Judge McAfee Orders Immediate Review of Trump RICO Co-Defendant Appeal Arguing Fani Willis Overstepped Her Authority

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ordered an immediate review of Trump RICO co-defendant Harrison Floyd’s appeal arguing District Attorney Fani Willis overstepped her authority when she sought an election-related indictment.

Harrison Floyd, a leader for Black Voices for Trump, was charged with three counts: Count 1, RICO, and Counts 30 and 31, “conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings” and “influencing a witness”.

Floyd’s lawyers filed a motion last week asking the judge’s permission to appeal his previous ruling on a Plea in Bar filed last year.

The filing argued Fani Willis overstepped her authority when she sought an election-related indictment against Floyd without a referral from the State Election Board.

After months of back-and-forth, Scott McAfee finally granted a Certificate of Immediate Review.

A co-defendant in the Georgia racketeering (RICO) and election subversion case against former President Donald Trump will be allowed to immediately appeal a series of trial court rulings against him to the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Fulton Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee on Monday granted a certificate of immediate review allowing Harrison Floyd, the former leader of Black Voices for Trump, to request a hearing from the higher court about his procedural motion to dismiss the case.

McAfee has, on several prior occasions, denied arguments advanced by Floyd that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was operating beyond her jurisdiction when her office began an “election-related” investigation and, subsequently, when the charges were filed.

Floyd has been pressing the issue since October 2023, arguing Willis’ office “did not have authority to investigation or presentment authority to bring election-related charges against the Defendant absent a referral from the State Election Board.”

The state replied to those arguments last November and Floyd’s attorneys replied to the state last December, court documents show.

Whistleblower Claims Michael Avenatti Reportedly Revealed Michael Cohen Was Having Affair With Stormy Daniels Since 2006—Cooked Up Hush Money Scheme To Extort Money From Trump Before 2016 Election

Tony Seruga is a very popular commentator on Twitter. In his profile, the conservative commentator with over 77K followers, Mr. Seruga, states that he’s an Intel Ops CIA/NSA Contractor/Whistleblower.

This afternoon, Mr. Seruga dropped a bombshell, and if true, it could blow up the whole Stormy Daniels affair with Trump lie that the mainstream media and Democrats have been clinging to since 2015.

Tony Seruga claims he used to share office space with the convicted felon and former attorney, Michael Avenatti, who represented porn star Stormy Daniels in her case alleging that then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump paid her hush money to keep their alleged “affair” out of the public.

Seruga’s tweet begins: “I spoke with Michael Avenatti, who at one time had an office in the same building as one of my businesses in Newport Beach, CA (in November 2018, a few days after his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence, Avenatti’s law firm was evicted from those same offices in Newport Beach after skipping $213,000 worth of rent payments.).”

On Monday, when asked by reporters, President Trump said that he would testify in the alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels’ trial in NYC that was brought against him by the rabidly anti-Trump,] but soft-on-actual criminals DA Alvin Bragg.

“I would have no problem testifying,” Trump said. “I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Trump also suggested that he’s planning to appeal the trial date set for April 15 and said he’s unsure if there will even be a trial following his appeals.

This is just one more case in a long string of ridiculous cases without merit that are being brought against the most popular presidential candidate in America. The Left has no other options but to tie him up in court and hope to bankrupt President Trump, his family, and his business as they force Trump to defend himself against one bogus charge after another.

Former Acting Associate Attorney General for the U.S. Department of Justice will Support Office’s Housing & Tenant Protection, Labor & Worker Protection, and White-Collar Investigations

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., today announced the appointment ofMatthew Colangeloas new Senior Counsel to the District Attorney. Colangelo, who most recently served as a senior official at the U.S. Department of Justice, will focus on the Office’s cases, policies, and strategies in housing and tenant protection and labor and worker protection, as well as the Office’s most sensitive and high-profile white-collar investigations.

“Public safety requires economic stability, and all New Yorkers deserve to live and work without risk of harassment, wage theft, or dangerous workplaces,” said District Attorney Bragg. “Matthew Colangelo brings a wealth of economic justice experience combined with complex white-collar investigations, and he has the sound judgment and integrity needed to pursue justice against powerful people and institutions when they abuse their power. Those who would harass tenants, steal wages, endanger workers, or defraud the public should know that the Manhattan D.A.’s Office has never had a stronger, more dedicated team in place to enforce our laws and hold them accountable.”

This is the first time the Manhattan D.A.’s Office will have an executive position focusing on these priority areas. Colangelo will provide support to the Unit and deepen the Office’s relationships with stakeholders, drawing on his three years spent as the Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Labor, his work as Deputy Director of the Obama-Biden Administration’s National Economic Council, three years at the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, and seven years litigating fair housing and fair employment cases at the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund.

Colangelo brings a breadth of relevant experience, most recently his two years at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served in a senior leadership position and helped to oversee the Antitrust, Civil, Civil Rights, Environment and Natural Resources, and Tax Divisions, including review of significant hate crime matters. In his time at the New York State Office of the Attorney General, he was Chief Counsel for Federal Initiatives, leading more than eighty lawsuits challenging federal agency action on constitutional and statutory grounds. This work included representing three dozen states and local governments in a successful challenge to the inclusion of a citizenship question on the decennial census, challenging the federal policy of conducting immigration arrests at state courthouses, supervising civil and criminal labor prosecutions, and investigating the Trump Foundation.
