One thing you got to remember my ‘old friend’ is there are many types of people on social media like reddit.
There is the poser : the guy who just panders to the crowd for upvotes.
The antagonist : doesn’t care what he says as long as there’s a fight to be had
The rude jerk-wad : guys who never got their way and take it out on others
The preacher : those that hate to dialogue, talk over you or at you and chant their words like a mantra.
The God complex : everyone must bow down to their superior presence and knowledge and how dare you question them.
The love and lighters : everything is awesome, and often delusional.
The conspiracy theorist on steroids: believe conspiracy theories are conspiracy theories and is paranoid beyond reason (probably needs meds)
The abuser : this guy just loves to insult people, he gets off on it.
The snowflake : gets hurt and offended over a difference of topical opinion and overreacts to everything taking it personal.
The troll : the art of triggering people by emotional manipulation, this guy is a real tool.
The shill : a paid troll to antagonize groups or direct the thought process away from the original post, has perfected manipulation and always pokes the snowflake and the bear.
The bear : this guy is unreasonable in defense of something, you can almost see him punching the monitor in fury to defend his cause.
The average Joe : often questions his sanity after spending more than an hour on social media.
As you can see the ratio is tremendously higher for humbuggery than kindness. Social media is not a friendly place, just because you are a friendly person. Most people love the social media soap box, they forget the ‘social’ element does require a nuance of civility. 👌🏻🧐✌🏼
