan on June 11.

 

"The police had my identity details from the last time I went to protest in April," said Wang, who said she has lost access to 2.3 million yuan ($341,550).

 

Other depositors told Reuters they were able to arrive in Zhengzhou by train and car but their codes turned red as soon as they scanned city health codes.

Bergamo is the town most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, not only in the Lombardy Region but also throughout Italy, with >9000 COVID-positive cases, and 2300 ascertained deaths. Unfortunately, the infection is not even sparing young people.

 

The consequences of the COVID-19 emergency for the entire โ€˜Papa Giovanni XXIIIโ€™ Hospital of Bergamo have been dramatic. At present (mid-March), from a total of 779 hospital beds, >500 are occupied by COVID-positive patients. The 46 beds previously reserved for the ICU (intensive care unit) have been increased to 100, of which 88 are occupied by COVID-positive patients, all of them intubated and with an average age of 61 years.

 

Due to the shortage of resources , a triage of the patients to be intubated was needed, based on data such as age, presence of comorbidity, degree of respiratory failure severity, and life expectancy.

 

Although our hospital structure is at the forefront and with great flexibility for organization, during the last month it has run the risk of collapse, facing such a violent epidemic comparable to a tsunami, from which it differs in terms of time, lasting not a single day but more than a month.

The admission came as Boris Johnson's LGBT business champion Iain Anderson quit his post over the issue.

 

His resignation follows attempts to introduce a legal ban on the abhorrent practice of claiming to 'convert' gay people to heterosexuality.

 

While this particular proposal has been widely welcomed, some expressed concerns over the new law also preventing therapists from helping children with 'gender dysphoria' to decide whether they really want to transition.

 

Campaigners warned the legislation was so badly drafted that teachers could end up in court if they do not let boys play in girls' sports teams.

 

It was claimed last week that the Prime Minister had decided to ditch the plan โ€“ but Mr Johnson later confirmed that a law banning conversion therapy will indeed be in the Queen's Speech next month, although it will not cover transgender therapy.

 

In his letter to the PM, Mr Anderson said serving as the UK's first LGBT business champion had been 'the greatest privilege of my life' โ€“ but he felt he had 'no choice' but to resign. Learning that trans people 'would be excluded from the legislation and therefore not have the same immediate protections' was 'deeply damaging to my work', he wrote.

 

Mr Anderson added that it was 'profoundly shocking' that the Government had apparently backtracked on protection for transgender people in the same week that Jamie Wallis became the country's first MP to come out as transgender.

Western elites canโ€™t decide if they should sanction or seduce Africa in their attempts to counter Russia and China

 

In a scramble for influence, the US and its allies are reaching for both the carrot and the stick at the same time

 

In trying to find ways to effectively counter Russia and Chinaโ€™s partnerships in Africa, Washington โ€“ and its Western followers โ€“ is not content to just go for the honey or the vinegar โ€“ so officials are resorting to both at the same time.

 

Typically, the Western modus operandi has been to establish a footprint in the target foreign country through military intervention under a security pretext with the hope of eventually pivoting to an economic one. Recent history suggests that elites havenโ€™t quite been able to make the transition before their plans go pear-shaped. Unable to get their hands on the prize โ€“ typically, the countryโ€™s natural resources โ€“ they eventually either get kicked out (as was the case with France in Mali), or end up cutting their losses (like the US did in Afghanistan).

 

Russia and China have been able to effectively exploit the void created by misguided Western foreign military adventures. In the case of Mali, Russia offered the transitional government military helicopters, radars, and weapons, in addition to โ€œsoldiers and trainersโ€ reportedly operating in the African country (according to reports, these are from the Wagner private security company, but officials have distanced themselves from the group). Moscow is now parlaying that foothold into expanded cooperation.

 

โ€œWe paid special attention to the practical aspects of organizing deliveries from Russia of wheat, mineral fertilizers and petroleum products that are so much needed by the people of Mali today in conditions of illegitimate Western sanctions,โ€ Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a press conference, in May, with his Malian counterpart, Abdoulaye Diop. France and the US sanctioned the country in the wake of delayed elections following two coups, all under the watch of Paris' Operation Barkhane and the EUโ€™s training mission headquartered in the capital, Bamako.

