For Ignatius, whether one was rich or poor, healthy or sick, in an assignment one enjoyed or one didn't, was comfortable in a culture or not, etc., should be a matter of spiritual indifference—a modern phrasing might put it as serene acceptance. Hence, a Jesuit (or one following Ignatian spirituality) placed in a comfortable, wealthy neighborhood should continue to live the Gospel life without anxiety or possessiveness, and if plucked from that situation to be placed in a poor area and subjected to hardships should with a sense of spiritual joy accept that as well, looking only to do God's will.

As for his visit to Syria, the FM said that its importance lies in the fact that Iran and Syria are currently in a new phase of comprehensive cooperation, especially in the economic and trade fields.
Furthermore, as he just came from Turkey, he highlighted Iran's understanding of Ankara's security issues and said Tehran strongly opposes "military attempts" in Syria made under any justification, adding that Iran is working to resolve existing misunderstandings between the two neighboring countries through diplomacy and dialogue.
Iran had previously voiced its refusal of Turkey's military incursion into Syria and said it considered such military action to be "a violation of the territorial integrity and national sovereignty" of Syria.

Death row UK fighter in Donbass warns family about ‘time running out’
Aiden Aslin has told his relatives that his death sentence in the Donetsk People’s Republic will likely go ahead
British national Aiden Aslin, who was captured in the midst of fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces in Mariupol, has told his family that his death sentence will likely be carried out.
Earlier this month, the court in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) sentenced Aslin, his compatriot Shaun Pinner, and Moroccan Saaudun Brahim, to death. The three men, who fought on the Ukrainian side, were found guilty of mercenarism, terrorist offenses and attempting to overthrow the government of the republic.
Aslin’s family told the BBC on Wednesday that he called them on the phone and said he had been warned by DPR representatives that his “time is running out.”
“There are no words; just no words. It’s got to be everyone’s worst nightmare to have a member of your family threatened in this way,” the fighter’s grandmother, Pamela Hall, said.
She told the outlet Aslin was “extremely upset” while talking to his mother. “The bottom line isAiden has said the DPR has told him nobody from the UK has made contact, and that he will be executed,” she said.
“I have to believe what Aiden has said to us, that if the DPR don’t get some response then they will execute him. Obviously, I hope that isn't true,” Hall added.
She also said she believed “contact should be made between the UK and Russia” regarding her grandson’s fate.
British authorities approached the Kremlin about Aslin and Pinner earlier this week. But, according to Russian ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin, the message from London was “written in extremely arrogant, instructive terms. It doesn’t make us want to cooperate on these issues.”
Moscow insists London should talk directly to the Donetsk People’s Republicabout its citizens, but the UK has been reluctant to do so as it doesn’t recognize the DPR’s independence.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, who says that Aslin and Pinner should be treated as POWs, not mercenaries, has called their trial in Donetsk a “sham judgment with absolutely no legitimacy.”
The UK fighters’ hopes to be released as part of a prisoner swap between Russia and Ukraine have been shattered by the DPR’s head, Denis Pushilin. The official said last week that he saw no grounds to pardon the foreigners, who “came to Ukraine to kill civilians for money.”
In his interview with RT earlier this month, Aslin revealed that he felt abandoned by both London and Kiev, saying that all of his attempts to contact the Ukrainian authorities from captivity have been in vain…

Flying RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum) began to gain momentum approx 1997-2005 around the world. In specific cases, many of the older US military aircraft weren't able to attain certification to fly RVSM till 2012 ish. I only know this (or anything for that matter about this topic) because I certified a handful of them.
Why am I pointing this out? First, chem-trails are real, don't misunderstand me. Contrails, specifically those created in the RVSM airspace tend to linger for obscenely long times due to extreme temperature differential, thinner density and less turbulence (hence the reason they fly in that realm), I often see people point to the sky and conflate the two, they are different.
The cartoon, IMO would likely demonstrate RVSM contrails due to the crossing of the earths horizon.
All of that being said, they could still be spraying shit in the RVSM too so, take this as just info.

