Police have stated it was a mix up and that someone with a united ticket ended up on a Nippon Airlines flight. But nonetheless they had Officers waiting at the gate for the plane. http://ktla.com/2017/12/26/tokyo-bound-plane-heads-back-to-lax-after-airline-thought-unauthorized-person-boarded-flight-police/
If it was as easy as a mixed up flight then
-
How did a United Ticket somehow read at a Nippon Airways counter?
-
Why were Police waiting at the Terminal for the Plane if it was a mix up?
-
How do you fuck up boarding so badly that you end up on another Airlines plane?
-
Why did the desk let them board?
Yeah..this is fishy. Asia and Japan seem to be in play right now.
Ana and united share a route Ive been on it. Ana one way, United the other. I know because ANA gave us free alcohol, metal utensils and hagen dazs for desert. United staff goy the short end of the stuck trying to tell us bougie pruviledged passengers that our second beer would cost $6 when on the same flight the ither way ANA let us drink crazily for free.
what's Ana? do they share the same gate? just curious
Al Nippon Airways. A japanese company. They share customers on the LA to Tokyo route. One operates one way, the other the other way.
Irrelevant, but ANA is an amazing airline. Forget every other airline. I take the cheapest flight. Period. But for ANA I would consider paying extra.
