The Colonel referenced Bidenโ€™s recent pledge to deliver an advanced rocket system to the Ukrainian government, a move that could inch NATO closer to a direct conflict with Russia. While MacGregor noted that the equipment is solid, he pointed out that Biden has pledged to send just one launcher.

 

He also pointed out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lack the ability to acquire targets, as much of their radar and air assets have been destroyed.

Given the demographic alarms sounding about population decline, this welcome realization may well come sooner than later.

 

More than ever, it is the duty of pro-life Americans to uphold all children as the blessing they are by doing whatever we can to care for them and to support their parents, whether biological or adoptive. As pro-life organizations continue working for a recognition of the sanctity of life by every person in every place, the care of that life at all its stages and the promotion of pro-natalist policies become even more essential elements of our work.

$54M in Chinese gifts donated to UPenn, home of Biden Center

 

A government watchdog is demanding the US Attorney probing Hunter Biden in Delaware investigate tens of millions in anonymous donations from China to the University of Pennsylvania, where an academic center is named for his father, President Biden.

 

The Ivy League college raked in a total of $54.6 million from 2014 through June 2019 in donations from China, including $23.1 million in anonymous gifts starting in 2016, according to public records.

 

Most of the anonymous donations came after the university announced in February 2017 that it would create the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Joe Biden, whose term as vice president had just ended, was to lead the center and was also named a professor at the university.

 

The center, which is located in Washington, DC., opened its doors in February 2018. Antony Blinken, whom Biden named as Secretary of State, briefly served as its managing director.

 

The Ivy League university received $15.8 million in anonymous Chinese gifts that year, including one eye-popping $14.5 million donation in May 2018, records show.

 

The flurry of donations may be related to Hunter Bidenโ€™s business interests in China, the National Legal and Policy Center, a Virginia-based watchdog, alleged in complaints sent in May and October 2020 to the Departments of Education and Justice.

 

Last week, the group asked US Attorney David Weiss to step in and investigate the Chinese largesse to the school as part of his federal tax probe of Hunter Biden.

 

โ€œWeโ€™ve asked โ€ฆ Weiss to pursue the larger network of individuals and institutions who benefited from millions doled out by foreign interests connected to Hunter Bidenโ€™s work in China and Ukraine,โ€ said Tom Anderson, director of the NLPCโ€™s Government Integrity Project.

Ex-Trump Adviser Peter Navarro Pleads Not Guilty to Contempt of Congress Charges

 

Peter Navarro, a White House adviser during the Trump administration, pleaded not guilty on June 17 to contempt of Congress charges.

 

Navarro was hit with the misdemeanor charges earlier in June, after declining to cooperate with the House of Representatives panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol, citing executive privilege due to his former position at the White House.

 

Navarro had been representing himself before the issue turned into a criminal one.

 

โ€œObviously being put in leg irons and having people want to put me in prison have changed matters,โ€ Navarro told reporters outside the federal courthouse in Washington.

 

Navarro has also said he was denied a call to a lawyer after being arrested, which prosecutors have denied.

 

During Fridayโ€™s hearing, Navarroโ€™s attorneys asked for the trial to take place in 2023 so that constitutional questions surrounding the privilege invocation could be resolved, WUSA-TV reported.

 

They also said Navarro plans to go on a tour beginning in September promoting his new book, โ€œTaking Back Trumpโ€™s America: Why We Lost the White House and How Weโ€™ll Win it Back.โ€

 

Prosecutors said the government was ready to start the trial sooner.

 

U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta set the start of the trial for Nov. 17, but indicated that might not be the final trial date.

 

Navarro is the second former Trump adviser charged for refusing to cooperate with the House Jan. 6 panel.

 

Steve Bannon, who has also cited privilege, was the first.

 

Bannonโ€™s motion to dismiss the charges was rejected by U.S. District Court Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, this week.

