pbsHeaven Knows
The statement "not even the angels in heaven know" is a central part of Jesus' teaching regarding the timing of His return. According to the Gospels of Matthew and Mark, the precise day and hour of the Son of Man's coming are unknown to all except God the Father. This includes the angels in heaven, who are explicitly stated to lack this knowledge.
The verse from Matthew 24:36 affirms that "no one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father".
Similarly, Mark 13:32 states, "But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father".
This teaching emphasizes the divine secrecy surrounding the event. and calls for constant vigilance and readiness among believers.
This is what is taught but here is the higher meaning:
This is how Jesus became the Father, because he knew when His hour had come. If any of you are to follow me, leave your wives at home, and pick up your own cross. There is a time when a Good Son, will recognize when Elijah comes and make no excuses for the Sake of God's Kingdom, and will put on the Armor of God, and walk through that door. A Good Father picks up a child and puts them in a better place, even if it means the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus could have gone to Heaven when he was transfigured into a partial Light body, when he was seen speaking with Elijah and Moses, but for our sake, he proved that God can resurrect from the dead. This is how and why the Son and the Father are one, Amen.
