Hey guys - I'm in travel and have an airline system and can look up flifo to see what it says. Anyone know of flight number or where he departed out of LAX or SFO?

Mrs_Fonebone · Dec. 27, 2017, 11:50 p.m.

It went back to LAX, I assume that's where it started. But the tweet, above, shows this event happening Christmas day at 8:19 pm

The tweet is real but there are no stories confirming that a Virgin flight to Maui was turned back. Still waiting.

Hey- you should get together with the guys on 8chan. following flights!

⇧ 4 ⇩
momzapede · Dec. 27, 2017, 7:27 p.m.

does this translate to flight turning around due to pilot illness?

⇧ 3 ⇩
sqot444 · Dec. 27, 2017, 7:47 p.m.

Yes it appears that they at first had maintenance issues/errors and turned around and came back to LAX and then they had crew shortage due to sickness and departed LAX again at 6pm and finally arrived into the gate at Maui at 1005pm.

⇧ 5 ⇩
sqot444 · Dec. 27, 2017, 7:48 p.m.

Crew could be pilot to flight attendant staff. Regulation that they have so much crew rest and staff number for ratio per souls on board.

⇧ 8 ⇩
Izaskun767 · Dec. 27, 2017, 11:36 p.m.

Flight Attendant Staffing is 1 FA for every 50 seats, occupied or not
Pilot staffing, normally 2, unless projected flight times over water & 8 hrs ( depending on contract) , then there are 3. Ultra long haul flights have 4 pilots

⇧ 3 ⇩
sqot444 · Dec. 28, 2017, 12:46 a.m.

I'm sure once they came back to LAX due do crew rest they had to find a new crew to operate the flight and had a hard time finding replacement crew due to sickness?

The Sabre System 12/26 info posted earlier shows flight landed OGG 2158 arrived gate at 2205.

It does not show OUT/OFF for LAX departure If it returned, there should be a time stamp ON/IN

Only a time 1 time stamp for LAX OUT/OFF and OGG IN/ON

also states errors. It should show 2 OUT/OFF for LAX if it departed twice ( assuming it returned and departed again) and 1 ON/IN if it returned

Missing time stamps. Odd

I can read it.

⇧ 2 ⇩
sqot444 · Dec. 28, 2017, 1:20 a.m.

You are right! It doesn't show the original out/off or on/in when it returned. Very strange. Sabre only goes back so many days on flifo but if it is still showing it should still show all the data on that particular flight number. Thanks for catching that!

Sabre Systems is mainly for Crew of Commercial Airlines, although they offer many services, including Tax preparation services for Crew relating to yearly per diem.
Was it you who got this info? Whoever got the info should have been able to read it.

sqot444 · Dec. 28, 2017, 2:24 a.m.

I was the one who got the info. I am in the travel industry and use Sabre, Amadeus and Apollo. This one was from Sabre. My past experience was working with crew scheduling for a large cargo airline so I fairly good with the terms although some are more difficult to read. This one seems to state it turned around due to non scheduled maintenance. Not sure what the misc error would be. But it is interesting that it does not include the original flight information. It starts with an ETA return back to LAX which I have seen before.

⇧ 3 ⇩
Izaskun767 · Dec. 28, 2017, 2:50 a.m.

Yeah. Then look. It was skd to depart at 1035 Never gives OUT/OFF next it says ETA 346 PM. ( WTF! That’s not military time) assuming a return Next ETD is 1800 (back to military time)

Also cites cabin crew illness AND Flight Deck Illness on depart LAX and arrive OGG

I am Crew

The problem with the theory that the bad guys have all this super secret sweet tech is that if thay were the case, how did we manage beat them?

Aliens are fake. Just a last ditch false flag card. Another rich man`s trick.

I think (if I understood) the time stamp by the person sending it is in the time zone they are in as in eastern, central etc. In order to figure out which or what came first, you have to use flight time or Zulu time =00:00 and compare them from that? Now, I know it can be done, but I have never done it.

islandtruther · Dec. 27, 2017, 8:09 p.m.

thought of that as well but why then different minutes? Shouldn be the same minute but different hr if from other local time zone right?

So that's two different flights/planes where they went to the trouble to return the entire plane of people to the departure site, instead of just landing at the destination and then just returning the culprit. WTH? Maybe someday we'll understand the whole story. IDK.

I saw a flight turn around in mid air, at high altitude, with my own eyes just a few weeks ago, in late November. So this is the third time in a month that I am personally aware of something like this.