As of Monday, May 30th, Urals was trading at a $35 discount to Brent crude per barrel. Saudi Arabia’s flagship Arab Light, categorised by S&P Global as medium sour as well, was trading at $116.31 per barrel as of Monday.
The UAE’s Upper Zakum, which has comparable medium sour chracteristics to Urals, was trading at $113.87 per barrel Monday.
Iraq’s Basrah Light is also relatively close to Urals in terms of API gravity and sulfur content to Urals but Iraq has excluded that grade from 2022 allocation options.
To cut a long and tedious story short, the OPEC basket was trading at close to $119 per barrel Monday before the EU embargo agreement was announced. After the announcement, it rose to $120.
I don’t think we need to guess where OPEC oil prices are headed for the rest of the week or the next few months, really. In other words, proud and moral EU will be paying a lot more for the oil that, disgusting as it may be, it still needs.
But it’s not just refinery configurations that will limit the choice of EU buyers in crude grades. Availability will play a significant role as well and availability is, not to put too fine a point on it, quite tight.
In April, OPEC produced a quite impressive 2.7 million bpd of crude less than it was supposed to under its own output recovery quotas. In the current price environment this could, and does, mean two things: first, some members cannot produce more than they are already producing and second, other members have done what they could for oil prices and couldn’t do any more.
What’s left? U.S. oil, of course. The United States exported 4.341 million barrels of crude daily in the week to May 20, the latest week there’s detailed data for. This compared with 3.52 million bpd a week earlier, so there’s a solid increase.
The U.S. exported even more refined products, at 6.235 million bpd during that most recent week with detailed data. A lot of that, though not all, went to Europe. And a lot of it will probably continue to go to Europe. If refiners can cope, that is.
Reuters earlier this week published a report that should cause concern, and a lot of it. The report suggests that global refining capacity is lower than it needs to be in order to satisfy demand for oil products. And the U.S., specifically, has slipped into something fascinatingly called a structural deficit of refining capacity, for the first time in decades. That capacity is down by 1 million bpd since 2019, according to official data cited in the report.
As a result, of course, the operating refineries have had to increase their utilisation rates, especially with exports booming, with rates reaching over 92%. The fun part is that "We've been at this 93% utilization; generally, you can't sustain it for long periods of time," according to Valero Energy’s chief commercial officer Gary Simmons.

Report: “No Evidence of a Climate Crisis”
A new report, released this month by the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF), states that empirical evidence shows that, despite the dire predictions of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), there is “no evidence of a climate crisis.” Professor Ole Humlum of the University of Oslo laid out his case in his annual State of the Climate Report.
Humlum is a professor emeritus of physical geology and hydrology, with a specific interest in geomorphology and climate variability. He believes that much of the “climate change” that we see is the result of poorly understood but very natural cycles.
Humlum does report some gentle warming of the planet, but finds no cause for the alarm bells being sounded by climate alarmists.
“Air temperatures measured near the planet’s surface (surface air temperatures) are at the center of many climate discussions, but the significance of any short-term warming or cooling should not be overstated,” the report states.
According to Humlum, “Since 1979, lower Troposphere temperatures have increased over both land and oceans, but most clearly over the land. The most straightforward explanation for this is that much of the warming is caused by solar insolation, but there may be several secondary reasons, such as changes in cloud cover and land use.”
So, yes, there has been “gentle warming” of the Earth, most likely caused by the Sun.
Much of the angst and fervor regarding climate change comes from predictive climate modeling, which is based on an incomplete understanding of the Earth’s climate system. Climate models can be a good tool for understanding how certain phenomena affect the climate, but they routinely overestimate the effect of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses. They were never meant to be predictive tools.
“A year ago, I warned that there was great risk in using computer modeling and immature science to make extraordinary claims. The empirical observations I have reviewed show very gentle warming and no evidence of a climate crisis.” Humlum said in a press release.
Humlum’s concern for the overemphasis on climate modeling was shared by GWPF Director Benny Peiser: “It’s extraordinary that anyone should think there is a climate crisis. Year after year our annual assessment of climate trends document just how little has been changing in the last 30 years. The habitual climate alarmism is mainly driven by scientists’ computer modeling rather than observational evidence.”
Among the empirical data shared by Humlum in his report, sea-level rise might not be the emergency that climate alarmists claim: “While the satellite record suggests a global sea-level rise of about 3.3mm per year or more, data from tide gauges all over the world suggest a stable rise of 1–2mm per year. The tide gauges indicate no recent acceleration (or deceleration) of sea-level rise.”
Declining sea ice, which climate alarmists believe could destroy habitat for polar bears, appears to be stabilizing: “In 2021, global sea-ice cover remained well below the average for the satellite era, but is now increasing.”