 

And now Washington is forging ahead with a new tool to threaten African countries that defy its interests. The โ€˜Countering Malign Russian Activities in Africa Actโ€™ would target African governments, officials, and businesses doing business with Russia, qualified as โ€œmanipulationโ€ and โ€œexploitationโ€ of Africans to Russiaโ€™s benefit. The plan is in the same spirit as the โ€˜Countering Russian Influence in Europe and Eurasia Act of 2017โ€™ and the โ€˜Countering Americaโ€™s Adversaries Through Sanctions Actโ€™, targeting Iran, Russia, and North Koreaโ€ฆ but which also risks threatening India for purchasing a S-400 Russian missile defense system.

 

The same act was leveraged to halt the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline for the transport of Russian gas into Western Europe under threat of American sanctions โ€“ effectively opening up a potential new market for US liquified gas exports.

 

At the same time, the Western G7 bloc has proposed a $600 billion plan to build foreign infrastructure in Africa and Latin America, with Washington pledging $200 billion and the EU another $300 billion, and private businesses expected to get on board to invest. What are they going to do โ€“ sanction some of these countries and then demand that they take Western cash? How awkward.

 

The idea is to counter Chinaโ€™s Belt and Road project, albeit a decade late and hundreds of billions of dollars short. The message here is clear. These countries can either deal with Russia, China, and other American adversaries and get buried in sanctions, or else they can accept this wonderful opportunity to let Washington and its Western allies into the country to build nice things.

 

A long-standing US criticism of China is that it exploits its Belt and Road project to โ€˜debt trapโ€™ countries and impose its influence. But itโ€™s not like Washingtonโ€™s intent towards underdeveloped countries is purely altruisticโ€ฆ.

Grand Canyon Reports 118 Cases of Gastrointestinal Illness that Closely Resembles with Highly Contagious โ€˜Norovirusโ€™

 

The National Park Service announced that an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness has been reported at the Grand Canyon between the months of May and June, with up to 90 individuals experiencing symptoms that closely resemble norovirus.

 

Noroviruses are a group of viruses that cause gastroenteritis or the inflammation of the stomach or intestines in people. According to CDC, norovirus is a highly contagious virus that causes diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach pain and anyone can get infected and sick with the virus.

 

The National Park Service Office of Public Health issued an illness alert on May 20 while also advising visitors against using water from the nearby Colorado River, side streams, pools and springs, Fox News reported.

 

The alert stated, โ€œThere may have been a time when it was safe to use such sources, but no longer. Any untreated water has the potential to cause illness if it is not properly and carefully disinfected.โ€

 

The National Park Service released another update on the illness alert on Saturday. Below is the excerpt:

 

The National Park Service Office of Public Health has received reports of gastrointestinal illness among >150 private and commercial river rafters and back-country campers during April and May 2022. Symptoms include nausea, stomach cramping/pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. These symptoms are consistent with norovirus, and we have confirmed norovirus from at least eight rafting trips.

 

Comprehensive control measures have been implemented, and since early June, there has been a marked decrease in reports of illness. We are continuing to monitor and investigate the situation in collaboration with partners at Coconino County Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

 

Norovirus is a highly contagious virus โ€“ you can get norovirus from an infected person, contaminated food and water, or by touching contaminated surfaces. Norovirus causes sudden-onset vomiting and diarrhea that lasts 1โ€“3 days. On rafts and in camps, norovirus can spread quickly. The best way to prevent norovirus is to practice proper hand washing and general cleanliness and ensure the safety of your drinking water.

 

Public affairs specialist with the Grand Canyon National Park Service Joelle Baird told Fox News Digital on Thursday that they are trying to determine the source of the outbreak.

More details about the Secret Service bribery scandal are coming to light.

 

Apparently one of Joe Bidenโ€™s Secret Service Agents was involved in a bribery scheme that included two men posing as DHS agents.

 

As previously reported, federal prosecutors on Wednesday charged two men with posing as DHS agents, giving expensive gifts to Secret Service Agents.

 

A dozen FBI agents busted down the door of a luxury apartment in DC and arrested Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Ali, 36 on Wednesday night. Taherzadeh and Ali gave free apartments, iPhones, surveillance systems, drones and other tools to the Secret Service Agents. Four Secret Service officers โ€“ including one assigned to protect the First Lady, were placed on leave as the feds investigate.

 

Haider Ali told witnesses he was connected to Pakistani intelligence.

 

โ€œBoth U.S. citizens accused of the bribery hold passports with visas to Iran and Pakistan.โ€ Real Clear Politics reported. One of the Secret Service Agents caught up in this bribery scandal was assigned to Joe Bidenโ€™s detail.

