“These globalists want to squander all of America’s strength, blood, and treasure, chasing monsters and phantoms overseas—while keeping us distracted from the havoc they’re creating right here at home,” Trump stated in March.
In August 2021, Biden disastrously withdrew American troops from Afghanistan in a swirl of chaos, resulting in the deaths of 13 honorable U.S. soldiers in Kabul. “These are idiots we’re dealing with,” Trump told Tucker Carlson on Tuesday. “They left $85 billion worth of equipment. In fact, President Trump is the only candidate who has promised to stop World War III – a crisis that the world is quickly rushing into. Trump warned Tucker, “The biggest problem we have in the whole world – it’s not global warming. It’s nuclear warming. And all it takes is one madman, and you’re going to have a problem the likes of which the world has never seen.”
The very real and horrifying threat of global nuclear war is perhaps the most pressing issue facing the U.S. and the world right now. President Trump has previously called for a “total cessation of hostilities” in the war in Ukraine. He has also vowed to end the war in 24 hours if he is reelected president in 2024.
“Standing before you today, I am the only candidate who can make this promise: I will prevent World War III, which we’re heading into,” he told a crowd of thousands in Waco, Texas, in March.

Evan Corcoran, Top Trump attorney recuses himself from Mar-a-Lago documents case
Evan Corcoran, a top attorney for former President Donald Trump, reportedly recused himself from working on the case regarding documents marked as classified that were found at Trump's Mar-a-Lago, Florida, home.
Corcoran stopped working on the case after appearing before a federal grand jury last month, The Washington Post reported Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Trump is still being represented by Corcoran in other cases, including special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, the sources said on the condition of anonymity.
Judges ruled that Corcoran could not use his attorney-client privilege to avoid disclosing information about his discussions with Trump, allowing prosecutors probing Trump's classified documents case to question Corcoran.
Smith's grand jury proceedings are secret, so it is unclear how helpful Corcoran's testimony may be. Legal ethics rules, however, generally prohibit lawyers from being trial advocates when they are likely to play the role of an essential witness.
Corcoran's recusal could be temporary, as the witness advocate requirement is not mandatory until a case goes on trial, a person familiar with the matter also said.
