Newly released internal FBI chat messages reveal senior bureau officials actively shutting down discussion of the laptop’s credibility days before the 2020 Presidential election

An FBI official admitted to House investigators that an FBI employee had inadvertently confirmed the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop to Twitter on a conference call the morning of October 14, 2020, the day the New York Post published a story about it.

“I recall that when the question came up, an intelligence analyst assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division said something to the effect of, ‘Yes, the laptop is real’,” the then Russia unit chief testified in a closed door transcribed interview.

“I believe it was an (Office of General Counsel) attorney assigned to the (Foreign Influence Task Force) stepped in and said, ‘We will not comment further on this topic.’”

For the first time, and with a change of administration, the FBI has now turned over to GOP House investigators the internal chat messages that show Bureau leadership actively silenced its employees.

The FBI, which had a special task force to counter foreign election interference, could have set the record straight by confirming the laptop was real and the subject of an ongoing criminal probe. Instead, FBI leadership allowed the false narrative about the laptop to gain momentum.

The FBI provided the chat messages to congressional investigators with heavy redactions.

Some of the redactions on the chats are marked “OGC AGC,” which appears to mean that they were made by the FBI’s Office of General Counsel and Associate General Counsel.

An individual whose name is blacked out, tells Elvis M. Chan, the San Francisco-based FBI special agent tasked with interacting with social media companies, there was a “gag order” on discussion of Hunter Biden’s laptop. In a separate exchange, Chan is told “official response no commen(t).”

In the chat, the FBI officials showed awareness that the laptop may have contained evidence of criminal activity.

Asked Chan, “actually what kind of case is the laptop thing? corruption? campaign financing?”

Another FBI employee responds, “CLOSE HOLD —” after which the response is redacted.

To which Chan responds, “oh crap” appearing to underscore the serious nature of the probe, which included felony tax charges. Chan adds, “ok. It ends here”.

In the same conversation, Chan is asked if “Anyone discussing that NYPost article on the Biden’s?” Chan responds, “yes we are. c d confirmed an active investigation. No further comment.” “C D” is likely shorthand for the FBI’s Criminal Division.

Said another FBI employee, whose name was redacted by the Bureau, “please do not discuss biden matter.”

We asked for a response from the bureau and the FBI employees identified in the chat messages. An FBI spokesman declined to comment.

I remember a moment when I wrote a note to a prospective nanny - under much stress because I was taking care of a baby, mostly by myself at the time - and the nanny said “no thanks” despite being late in the negotiations.

My husband, back then, reviewed the note and told me - when you are more rested, I’m going to show you this, and you will understand exactly why the note scared the nanny off.

I don’t remember exactly what I typed, but I do remember typing something about my cat’s arthritis, and … yeah.

You have a, what, 5-8 month old? This is exactly the most tiring, most helpless, most ungiving time in your life as a parent. If you’ve been doing this all alone, you haven’t gotten a wink of sleep for many months going on.

I will be honest with you: it will not get better until the baby is about 2 years old. There’ll be a lull, where the baby stops spitting up and you stop having to be so responsible for its physical survival, but that gets quickly replaced by the “suicide machine” phase. And if the baby is autistic like @elonmusk is- strongly genetic- then that suicide machine phase lasts pretty much forever.

Yet you’re still you. You still have your social needs. You still have your comforts to secure.

I am not going to berate you for your choices.

But, if what Elon is saying anywhere near accurate - then please give him the grace, and ask for practical solutions- such as night nannies- rather than legal actions.

Lawyers make nothing better. And if Elon has already given you the money, then Elon has already demonstrated the good faith to make other options to work out.

Think critically: “what will make my life easier? What will make me less anxious?” And then ask him of that. Just give that a try.

That being said, your baby is the topmost priority here. Hope he is healthy!

The original Snow White film was a Christian allegory.

The story centers on a girl who is defined by her innocence and purity, reminiscent of Eve in the Garden of Eden.

We first meet Snow White as she draws water from a well—a setting where multiple women in scripture experienced sacred encounters with God.

She sings a plea into the well: "I'm wishing for the one I love to find me today." This "wish" is a prayer to escape her abusive situation.

And of course, her prince finds her as a direct answer to this song/prayer. (No, Rachel Zegler, he doesn't "stalk" her. And no, it's not "weird.") He arrives on a white horse, which might be a nod to Revelation 19:11-16, where Christ rides in on a horse. Jesus Christ is, of course, known as the 𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑒 of Peace.

But the queen, our Satan figure, despises Snow’s innocence and orders her death. As a result, Snow is expelled from the safety of the castle into the dangerous wilderness. This mirrors Eve’s expulsion from Eden into the harsh, desolate world where she faces trials and opposition.

The queen’s initial plot fails, and Snow adapts to her new reality. She sings her famous song, "Someday My Prince Will Come." This is not purely a romantic ballad. This is also a song about waiting for God's deliverance.

The queen, however, persists in her plot. She conceals her identity and tempts Snow with an apple. Biblical symbolism doesn't get any more obvious than this.

Snow takes a bite and dies, just as Eve was warned of death for partaking of the forbidden fruit.

But the Prince returns a second time—reminding us of Christ’s promised return—to save her. Through true love’s kiss (or genuine love), he alone could rescue Snow from the apple’s curse. He resurrects her and redeems her from the fall.

In the final scene, the Prince carries Snow to his glowy, ethereal kingdom in the sky. The Prince (the biblical "Bridegroom") carries His bride (the Church) to heaven.

This is the genius of the original Snow White. It can be viewed as a beautiful love story and nothing more—and there's nothing wrong with that. It's a simple enough story for children to appreciate.

But it's also a profound allegory for humanity’s spiritual journey and Christian redemption.

Modern writers, in all their arrogance, think they're so enlightened they can improve upon a classic. But in the process, they're proving they never understood it in the first place.
