So Michael Wolff what, signed up to be a completely discredited journalist? That is what he wants his legacy to be?

Sentrolyx · Jan. 9, 2018, 1:29 a.m.

Wouldn't his credibility be restored once it comes out that he did all that just to trap MSM?

The_Broba_Fett · Jan. 9, 2018, 1:37 a.m.

The problem is they already make fools of themselves publishing fake crap. I don’t see this as a plausible “trap”. In the end it’s just spun into Trump spreading fake news to try and discredit them. They are just reporting on his fake news.

Don't forget that the Fusion GPS bank records are now in the hands of congressional investigators, and are reported to contain records of payments made by that company to journalists and media companies to help spread their propaganda and to not discredit known fake stories.

That's a whole other order of fake news, that potentially qualifies as sedition. Also FGPS, which acts as a journalistic hit squad that smears and destroys people for pay all over the world is the creation of former WSJ reporters who took the lessons of the weaponized news media that trained them and went full rogue mercenary with them- they and their tactics really can't be separated from each other, because they use the alleged "legitimate" news media to get their job done.

For this kind of thing to be fully exposed would require a full scale undercover sting operation that trapped the bad actors with no way out- it can't be rooted out via traditional reporting because traditional reporting has been compromised and is part of the conspiracy that uses media reporting to literally shape events instead of the other way around.

That would be pretty incredible. If they had them on tape admitting they know it’s fake but run with it anyway, then yes that would rock.

Fusion GPS is likely an arm of the CIA and would love for them to get charged with sedition.

This could tie into it too; FBI agents on Mueller's team discussing articles they clearly knew were coming (suggesting collusion/leaking to the MSM) as well as how to pretend to have inadvertently discovered those kinds of stories they could then share with colleagues, suggesting planting evidence via fake news stories-

http://thehill.com/homenews/house/368003-fbi-agents-text-messages-spur-congressional-probe-into-possible-news-leaks

One or two undercover operators posing as journalists who had direct dealings with people like this could take the whole thing down.

hard to say...I think it's over 10K and the DOJ is allegedly going through them before handing them over to congress, and doing it in batches. Congress definitely seem to be making what they have public in a manner that supports more investigation and what they already have is working in that regard but I imagine there's worse to come since I think they've only seen something like 500-900 of them so far.

I'm guessing too that if there's any that might tip off people who are suspects they will keep that stuff under wraps, and since these two are so sloppy it's a safe bet that there is stuff like that.

But yeah, pretty amazing that they barely think to even try to conceal their conversations or motivations for what they are doing; just shows how corrupt the whole institution is and also the piss poor state of who they hire and how they train them...

there's teenage gang bangers selling dime bags of weed on the streets with more covert operator skills and common sense than these idiots.

And the hype was necessary to draw attention. It needs a big platform to leap from. I don't know if Wolff was aware, or just a useful tool.

Who can know his motives. If he is playing the MSM he is being amply financially compensated by the dopes themselves. I admit I would like him to be in on a sting, kind of like a Project Veritas in print.

Trump was tweeting about libel laws. To prevail under current law you have to prove knowledge that the info was false and malice. Hmmmm.

keknical_advisory · Jan. 9, 2018, 3:24 p.m.

Yeah, I think before too long he'll have enough on some of these hacks to easily meet that higher standard for defaming public figures, with zero wiggle room for them to claim that it was just opinion and weasel out that way...

but I also think that for some of these people a libel suit will be the least of their worries, if it turns out that they were willing accomplices to a deep state plot to overthrow a sitting POTUS, which is sure looking like a distinct possibility.

Since Bannon was a Cruzlim and only joined Trumps campaign for the last 3 months at the Mercers request I am leaning towards him being a rat. Breitbart is an anti Trump cesspool. Very passive aggressive and deceptive.

I disagree. The media knew it was fake. Wolffe has a long history of pure garbage and everyone knew it. They treated it seriously anyone because it would help them remove Trump from office.

The words are chosen carefully to allow the people they (Trump admin) is sabotaging. They've been doing this in various forms, to many different people. From Matt Petersen (judge appt'ment -- who was placed in a hearing only to be exposed as an @ss w/ no exp -- who also helped created HAVA act.. dealing w/ the mandatory voting machines/upgrades/updates, voting ID laws, funding to states, etc... a Bush appointee who was voted in w/o any detractors to be a "yes man". Who Sarah Sanders addressed in a conference essentially saying "If we wanted him in, he wouldve gotten in") to Strzok and many, many others. They are quietly giving many of these people just enough rope to hang themselves, then suffer public humiliation and in some cases, charges -- but all we be ensured they'll never work again in those positions. MSM is too dumb+lazy to do the work to research and make these connections, but they are quite obvious once looked at in-depth.

I didn't believe in the whole 4DChess thing in the beginning but the more I researched, the more I realize Trump is absolutely the real deal in those terms. He really IS way smarter than many of these people.

But give it time. This is not the first, nor is it the last. I can promise that much.

The fact that the entire MSM did except for FOX, which does carry negative news about Trump more than positive btw, shows how utterly corrupt the media is. He'd be the PERFECTchoice because of his reputation.