LA City Council Votes To Ban Homeless Encampments Near Schools
A hearing to reconsider an ordinance banning homeless encampments within 500 feet of schools and daycare centers is set for July 27 after the Los Angeles City Council failed to give the proposal its unanimous approval.
The council voted 10-1 in favor of the ordinance, with Councilman Mike Bonin dissenting. Since the vote was not unanimous, the matter will return to the council for a second vote following the summer recess.
The vote on June 1 came during a sometimes-raucous meeting that was repeatedly interrupted by shouting from the audience.
The ordinance is an amendment to the city’s sweeping law regulating the location of homeless encampments. Municipal Code 41.18 prohibits sitting, sleeping, lying or otherwise obstructing the public right of way in several areas of the city.
Those areas include within 2 feet of any fire hydrant or fire plug; within 5 feet of any operational or utilizable entrance or exit; within 10 feet of a loading dock or driveway; in a manner that interferes with any activity for which the city has issued a permit or restricts accessible passage as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act; or anywhere within a street, including bike paths.
The law already protects the public right of way within 500 feet of “sensitive” facilities such as schools, day care facilities, parks and libraries—but only if each specific location is designated by the council for enforcement.
The amendment given tentative approval on July 1, and approved last week by the council’s Homelessness and Poverty Committee, is a blanket ban on encampments within 500 feet of all schools.
Councilmen Mitch O’Farrell and Paul Krekorian spoke in favor of the ordinance, dismissing allegations by opponents that the council is only trying to cover up the homelessness issue rather than address it through housing and services.
Multiple opponents of the measure began shouting from the audience as the councilmen spoke, bringing the meeting to a halt while Council President Nury Martinez issued warnings then ordered at least three people to be ejected from the council chamber. O’Farrell and Krekorian, both visibly angered, said the conduct exemplified the “bullying” tactics of some organizations. O’Farrell accused them of spreading “disinformation.”

Kremlin: Americans captured in Ukraine committed crimes
Two Americans apprehended in Ukraine while fighting alongside Kiev's troops were "endangering" Russian servicemen and should be "held accountable for those crimes," Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told NBC News on Monday.
According to NBC, the interview is the first time the Kremlin has spoken on the cases of Alexander Drueke and Andy Huynh, both US military veterans.
"They're soldiers of fortune and they were involved in illegal activities on the territory of Ukraine. They were involved in firing and shelling our military personnel. They were endangering their lives," Peskov told the news outlet.
"They should be held responsible for those crimes that they have committed," he added. "Those crimes have to be investigated."
When asked about the crimes committed by the Americans, Peskov refused to comment, asserting that they would not be protected by the Geneva rules on prisoners of war.
"They are not (in the) Ukrainian army, so they are not subject to the Geneva Conventions," he explained.
Drueke and Huynh's social media recordings were shown by a Russian state TV program last week.
The circumstances behind the two men's detention were unclear, as was who was detaining them. Peskov would only state that "authorities" were holding them.
"It depends on the investigation," Peskov said of whether they may face the death sentence.
US President Joe Biden said on Friday that he had no idea where Drueke and Huynh were. They are thought to have joined other foreigners in serving alongside Ukrainian forces.
On Saturday, a US State Department official acknowledged that American authorities had viewed images and recordings of the two US nationals who had been "reportedly captured by Russia's military forces in Ukraine."
"We are closely monitoring the situation and our hearts go out to their families during this difficult time," a spokesperson told AFP.
Regarding Brittney Griner, who is being held in Russia over drug charges, Peskov denied she was being held hostage.
"We cannot call her a hostage. Why should we call her a hostage? She violated Russian law and now she is being prosecuted," the Kremlin Spokesperson said.
She was detained at Moscow airport in February on charges of carrying vape cartridges with cannabis oil in her luggage, which has a possible 10-year sentence in prison.

