Get yourselves out of fiat savings as much as you can afford to and diversify dollars into: food & water storage / rain water collection, ammo, tools and accessories, sanitation products, wood burning stove for winter, some PEX-A piping for simple DIY plumbing, heirloom seeds, generators, solar panels and inverters and 12V deep cycle batteries, etc. Hard assets before the system collapses.

What I've learned in my prepping experience is to have multiple backup contingency plans, from "low tech" (rationing energy) to "no tech" (off-grid) for solutions. Diversify your planning for multiple backup solutions, for example food: have a stock-up pantry but also learn to properly garden with fast big yields, learn to raise livestock, learn to fish and hunt as well. As for water, have some 5 gallon storage jugs with anti-bacterial drops put aside, set up a rain water collection system, maybe invest in an atmospheric water generator too. Having well water is good but most need electrical pumps due to deep aquifers and are not sustainable in grid-down scenarios.

The sad part is most people don't have the means to fully prepare for what is coming, we will inevitably have to resort to bartering, and that's best case scenario with coming resource scarcity and hyper-inflationary collapse.

Don't be too blackpilled, at least the "red states" have a better chance of coming out of this collapse remaining sovereign whereas if you live in a "blue state" it's almost guaranteed to be much more painful for average working class/taxpayers. My state banned vaxx passports and is currently working to introduce legislation for a gold-backed legal tender currency in our state.

Sadly so, Americans who value their freedom better be doing whatever they can to move out of states like New York and California and vote for grassroot conservatives. That's the only chance in hell to escape with slavery they have planned for central banking digital currency which will come with tons of strings attached after the dollar collapses. We'll need states issuing their own currencies, and it's going to be the "red states" not the "blue" ones.