Exxon is banning the LGBTQ pride flag from being flown outside its Houston corporate office during pride month in June.

 

The company updated guidance on acceptable flags which can be displayed outside offices, which included banning "external position flags," including the pride flag and Black Lives Matter flag, according to the new policy obtained by Bloomberg News.

 

The rule does permit a flag representing an LGBTQ employeesโ€™ group to be flown, but it can't prominently display the Exxon corporate logo, according to the report.

 

Exxon's move didn't go over well with members of the Exxon PRIDE Houston chapter who are now refusing to represent the company at Houston's pride celebration, the report states.

 

Flags representing employee resource groups at the company can be displayed, according to a spokesperson, and told Bloomberg News it supports that.

 

"The flags are directly related to our business and company support of our ERGs, including PRIDE for LGBTQ+ employees," the spokesperson said.

Photos of a strange, worm-like cloud taken over Alaska's Lazy Mountain prompted an investigation by Alaska State Troopers amid fears it could be a plane crash, a UFO or top secret Russian weapon.

 

Pictures posted to Facebook of the incident show a massive cloud plume on Thursday.

 

The photos sparked debate online as people questioned whether it could be a meteor, a crashed UFO or satellite, an eruption, and even a Russian weapon connected to the conflict in Ukraine.

 

The cloud garnered so much attention that Alaska State Troopers and the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center began investigating for a possible plane crash.

 

'There have been no reports of overdue aircraft or ELT activations indicating an aircraft crash,' Alaska State Troopers reported in a release.

 

A rescue team on a helicopter flew a mission around the Lazy Mountain area this morning and located nothing suspicious and there were no signs of crashed aircraft.'

 

Online, theories ran wild.

 

'We saw this on the way to school this morning as well. Very eerie!' Christy Hronkin Swift wrote on the Palmer Alaska Buzz Facebook page.

 

'Looks like a meteor. I wonder where it landed,' Cassi Joi posted.

 

'Could it be a satellite? Itโ€™s so strange,' Shannon Del Vecchio Watson said.

 

'No wings,' Susie Kuke Martin noted.

 

However, officials eventually offered a far more tame explanation for the bizarre cloud, claiming it was a contrail from a commercial jet.

 

'Further investigation revealed that a large commercial jet was flying in that area around the time that the photos and video were taken,' officials said.

 

'The aircraft was contacted and reported normal flight operations on its way to JFK airport in New York.'

 

'Troopers believe that the photos and videos showed a contrail from the commercial jet combined with the rising sun which together caused the unique atmospheric sight.'

 

The photos emerged a day after news energed hundreds of military officers reporting injuries, including brain damage and burns, after encounters with UFOs, a top brain expert and former CIA officer revealed.

 

Detroit Professor Christopher Green was commissioned around 2010 by a secret $22 million defense program monitoring UFOs, to write a paper on injuries from close encounters with 'anomalous' craft.

Russiaโ€™s Vladimir Putin unveiled a new scheme of international settlements, moving further away from the US financial system. In an address to the BRICS Business Forum Wednesday, he proposed a new reserve currency that will be used for payments in international trade.

 

Putin said the new payment method will be based off the basket of national currencies of BRICS member states: Brazil, Russia, India, China (PRC), South Africa and Russia. He then noted trade in goods and services within the bloc has surged in recent months amid failed Western sanctions.

 

โ€œOur countries are home to more than 3 billion people and together account for about a quarter of the global GDP, 20 percent of trade and roughly 25 percent of direct investments, while the total international reserves of the BRICS countries (as of the beginning of 2022) amount to about 35 percent of world reserves,โ€ Putin stated. โ€œThe Russian MIR payment system is expanding its presence. We are exploring the possibility of creating an international reserve currency based on the basket of BRICS currencies.โ€

 

Putin went on to say Russia is deepening trading ties with China and India while increasing technology cooperation with South Africa and Brazil.

Mason announced there will be four, three-hour sex education classes held at WinkWink next month as part of an event billed the "Uncringe Academy." The classes, which Mason will teach, are broken down by age, with 9- to 12-year-olds in one class and 13- to 17-year-olds in another class.

Class topics include, "What IS sex? Kinds of solo and partnered sexual activities," "Sexual anatomy for pleasure and reproduction," "Gender and sexual identities," "Safer sex practices for all kinds of sexual activities," among others.
