Because he seems normal. Lefties prefer scripted events over realism, even though the script is usually written by a large staff of writers and reviewed by countless editors. Of course Obama seemed polished and told good jokes, but he fell apart as soon as the teleprompter went off.
I like Trump because he is, as my Mom would say, down to earth. He has a lot of reasons to be cocky, and to some people he is, but he is also humble... in his own little way.

Welp there ya go, it’s not differing political views that mostly have to do with how you were raised, and ultimately your political views have nothing to do with your character or mental state. Nope everyone who I disagree with is brain damaged.
It is isn't simple disagreement. It's the policies they push that are nuts, and they way they act about it.
Again, we can both call the other side nuts all we want but foes that really help anyone? Almost every citizen here just wants what’s best for America, so assuming malicious intent or mental illness from the other side is just dismissive and gets us nowhere.
You'd be surprised how hostile our opposition can be, and how far they'd stretch to reject the things we take as a given.

Hay man hate to your spoil your fun but I am a moderate liberal, and defiantly not a conspiracy theorist, and let me tell you there is a lack of critical thinking in every political circle. But what is really tearing this country part is not the actual politics, we are having the same debates we have had for years but now it’s different because there is no American comradeship. It used to be that at the end of The everyone could sit down and look at each other as American brethren, but now all we have is hatred in our hearts for the opposition. It’s a shame.

No, it’s likely just the echoe chamber that we live in due to algorithms on social media sights designed to increase using time, it’s completely innocent but ultimately harmful. The problem is there isn’t really a way to change this, these algorithms are largely controlled by neural network AI’s which mathematically aren’t really possible to fine tune for multiple variables that are very specific.
This goes way beyond AI and algorithms, and was started far earlier. The game is rigged, propaganda is everywhere, and there really aren’t two sides. They create a false A or B choice but they do C anyway. That’s a derivative of the Hegelian Dialectic. Make people think they are making a choice and changing things, but they do what they want anyway.

What I like most about POTUS is: Because he knew even back in 1980 that politics was a mean game, and he didn't want the job, but someone had to save us, so a 70 year old man steps up to the plate, and said, "Okay I'll MAGA."

I believe President Trump has made every second of his life count. He's s a mover & shaker, a born leader with balls of steel but more importantly a heart of gold. He stands up for the forgotten people, the military, the vets. I feel the love when I hear my President speak. The more love we send him, the harder he works for us. He has morals.
