All of this reminds me of how Gowdy is supposedly a "patriot", as both of them have the distinction of having had, to differing degrees, opportunity to look at the situation and publicize meaningful analyses.
In Gowdy's case, CIA oversight of arms running out of Libya and into Syria at the time should have hit the air at Some point. That it didn't was concerning.