The Supreme Court ruled in March that Americans have no right to learn the grisly details of CIA torture because the CIA has never formally confessed its crimes. The case symbolizes how the rule of law has become little more than legal mumbo-jumbo to shroud official crimes. And it is another grim reminder that Americans cannot rely on politically approved lawyers wearing bat suits to save their freedoms.

 

In 2002, the CIA captured Abu Zubaydah, a Palestinian radical, in Pakistan and falsely believed he was a kingpin with al Qaeda. The CIA tortured him for years in Thailand and Poland. As Justice Neal Gorsuch noted, the CIA โ€œwaterboarded Zubaydah at least 80 times, simulated live burials in coffins for hundreds of hours,โ€ and brutalized him to keep him awake for six days in a row. The CIA has admitted some of the details of the torture, and Zubaydahโ€™s name was mentioned more than a thousand times in a 683-page Senate report released in 2014 on the CIA torture regime. But the Supreme Court permitted the CIA to pretend that the case is still secret.

The Holy Relic of โ€œState Secretsโ€

 

This case turned on the invocation of a holy bureaucratic relic of dubious originโ€”โ€œstate secrets.โ€ As the courtโ€™s 6โ€“3 ruling, written by Justice Stephen Breyer, noted, โ€œTo assert the [state secrets] privilege, the Government must submit to the court a โ€˜formal claim of privilege, lodged by the head of the department which has control over the matter.โ€™โ€ This is akin to permitting the Wizard of Oz to rotely certify that his curtain must remain closed for the good of all the munchkins in Oz. After a federal agency announces that it is entitled to secrecy, the court โ€œshould exercise its traditional โ€œreluctance to intrude upon the authority of the Executive in military and national security affairs,โ€ Breyer wrote. Breyer neglected to explain how self-government can be reconciled with near-total secrecy of an elected governmentโ€™s foreign and military policies.

This case illustrated the fantasy world that permeates official Washington, D.C., controversies. In 2019, federal Judge Richard Paez rejected the CIAโ€™s privilege claim because โ€œin order to be a โ€˜state secret,โ€™ a fact must first be a โ€˜secret.โ€™โ€ Even the president of Poland admitted that crimes were committed at that CIA torture site in his country.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has appeared to stonewall an information request from the Institute for Energy Research (IER) asking for correspondence between Chairman Richard Glick and White House officials in light of the agencyโ€™s recent climate-related pipeline policies.

โ€œGiven that the White House has announced their intention to nominate Chairman Glick to another full term on the commission, it is of the utmost importance that this committee determine whether Commissioner Glick was indeed being truthful when he denied any White House involvement in the development of the controversial pipeline policy statements,โ€ Pyle said.

 

 

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has appeared to put off an information request related to the agencyโ€™s communications with White House officials.

 

 

The Institute for Energy Research (IER), a Washington, D.C.-based energy policy group, requested copies of all email correspondence between FERC Chairman Richard Glick and the White House beginning in September 2021, in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request dated March 29, according to documents shared with The Daily Caller News Foundation. The IER filed the request after Glick said under oath, during a March 3 Senate hearing, that he hadnโ€™t consulted with any Biden administration higher-ups about implementing policies blocking domestic natural gas pipeline development.

 

 

โ€œAbsolutely not,โ€ Glick โ€” who President Joe Biden nominated to lead the commission in early 2021 โ€” said in response to a question from Republican Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy about potential communications with โ€œanyone higher up in the administrationโ€ regarding FERCโ€™s recent pipeline policy proposal.

 

 

On Feb. 17, the Democratic-majority FERC approved two measures to require more stringent climate and greenhouse gas emissions analyses of natural gas pipelines prior to approval. Glick characterized the policy change as โ€œlong overdueโ€ in a statement at the time.

 

 

IER asked FERC to provide Glickโ€™s correspondence with the White House by April 26, 20 weekdays after filings the FOIA request. However, nearly three months have elapsed since the initial FOIA request, FERC has delayed its response and IER said the agency has yet to provide the documents

 

 

IER President Tom Pyle said he was concerned the commission was employing delaying tactics to avoid complying with the information request in a letter to Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chairman Joe Manchin and Ranking Member John Barrasso on May 25.

