Brooke Elizabeth Jewett, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Jewett of Manhattan, was married yesterday at her parents' house in Lyme, Conn., to Bernhardt Manfred Nadell, a son of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Nadell of Brooklyn. The Rev. John Thursby, a Congregational minister, performed the ceremony with Rabbi Jerry Heller.
The couple graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University.
Mrs. Nadell, 27, is a Ph.D. candidate in English literature at Yale University. Her father is a partner in Shearman & Sterling, the New York law firm.The bride is a granddaughter of the late Charles Wood Jewett, who was Connecticut's Lieutenant Governor from 1955 to 1959.
Mr. Nadell, 29, is an associate at Schulte, Roth & Zabel, a law firm in New York. He received his law degree from New York University. His mother, Shari Nadell, now retired, was an art teacher at Winthrop Junior High School in Brooklyn. His father retired as a psychoanalyst in Brooklyn.

A report in the Styles pages on Sunday about the wedding of Brooke Elizabeth Jewett and Bernhardt Manfred Nadell referred incorrectly to the bride's grandfather Charles Wood Jewett. He is not dead.Mr. Jewett, who was Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut from 1955 to 1959, lives in Lyme, Conn., with his wife, Mary Sheafe Jewett.