Putin to deliver ‘extremely important’ speech – Kremlin
Russia’s president is expected to comment on the global energy and food crisis in a landmark speech
Russian President Vladimir Putin will deliver a speech at the annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday. It will be his first major appearance before an international audience since Russia launched its military campaign in Ukraine in late February.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Putin’s speech this year will be “extremely important.”
He added that the president will focus on the Russian economy, but also comment on global events.
Putin is expected to address the rise in energy prices and the looming global food crisis, among other matters.
The president will take part in a SPIEF plenary session, moderated by RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan.
SPIEF is an annual gathering of business leaders, investors and politicians. The forum started on Wednesday and will run through June 18.
This year’s event has been overshadowed by sweeping sanctions imposed on Moscow by EU and NATO member states, with many large corporations leaving the Russian market.
Putin said this month that companies leaving the Russian market will come to regret the move. On Thursday, he linked the exodus to countries “which can’t make sovereign decisions.”

Amazing, there is no coincidence that this bread was named "Miracles Walk Among Us Edition" as another miracle was performed by God as I testified to His Light. My wife was debating me about scripture and I gave her a discourse in front of two other passengers that were waiting for the bus with us. They seemed interested by their expressions so I included them in the conversation by not only quoting scripture, interpreting the meanings, but then testifying to what Moses saw in great detail. My wife's understandings are mainly influenced by the church although she won't admit it. Nevertheless, the two passengers said they were Christians and seemed to agree with what I was saying by their surprised expressions they had on their faces; as when someone looks at something in a different way and things start to make more sense.
I was mainly telling them about Elijah, the two witnesses, John the Baptist, how only God can give Revelation, and how God's Light is real and appeared over my head. I told them, that I say these things and wish everyone in the world could experience this because then they would all turn away from evil. Mind you, that wouldn't stop them from fighting evil but from instigating evil.
I ask my wife to testify about the star pendant that seeped an oily resin last time I talked about Revelation(s), David, the Seven Churches, the two anointed witnesses, plus Remalia, Rezin, and Samaria. She gladly showed them this picture and at least one was convinced. As I faced all three, all of a sudden two black birds, flew on two of the bus stop signs behind me at each shoulder. They were less than 2 feet away and the signs were about six feet tall; so they were just above my eye level. The two passengers were amazed, and I asked the two birds if my testimony was true. With that they both pointed their heads downwards towards my face as if to get closer and both crowed several times as an acknowledgement looking directly into my eyes.
They all knew that this was a small miracle by the astonishment on their faces. I told them God did this for them, that they might believe, and to show them that they are worthy of signs. Then i said to all of them, didn't I just tell you about the disciples questioning about God's kingdom come. and what he said about evil wicked generations, no signs given, about Elijah coming first, and how they all did whatever they wanted when he came. Didn't I just mention the two anointed witnesses, Elijah and Moses? They agreed that was part of my discourse.
My wife then tried to explain about the two black birds that plucked out the eyes of the mocker that was on the cross. Once again, this understanding is of the church not by Revelation. Black birds represent souls waking up with new spiritual eyes from the darkness, go look up stories of them and magpies. I explained that one on the cross believed by faith and that the other will have to go through the darkness of the soul before his spiritual eyes can be opened. In other words, most will truly come to believe only after death but God has left us a way out, if we can just open our spiritual eyes now. I always testified to this: God gives Revelation as a gift in life and as Grace in death. Choose.