The final global financial system will have:

โ€“ Local currency: for daily trading.

โ€“ International currency: for international between 2 nations/regions.

โ€“ Digital currency: for trading in digital cyber world.

 

The local currency will be managed, issued by local winning political party, so it could be unlimited quantity.

 

The international currency will be limited in quantity and the money will be issued based on fair equal opportunity to all the people in the system. Only people come from nations with population of 1 million people should be allowed to join in.

 

The digital currency will be issued by certain reputation group/people from around the world.

 

In this system the local currency will be the core, while the international currency and digital currency are the harmless one.

Because the international currency can be reset at anytime if >50% population think it operating unfair. While the digital currency can be tracked and even โ€œmanageโ€ via the exchange center.

 

More importantly, no matter how much international currency & digital currency you have, you still must โ€œexchangeโ€ it to daily life local currency for using, if you do not exchange to local currency then even if you have zillion money then it is harmless for the society !

And the local currency will be controlled by local winning political party so the power will be back with the people.

 

I can see 1000+ local currencies in the near future.

All the current money fiat paper issued by the central banks are just because certain gods/entities โ€œforceโ€ the people to do so.

 

Some nation will have/use 3 difference currencies like above, some only need 2, some only have 1 like the current present. It is all up to each people ideology, thinking.

 

The roll out could be ugly, chaos or in silent mode.

In ugly chaos mode: then some big group/entity will reveal it globaly all 3 currencies.

In silent peace mode: then it will be digital currency =international currency => local currency.

 

The roll out of each phase could takes from few years to few decades depend on the public awareness and level of adapting.

 

Since I am not in charge of the roll out, so I can only give you the brief vision and strategy only.

Federal Judge Blocks Biden Administration Restrictions On Immigration Arrests

 

It's undeniable that Democrats want an open southern border; all of their policies and demands show that this is the case. Not only that, but they viciously attack any attempt to pass voter ID laws, which correlates rather well with their immigration stance. During the covid pandemic the only meaningful government intervention was the actual enforcement of border protections and the expulsion of illegal immigrants under Title 42, as common sense and the law requires. However, with the covid doomfest over Democrats returned, calling for Joe Biden to end border protections and open the floodgates.

 

Biden did them one better and initiated a policy through the Department of Homeland Security that was designed to greatly limit which illegal immigrants Border Patrol officers and ICE agents were allowed to arrest and deport.

 

Luckily, that order has now been negated by US District Court Judge Drew Tipton in Texas, who states that the DHS had no authority to issue a September 2021 memo which directed immigration officials to focus only on illegals that are deemed a "threat to public safety or national security" and those illegals that are in the midst of crossing the border. In other words, they were to ignore any illegals that have already managed to sneak into the US. One could argue that ALL illegal immigration is a threat to national security.

 

Judge Tipton added that the memo was enacted in an "arbitrary and capricious fashion" contrary to federal administrative law.

 

During Title 42 enforcement and covid era border protections, border patrol agents expelled over 1.6 million illegal immigrants from the US. After Biden's new policy initiatives, illegal immigration rose by over 1 million people and the rate of border crossings is climbing.

 

Democrats now argue that the war in Ukraine justifies open border initiatives because of asylum seekers, but such asylum seekers represent a tiny minority of actual immigrants coming into the US, and an even smaller percentage of illegal immigrants crossing the border without going through proper channels. Furthermore, Ukrainians are not special and should have to go through the normal asylum process as any other immigrant. There is no excuse for illegally crossing into the US.

 

The Biden White House now faces over a dozen separate lawsuits over its destructive border rules and its blatant attempts to hinder or cripple border officers.

