Judge James Boasberg of the Washington D.C. District Court ordered a halt to the deportation flights and directed them to turn the flights around.

I can exclusively confirm that in addition to the 18 @SecretService agents on the ground in South Africa who were providing Hunter Biden with Secret Service protection on his luxurious vacation abroad while he dodged a deposition (12 per day and 6 on backup), 12 more Secret Service agents flew in yesterday to relieve the agents of their duty this week since the agents on the ground are on rotation since Hunter is planning to stay in South Africa for 3 months and was set to have Secret Service protection the entire 3 months, before I published my exclusive report.
The round trip airfare for all 30 of those Secret Service agents was paid for by the US taxpayers.
All of those agents will now have to fly straight back to the US tomorrow and be reassigned to their respective field offices after having flown all the way to South Africa just yesterday.
That’s 30 round trip airfare tickets that the US taxpayer will be paying for so that @HunterBiden ’s Secret Service agents can fly back to the US tomorrow after President Trump revoked Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden’s Secret Service.
Combined with Ashley Biden’s 13 Secret Service agents, that’s 43 Secret Service agents who now get to be reassigned to other positions.

Senate HELP Committee Hearing on COVID-19 Pandemic Response
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci and CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky testified with other federal officials on the COVID-19 pandemic response before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Dr. Walensky said that as of March 17, 2021, more than 113 million doses of the vaccine had been administered, including 73 million people who had received at least one dose and 40 million who were fully vaccinated. Dr. Fauci told lawmakers the biggest challenge facing the U.S. in its pandemic response was "to stay ahead of the variants," which might not be as susceptible to the current vaccines. Other topics included herd immunity, therapeutics, vaccine hesitancy, reaching vulnerable communities, reopening schools, and maintaining mitigation measures.

Order from Judge Boasberg related to today's hearing:
"As discussed in today's hearing, the Court ORDERS that by 12:00 p.m. on March 18, 2025, the Government shall file a Notice, which may, if necessary, be sealed in part, setting forth:
1) A sworn declaration that no one on any flight departing the United States after 7:25 p.m. on March 15, 2025, was removed solely on the basis of the [Alien Enemies Act] Proclamation at issue;
2) A sworn declaration setting forth when the Proclamation at issue was signed, when it was made public, and when it went into effect;
3) The Government's best estimate of the number of individuals subject to the Proclamation currently remaining in the United States and how many are currently in U.S. custody; and
4) The Government's position on whether, and in what form, it will provide answers to the Court's questions regarding the particulars of the flights. Such form could include in camera review or in a classified setting. If the Government takes the position that it will not provide that information to the Court under any circumstances, it must support such position, including with classified authorities if necessary."

Boasberg is setting a contempt trap for officials in the administration. He is demanding answers about the number of flights that departed on Saturday; the times of takeoff and landing; the number of people on each flight; to which countries they were taken; and when they were taken into custody in those countries.
He wantsbut probably won't getgranularity so he can compare the information to his rushed timeline on Saturday.
At issue are three flights that left the US on Saturday as Boasberg expedited the lawsuit–immediately entering a temp restraining order on the 5 illegal Venezuelans represented by the ACLU and then scheduling a rare 5pm Saturday hearing on the matter.
According to the lawsuit, two flights took off during the course of the hearing.
About an hour after the flights departed Texasone headed for El Salvador and one for Honduras and likely unaware of the proceedings in DCBoasberg told DOJ, "you shall inform your clients of this immediately, and that any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States but those people need to be returned to the United States. However that's accomplished, whether turning around a plane or not embarking anyone on the plane or those people covered by this on the plane, I leave to you. But this is something that you need to make sure is complied with immediately. "

Boasberg did not enter his written order until 7:25pm (flights were well out of US airspace by then), about 40 minutes after he made that statement. DOJ argues that a written order, not a verbal command in a hearing, is required. Boasberg disputed that in today's hearing and further claimed his authority does not end at the "water's edge."
Another flight took off after Boasberg's written ruling but DOJ says that plane did not contain illegals covered under Alien Enemies Act.
Boasberg still has not elucidated any illegalities related to the Alien Enemies Act or explained the basis for his energetic defense of the illegals. This is all a major power play and a contempt trap.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Acting Chair Andrea Lucas sent letters to 20 law firms requesting information about their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) related employment practices.
Based on publicly available information, the letters note concerns that some firms’ employment practices, including those labeled or framed as DEI, may entail unlawful disparate treatment in terms, conditions, and privileges of employment, or unlawful limiting, segregating, and classifying based on race, sex, or other protected characteristics, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII).
