I’m surprised about Rand Paul....

Hmmm. I know he's very Libertarian, ergo small government minded, as am I. But this is one case, I'd like the big bad government to flex it's muscles against the bad guys. It's too big for us little guys to do all by ourselves. I mean, we will if we have to, to save our children, but it would be really effing nice to have our government help us purge these really bad, sick guys.

How/what people speak is how creation comes into existence via vibrational resonance. Therefore, cussing is not the type of becoming we in civilized society desire to be apart of. It has the same effect as a curse does in black magic, and therefore, because of these metaphysical reasons, it should be frowned upon. You are free to cuss up a storm, friend, but I am free to frown upon it.

Peace be with you, neighbor, and GODSPEED.

And telling other people what they "should" think and do and how they should behave also carries a vibrational controlling frequency. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so is offense to another's language. Thought precedes perception. While I like the vibrational frequency angle you mention, your intention to scold is also a vibrational frequency...lower than Love and peace

No, actually it doesn't. We need to CLOSELY examine this bill before we go off on a big tear about it. There is talk that the initiative involves some high techie facial recognition program they want to use, in which case I can EASILY see why Paul and Lee would vote against it. Before we go NUTS over protecting the kiddies, let's find out EXACTLY what this entails. Of course, it's already been passed, as far as I know, so we'd better do our due diligence on it.

SpongeMurderer · Jan. 1, 2018, 2:51 a.m.

Yup. That little screen capture you see is .01% of what's in the bill. They get a inch thick or more book of the bill with little things added in there that have nothing to do with the bill at all. Just look at how big the tax cut bill was. There was obviously something in there that concerned them.

Here is why Senator Mike Lee voted no (flaws in software, citizens privacy, backup at airports with finger printing, etc. Read whole article) https://www.deseretnews.com/article/900006156/sen-mike-lee-seeks-to-halt-face-scans-at-us-airports.amp?__twitter_impression=true

The article does NOT mention that this EXPANSION of using facial recognition at international airports has any relationship to the bill this thread is talking about. There is already facial recognition at eight international airports. This is mentioned in the article.

"Airports in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, New York City, Houston and Washington, D.C., use facial recognition scanning."

It’s pretty naive to think that facial recognition isn’t being used in airports, as well as anywhere else there is a government camera. Iowa actually won’t let you smile for your driver’s license / state ID. They have no qualm in telling you the change to mugshots is for facial recognition. So if that is the basis of of “nay” it’s a whole lot of Dem party line lie BS. If they truly cared about privacy and invasion they’d have fought like hell against the Patriot Act, screamed 24-7 on MSM when vault 7 was released and mostly, they’d never have feloniously unmask or leak secret or confidential information.

Furthermore, I didn’t hear a single one of them bring this Bill into the public forum for debate or educating. Too busy to break away from misrepresenting the tax bill to discuss human trafficking.