I know a grunt who was in that action. A young 20 yr. old man. He was in the reserves, got called up, served and came home. I was probably the first person he opened up to when he got back. Former Sydney councillor received 'bags of cash' in bribes from Chinese developer, ICAC told

 

A former Sydney councillor has told the anti-corruption watchdog he accepted bribes of $170,000 from a Chinese developer in exchange for his support of two major development proposals.

On Tuesday, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) began its public hearings into the conduct of former Georges River councillors Constantine Hindi, Vincenzo Badalati and Philip Sansom as part of Operation Galley.

 

All three councillors served on Hurstville Council, before it merged with Kogarah Council to form Georges River Council in 2016.

 

They are alleged to have accepted benefits for helping Chinese developers get planning proposals approved for two major developments in Hurstville โ€” the $29 million Treacy Street project (an 11-storey mixed-use apartment block) and the Landmark Square development (a complex of 19-storey residential buildings).

 

The projects were by developers Ching Wah (Philip) Uy, Wensheng Liu and Yuqing Liu and required councillors to make exceptions to the seven-storey building restriction in the area.

 

Former councillor Vincenzo Badalati told the inquiry on Tuesday Mr Uy gave him $70,000 for assisting with the Treacy Street project and another $100,000 for the Landmark Square development.

 

Mr Badalati detailed the day in 2015 when he met Mr Uy at a coffee shop in Kingsgrove and received $70,000 for the Treacy Street development, which he voted in favour of in 2014.

 

"He [Mr Uy] got a bag out and handed it to me and said 'thank you for your help on Treacy Street'," Mr Badalati told the inquiry.

 

"I saw the money when I got home. They were all bundled hundred-dollar notes. I put it in my safe. I told Constantine Hindi."

 

The other cash gift of $100,000 was handed over at a park in Rhodes in 2016 during a meeting between Mr Badalati, Mr Hindi and Mr Uy.

 

The money was intended to guarantee the councillors' favourable vote on the Landmark Square development.

 

"He [Mr Uy] opened his boot and gave us two bags each," Mr Badalati said.

 

"He said 'thank you for your assistance on Landmark'.

 

"Some went into the bank and some were spent."

Fulton grand jury subpoenas Giuliani, Graham, Trump campaign lawyersAJC is far left

The Fulton County special grand jury investigating potential criminal interference in Georgiaโ€™s 2020 elections has subpoenaed key members of former President Donald Trumpโ€™s legal team, including his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, according to copies obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

In addition toGiuliani, among those being summoned are John Eastman, Cleta Mitchell, Kenneth Chesebro and Jenna Ellis, all of whom advised the Trump campaign on strategies for overturning Democrat Joe Bidenโ€™s wins in Georgia and other swing states.

The grand jury alsosubpoenaed South Carolina U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of Trumpโ€™s top allies in the U.S. Senate, and attorney and podcast host Jacki Pick Deason.

The subpoenas were filed July 5 and signed off by Fulton Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney(today), who is overseeing the special grand jury. They noted that all seven people were โ€œa necessary and material witnessโ€ to the investigation.

Unlike subpoenas issued to Georgians, the summons were required to receive McBurneyโ€™s blessing since they are for people who reside outside the state.

The 23-person special grand juryhas heard testimony in recent weeks from a parade of witnesses, including some who had direct contact with Trump and his associates in late 2020 and early 2021. But Tuesdayโ€™s subpoenas are the closest jurors have gotten to the Trump campaign or inner circle of the former president.

Giuliani, Trumpโ€™s personal lawyer, testified before Georgia legislators in late 2020, showing edited surveillance video of ballots being tabulated at Atlantaโ€™s State Farm Arena. The former New York City Mayor said the tape was a โ€œpowerful smoking gunโ€ of election workers pulling out โ€œsuitcasesโ€ of ballots to count after sending Republican poll watchers home.

