Note on 8kun behavior/anomalies today.

Harvesting in memes bread over past 2 hours, about 1/10th of the images don't download. Failed downloads indicate success but 1.4 kb only, when downloaded by clicking the 2nd link and selecting Download Link. The same images are there, if clicked to open fullsize, and download via Save Image.

Same data, same location, different behavior depending on which interface used.

Slows me down for sure.

For images that failed, some can be downloaded properly using the same link, but those older than a couple of days get a Vanwanet error Origin Server Offline.

How does that make sense. It doesn't.

Of course they block IP ranges when necessary to mitigate DDoS attacks. Standard procedure employed by many websites. But downloading the same image, from the same IP address on my end, two different ways, a few seconds or minutes apart, should produce identical results. Either the whole image is there,

or it isn't.

Downloading just 1.4 kb of an image is not correct. There is still a bug or anomaly, that needs fixed. I'm not in a position to debug it but I can accurately report symptoms.