Eastman, a former law professor, was a key architect of the plan to press Vice President Mike Pence to reject the official Democratic electors in Georgia and other swing states and opt for an alternative slate of GOP electors. A federal judge in March argued that โ€œit is more likely than not that President Trump and Dr. Eastman dishonestly conspired to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2021.โ€

Eastman testified at the same Georgia hearing as Giuliani, during which he argued that there was โ€œmore than enoughโ€ evidence of fraud and improper conduct to warrant Georgia lawmakers picking an alternative slate of presidential electors.

โ€œI donโ€™t think itโ€™s just your authority to do that,โ€ Eastman said, โ€œbut, quite frankly, I think you have a duty to do that to protect the integrity of the election here in Georgia.โ€

Deason and Ellis also spoke at the same hearing.

Cheseboro worked with the leadership of the Georgia GOP to coordinate a slate of alternate Republican electors, according to his subpoena. The DAโ€™s office said Cheseboro drafted at least two memos in support of the plan and provided a template of documents to the party for its sham ceremony at the Georgia Capitol on Dec. 14, 2020.

 

Mitchell, a conservative lawyer based in Washington, D.C., advised Trump on the infamous Jan. 2, 2021, call that the Republican placed to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. During that conversation, in which Trump asked Raffensperger to โ€œfindโ€ 11,780 votes, Mitchell aided Trump as he made unsubstantiated claims about Georgiaโ€™s elections.

 

Graham separately called Raffensperger and his staff twice in the weeks following the November 2020 elections โ€œabout reexamining certain absentee ballots cast in Georgia in order to explore the possibility of a more favorable outcome for former President Donald Trump,โ€ his subpoena alleges. Graham previously denied wrongdoing.

It may be difficult for Fulton prosecutors to secure testimony from Giuliani, Eastman, Mitchell, Chesebro, Deason and Ellis, since they could argue attorney-client privilege. Eastman sought out the exemption as he sought to block the handover of evidence to the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack, though he was largely shot down by a federal judge.

 

Bob Costello, Giulianiโ€™s attorney, declined to comment and said his client had not been served any subpoena. A spokesman for Graham did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Fulton County DA Fani Willis launched the criminal probe into Georgiaโ€™s elections in February 2021, weeks after a recording of the Trump-Raffensperger phone call leaked. Sheโ€™s since expanded the investigation to include the fake GOP electors, Giulianiโ€™s testimony to state legislators and other efforts to pressure Georgia officials to act in Trumpโ€™s favor.

Democrats are vowing to implement a โ€œtransformativeโ€ plan that seeks to add about a million foreign-born residents on green cards to United States voter rolls by securing them naturalized American citizenship.

 

Former Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) has launched the group โ€œOur Nationโ€™s Futureโ€ with support from Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) with the goal of helping one million green card-holders gain naturalized American citizenship within the next four years.

 

Such a goal would ensure that about a million foreign-born residents are likely added to U.S. voter rolls in key swing states, both Gutierrez and Durbin seemingly acknowledged. Gutierrez, specifically, called the plan โ€œtransformativeโ€ for upcoming elections.

 

โ€œIn America, the overwhelming growth population is Hispanic, and even a conservative Republican can count,โ€ Durbin said during a news conference. โ€œAnd if they can count they know in future elections, their fate may be decided by those same Hispanic Americans.โ€

 

Already, President Joe Biden has instituted a plan that has surged naturalization rates ahead of the 2022 and 2024 elections.

 

From October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 about 855,000 green card-holders became naturalized American citizens โ€” the highest annual number of legal immigrants getting naturalized in more than a decade. Put another way, more than 2,300 green card-holders were naturalized every day in Fiscal Year 2021.

 

Compare that to Fiscal Year 2020, when about 625,400 green card-holders were naturalized. In Fiscal Year 2019, about 844,000 green card-holders were naturalized and the year before that, in Fiscal Year 2018, nearly 762,000 were naturalized.

 

The last time naturalization rates were this high was in Fiscal Year 2008, when more than a million green card-holders became naturalized American citizens.

 

Research and the establishment media have consistently admitted that the larger a regionโ€™s foreign-born population, the more likely that region is to vote for Democrats over Republicans.

 

In 2019, for example, The Atlanticโ€˜s Ronald Brownstein found that nearly 90 percent of House congressional districts with a foreign-born population above the national average are won by Democrats. This means every congressional district with a foreign-born population exceeding 15 percent has a 90 percent chance of electing Democrats and only a ten percent chance of electing a Republican.

 

The Washington Post, the New York Times, the Atlantic, Axios, the Los Angeles Times, and the Wall Street Journal have all admitted that rapid demographic changes spurred by mass immigration are tilting the nation toward a permanent Democrat political majority.

SUMMARY ORDER

 

PIERRE N. LEVAL, Circuit Judge.

 

Zhi Feng Chen, a native and citizen ofthe People's Republic of China, seeks review of an August 10, 2010, order of the BIA denying his motion to reopen his removal proceedings. In re Zhi Feng Chen, No. A077 657 953 (B.I.A. Aug. 10, 2010). We assume the parties' familiarity with the underlying facts and procedural history of the case.

 

We review the BIA's denial of a motion to reopen for abuse of discretion. See Ali v. Gonzales, 448 F.3d 515, 517 (2d Cir. 2006). An alien who has been ordered removed may file one motion to reopen, but must do so within 90 days of the final administrative decision. 8 U.S.C. ยง 1229a(c)(7). Here, the BIA did not abuse its discretion by denying Chen's motion to reopen as untimely, as he filed it more than three years after his final order of removal. See id.; 8 C.F.R. ยง 1003.2(c)(2).

 

Although the time limits on motions to reopen may be excused when the movant demonstrates changed country conditions, 8 U.S.C. ยง 1229a(c)(7)(C)(ii), the BIA reasonably concluded that only Chen's personal circumstances had changed,as his claim was based on the fact that he converted to Christianity and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ("LDS") in 2009. Aliens who have been ordered removed cannot "disregard [those] orders and remain in the United States long enough to change their personal circumstances ( e.g., by having children or practicing a persecuted religion) and initiate new proceedings via a new asylum application." Yuen Jin v. Mukasey, 538 F.3d 143, 151-56 (2d Cir. 2008).

 

Even if Chen's petition was not, in fact, based on changed personal circumstances, substantial evidence supports the BIA's conclusion that Chen failed to show a material change in country conditions. Chen would then have been required to demonstrate how country conditions had changed since the time of his merits hearing. See Matter of S-Y-G-, 24 I. N. Dec 247, 253 (BIA 2007). As the BIA found, Chen's evidence-documentation of his conversion, his marriage certificate, pictures, a letter from an LDS stake president, the 2003, 2008, and 2009 State Department Country Reports on China, the 2008 International Religious Freedom Report on China, and a number of articles on LDS activities in China and other Asian countries-did not demonstrate that the Chinese government is punishing LDS members more harshly now than at the time of his hearing. Although the evidence indicated that repression of religion increased during the 2008 Olympics, the evidence also indicated that "freedom to participate in religious activities continued to increase in many areas." Accordingly, the BIA reasonably determined that, Chen failed to establish that conditions in China had materially changed so as to warrant reopening, and the BIA did not abuse its discretion in denying his motion. See 8 C.F.R. ยง 1003.2(c)(2), (c)(3)(ii); see also Siewe v. Gonzales, 480 F.3d 160, 167 (2d Cir. 2007); Xiao Ji Chen v. U.S. Dep't of Justice, 471 F.3d 315, 342 (2d Cir. 2006).

 

For the foregoing reasons, the petition for review is DENIED.

MS-13 gang members convicted of trafficking 13-year-old girl

 

Seven members and associates of the MS-13 street gang have been convicted of sex trafficking in federal court after taking in a 13-year-old runaway and coercing her into commercial sex acts in Maryland and Virginia.
